This nursery has improved significantly in the last few months. The new management, class structures and activities have made all the difference to our experience and bonding with our daughters teachers. The turnover in staff seems to have reduced, which is a reflection on the improvements too. All
the staff are lovely and so hard working. Our daughter loves attending and having fun and learning in such an engaging, sensory, playful way, perfect for her age.
I would have given 5 stars however I do have some concerns for how exposed the toilets are in an area where adults pass through to drop/collect their kids off regularly. To aid this issue I'd suggest installing high doors or curtains in the entrance to protect the children's modesty and privacy during busy times. I'm sure with this being addressed it would help many parents and children feel more comfortable and help the nursery achieve the 5 stars. :)

My daughter has been attending the nursery for 6 months and we've had a good experience so far. We get regular updates with pictures which bring so much joy to our day seeing her taking part in fun activities and laughing away! Equally if there are any issues we know the staff will message or give us
a call right away which puts us at ease as regular communication is so important. All the staff are really friendly and are so great with the children. My daughter has thrived in her development since joining.

My son has been attending the nursery since July 2025, and his development has progressed remarkably since he started. His communication skills and understanding are exceptional! The staff create a nurturing and stimulating environment filled with engaging activities. He particularly enjoys their local
walks, especially to the park. They keep us informed about his day through the app, and I eagerly anticipate the pictures of his time spent with friends. The nursery has truly transformed, and the new management team is doing an incredible job. As parents, we are excited to see what the future holds!

Great nurturing team at the learning tree. Our little one continues to thrive. The nursery was not in a good place when Karly took over, and there has been significant improvement in the look and feel of the nursery. Things are now more orderly and communication has been fantastic over the last 3 months.

I honestly couldn't be happier with The Learning Tree Nursery Romford. The staff are so caring and attentive - they make every effort to make my child feel special and supported.
The nursery is bright, spacious and full of energy, with a fantastic outdoor play area where the children can explore and
have fun. I also really appreciate how they keep parents updated throughout the day - it gives me so much peace of mind knowing what he's been up to and seeing how much he's enjoying himself.
It's such a lovely, nurturing environment and I'm so grateful to the whole team for everything they do. I'd 100% recommend The Learning Tree Nursery School Romford to any parent looking for a warm and welcoming place for their child.

My daughter has been going to The Learning Tree since May and has been loving her time at the setting so much. She has built a strong bond with her teachers as they have all been so open and welcoming to her. The nursery share a lovely set of pictures throughout the day of an activity they have gotten
up to which is lovely to see - I do think it would be great to see more pictures of the activities and tasks they do to get a stronger understanding of their learning and progression. But the tasks shared are all engaging as the littles ones always look happy and involved. I would 100% recommend this setting. As a first time mom who was anxious about the whole Nursery process the staff always keep us well informed of needed information and are always on hand to answer any questions. The way my little girl has settled in so effortlessly and has created great bonds with her direct teachers and other staff in the nursery is a great testament to how nurturing the setting and staff are.
Reply from Finlay Seoudy, Regional Marketing Executive at The Learning Tree Nursery SchoolThank you for your lovely review. Lovely atmosphere at this nursery and the staff in the baby room are lovely. Managers are warm and approachable. My son has made so much progress with his eating, mobility and problem solving skills. He loves going to nursery and is always happy to go in. I love the updates of food and pictures of the
activities he does throughout the day. It really makes my day to see how happy he is. There's a wide variety of food on offer which he eats all of, which is great.
There does seem to be new faces every so often and they don't all seem as personable as the main staff. There's not always full updates of all of my son's meals and pictures on these days so I'm not sure these staff do as much as the main ones. This is particularly the case on Fridays I've noticed.
I've also had a few discrepancies with fees and how they're calculated which have been a little inconsistent. The invoices can be difficult to understand and how discounts are applied so I think this is an area for development.
Reply from Finlay Seoudy, Regional Marketing Executive at The Learning Tree Nursery SchoolThank you for your detailed feedback. Its wonderful to hear about the progress your son has made and that you value the updates and variety of food offered. We also appreciate you highlighting areas where we can improve, and well make sure this is reviewed. Your comments will be shared with the team.

My daughter began at nine months and is currently thirteen months old. Her general development has benefited greatly from learning trees. Significant changes in her social and physical behavior have been seen.
It's wonderful to view the nursery's wide variety of activities through the nursery app.
My daughter has really enjoyed her food choices, which have encouraged her to try new things.
Learning Tree has made me feel more at ease as a first-time mother.

Everything about Willow Tree is wonderful. The staff are friendly, kind and attentive. Our son is always excited to attend and enjoys seeing all his friends. He has grown in skill and confidence while being supported to thrive and achieve in a fun and caring environment. It is lovely to see them going
to the park and all the fun activities they create including lots of messy play. As a parent you are kept up to date on the app, get regular updates at pick up and drop off. It's fun to see what they've eaten and get pictures of what they've been up to. I couldn't recommend Willow Tree more and we are very sad to leave due to moving out of the area.

Would definitely recommend this nursery which my daughter attends. She has been here for about 7 months now, and she loves it. She is making so much progress whilst being here with making lots of friends and her confidence every day just continues to grow. Updates throughout the day of what my daughter
has been up to or what she's eating etc. The staff are so lovely and friendly, the manager and office manager also. Defo a place to choose!

My daughter joined the baby room earlier this year and I've seen huge progress in her mobility, speech and general independence. She engages well with the other babies and toddlers and is thriving. The key workers in the willow room are all personable and affectionate and appear to really bond with
all the children and my daughter, in the short time I observe their interactions, appears to engage with them all equally. There is however, frequently different team members and so it's difficult to know who is actually her key worker. When one team member is updated, she is typically not there the next day, or isn't a point of direct contact, and so there isn't a smooth transfer of shared knowledge. I'd like to see more warm food offered during tea time and more variety, other than crackers. Overall, the staff have been amazing and positively encouraging with my daughter.
Reply from Becca Clements, Nursery Manager at The Learning Tree Nursery SchoolThank you for your kind words! The Willow age is a thriving environment with a fantastic team to ensure all the children flourish & grow in a secure setting. I completely agree with you around the menu at the nursery. Good news - we are actually in the process of finalizing a brand new menu which will answer a lot of your above queries around nutrition. The 2 chefs at The Learning Tree cannot wait for the permission and recipe cards to go ahead ASAP. The nursery is growing, as you know, more families join every month. Unfortunately, this means we are relying on casual team members to fill in gaps in staff sickness or holiday absences. We do have adverts out to recruit full-time qualified team members so if you know of anyone please do direct them our way! We also have a 500 joining incentive! We do aim to have consistent staff in each age group every day and this will help with you getting to know everyone! Thanks again for taking the time to review!

I've seen many nurseries and this is the best in the area. It's purpose-built, so the actual space is open and built with the different age groups in mind. The only downside is the garden is small, but not a dealbreaker for us as our daughter goes part-time and is out and about a lot at other times.
The
staff are all very friendly and professional, and it's clear the place is run by a proper management team, who understand the needs of the kids and the parents. I love that you can pick up and drop off in your kids' classroom for example. Our daughter had been looked after at home before coming here at age 3 and the transition has been very smooth. Two months in, we're really pleased with our choice. Our son went elsewhere and whilst it was a safe, suitable environment, the updates were sparse and we were not allowed inside for most of the time (well after lockdown ended) which made it feel very secretive - it's completely different at The Learning Tree. We'd recommend it to anyone.
Reply from The Learning Tree, Central support at The Learning Tree Nursery SchoolThank you so much for this thoughtful review! We're thrilled to hear how happy you are with our purpose-built space, welcoming staff, and transparent approach. It's wonderful to know that your daughter has transitioned smoothly and is thriving with us. We appreciate your feedback on the garden space, and we're always looking for ways to enhance our facilities. Thank you for choosing and recommending The Learning Tree!

Our son spent a wonderful 13 months at Willow Tree Nursery, from the age of 1 until 2 years and 1 month (moved due to logistics). The staff are friendly, enthusiastic and caring. He built lots of strong bonds with the staff and his other classmates over this time and truly felt at home there, to the
point where he was walking in, in the morning, without looking back or saying goodbye to us! His progress in terms of social and language skills has been excellent, which shows the range of activities they engage in and how much focus they get from their practitioners. My son was also diagnosed with Hypermobility at the age of 14 months and the nursery was outstanding in terms of building him a care plan to assist with his gross motor development delay. Within a couple of months, he was crawling, sitting from lying, and eventually walked at 19 months which both us and our physio did not expect so soon. I put this purely down to the focus he was getting at Willow Tree.
