Partou Leaps and Bounds Day Nursery & Pre-school

We have been so pleased with the quality of care, nurture and learning at Leaps and Bounds. Every member of staff we have had contact with has been kind, caring and vigilant with safeguarding. The baby and toddler room work together, and every measure was taken to ensure our daughter had a smooth transition. The staff update the app every session and are always happy to discuss any concerns at drop off or pick up. We have been really pleased with the progress our daughter has made with gross motor and self care skills, notably using a spoon to feed herself carefully very early on in the baby room. If staff have been away, there is always cover in place and a recognisable face to speak to at pick up. It's so lovely to see other members of staff recognising and speaking to our daughter throughout the nursery, it shows everyone cares a lot about all the children who attend.

I am confident that my daughter is getting full, nutritious meals throughout the day, and plenty of opportunities to play and interact with adults and other babies. From experience with our first, we found she learnt vital life skills under the care of the staff, including using cutlery to feed herself, putting on her coat, communication skills and potty training. I will be forever grateful for everything they taught and continue to teach our children.

It has been a real joy returning to this nursery setting 6 years later with my second child. A lot of the staff are still there and are just as welcoming and caring as ever. It has made going back to work so much easier, knowing that my baby is in safe hands but also really enjoying himself in the baby room. I am really grateful for the care that you have given both my children; its a tough job and huge responsibility and I think this nursery do it so well. Thank you.

This nursery has been fantastic from the start and continues to be. My baby settled in really well and we all have just loved it. All the staff are very friendly and warm but also engaging, always having the best interests of the babies at heart. Anytime I drop off or pick up all the babies and children and very content and happy. I cannot reccomend this nursery enough!

The whole team at Leaps and Bounds are forever so helpful. They live up to the name completly and bring the kids on in leaps and bounds. Honestly, all the staff are very professional but at the same time all being very warm and wholesome towards the children. I've had both my boys there from 9 months and they both thrived in every room. Can't recommend enough. Thank you team x

My girls have been at Leaps and Bounds since they were a year old and my eldest is due to start school this year. My youngest is joining later this year and I have no doubt that she will absolutely thrive there as well. The staff are sensational, so kind and caring and truly do care about my girls and all the other little ones in their care! My eldest is already sad her key person isn't going to be attending "big school" with her! The creativity of play at Leaps & Bounds is amazing, they come home every week with a new game to play, song to sing or something new to teach us. The outside space is fun and they really have made the best of the space they have. Food - they et pretty much every meal so it must be good! They really are in the best hands, i have no doubt about that. Thank you for all you do for my girls.

Our daughter has been attending the nursery and loves it. We appreciate all the staff and their commitment to caring for and educating our child. Our eldest daughter attended this nursery too from baby to pre-school.

Partou Laps and Bounds Brislington have been amazing. They are always caring and I know and am reassured that they look after my daughter very well. They appear to always have my daughter's best interests at heart.

I have just dropped off my youngest for his last day at Leaps and Bounds nursery, and now is the right time to share my experience. Both of my boys have been there since age one, and over five years they've grown so much - learning letters, numbers, social skills, and how to be kind friends. When my eldest struggled with potty training, the staff stepped in and had him nappy-free within a week! Every pick-up came with lovely chats about the day's activities - always varied and fun. The nursery made the transition to school smooth and positive. But what truly sets it apart is the staff. They care deeply, and I've always felt complete trust in their warmth and professionalism. A huge thank you to all the amazing team who helped shape our boys into confident little people ready for their next step.

Both of our children have attended Leaps and Bounds since they were 9 months old, and now our youngest is preparing to leave for school. Over the years, we've had a genuinely positive experience with the nursery and feel confident recommending it to others.

We went through the challenges of the pandemic together, and although there were occasional staffing changes, the nursery always did its best to manage these quickly and professionally. The current nursery manager has been a fantastic presence-approachable, proactive, and responsible for some excellent improvements to the setting.

The key staff have all been consistently warm, attentive, and genuinely focused on each child's development and individual strengths. It's clear they care deeply about what they do.

The only limitation we've experienced is the small outdoor space, but the team makes a real effort to take the children out on walks and park visits whenever possible.

Everyone on the team in every room is so attentive - to the point our kids look forward to spending time with their favourite keyworker.

The team go out of their way to do fun events for the kids and help them learn as well as keeping us updated on their progress.

With so many tickboxes and things to keep track of, it can be a challenge for any nursery but the team at leaps and bounds do an amazing job.

We always recommend Leaps and Bounds when other local parents ask us where to go.

That being said I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery to local parents.

My daughter has been at the nursery since she was 6 months old, and they have been amazing every step of the way. I will be sad to leave all the wonderful people that worked there that have helped to shape my daughter's life

The nursery threw an end of term fete for all of the school leavers and it was such a lovely gesture, with so many fun activities for them all to do and was such a special way to bring her time to a close there. They went out of their way to make it a fun and memorable experience

The staff at Leaps and Bounds are excellent, they put a lot of effort into engaging activities with the children and our son always had a great time. The facilities are brilliant and the toddler room has direct access onto the garden with the doors open in the summer months. Overall, we couldn't be happier with Leaps and Bounds and thank the staff for their brilliant care and friendly nature!

We always get thorough updates from the team each day, hear about the variety of activities he has been involved with, and get brilliant advice from them whether it be development stages (e.g. potty training) or encouragement of key behaviours (e.g. kind hands). Our son is really happy and often doesn't want to come home as he's having so much fun when we pick him up.

My son has been at leaps and bounds since he was 14 months old and will soon be leaving for school. He has grown into a kind, caring and confident person with the support of the amazing staff and the great facilities.

The variety of activities is brilliant from being creative to learning and some trips to the local park in pre school.

The biggest asset to the nursery are the staff, they are absolutely fantastic and a credit to the profession.
