Partou Stepping Stones Day Nursery & Pre-school

Since starting here, our son has greatly improved in confidence, playing with others and physical activity. His speech and language has also improved beyond our expectations. ALL the staff are amazing, kind and helpful. Can't praise this nursery enough

A lovely, friendly and caring nursery and pre-school with brilliant staff that care and put a lot of effort into providing a fun, safe and stimulating experience for the children. I've got two children in the nursery now, and they always have a great time - learning new things, playing games and eating nice food. Much appreciation for Stepping Stones staff.

This is my 2nd child I have had attend this nursery & is due to leave & go to primary school in Sept. I have nothing but good things to say about the staff at Stepping Stones. My 2nd child was fortunate to have the same keyworker as my 1st child. Their keyworker has been so supportive and caring towards me and my children over the last 4-5years. Having a consistent person caring for both my children has been a blessing. My child loves exploring the different activities & areas at the nursery. Each day my child comes home with a new story to tell me about their day & what they did with their friends. I like the different types of food the nursery offers & the parent app allows me to know first hand what my child has had to eat & how much.

I have so much confidence in all the staff at the nursery & will miss them all dearly when my child heads off to school.

I can't explain how if I had other children or if I had to recommend a nursery I would more than 100% have it be Stepping Stone

My little boy has attended Stepping Stones since he was 18 months old, and will soon be leaving to start his school journey. Through his transitioning stages of baby room, toddlers and pre-school, he has consistently been supported, encouraged, enriched, and wonderfully taken care. Huge thanks, Stepping Stones - we will miss you!

When I have come into the nursery at pick up all the children are happy playing or doing an activity with one of the staff members.

We've had a wonderful experience with this nursery and are so happy with the care and attention our child receives. The staff are absolutely fantastic - kind, professional, and clearly passionate about what they do. They create a nurturing, fun, and enriching environment that our child genuinely loves.

There's a strong focus on enrichment, with a great variety of activities that support learning and development. We also really appreciate how involved parents are made to feel - there are regular events and activities for families, which is a lovely touch.

The nursery itself has a big garden where the children spend lots of time outdoors, and the meals are always fresh and varied, which we really value.

My daughter has been at this nursery since she was 8 months old and she is now 3.5 years old and in 'big girl class' aka pre-school. The nursery have been absolutely amazing in their support for her and for us through these years. As a naturally cautious child, she can be easily overwhelmed and I am always taken by how well they know her and understand this. They know all her little nuances and they tailor their approach to learning or skills development to suit her. We continue to be amazed at all the things she learns from numbers and letters through to how to share and ask for help. She is now so confident there, and it gives me confidence as she prepares for school that they have helped her develop to be truly school ready.

My son has attended the nursery since last September and he's loved it from the first day. We've noticed more consistency with staff compared to last year and many improvements have been made in the baby room in a short period of time. The staff is lovely and good at communicating (at the end of the day and through the app). The family celebrations are a great opportunity to connect with families in a different way. Thank you for all your dedication and love to our son everyday.

Stepping Stones is an incredible nursery. The care that the manager and her staff give the children is 110%. Our children have SEN and they are never made to feel like a problem - the staff support them so well in meeting their goals. They have supported us too as parents when things have been hard. The provision is fantastic and the resources help the children to learn and grow. Thank you so much for everything that you do for us as a family.

Amazing nursery, super friendly staff who are really engaged in our child's happiness and learning. Great at communicating with us about his day and milestones as well as taking on comments from ourselves.

My son has attended Stepping Stones since he was a baby and is now approaching age 4. He is so happy at this nursery and the staff really know him and what he needs. When he shows an interest in something, they pursue this with him and we have seen his confidence really develop. Not to mention that he actually eats more food (and more different types of food) when he's there!

As a mother, I'm very happy with the nursery. The teachers are kind, caring, and patient. My child feels safe, happy, and excited to go every day. The management is well-organized and always keeps parents informed. It's a loving place where children grow, learn, and feel truly valued.

This nursery is excellent. Two members of staff in particular and the team that works at Patou Stepping Stones are so friendly. I feel very happy that my little girl goes here. She enjoys doing the activities and they look after her well ).

Our son has been attending Stepping Stones since September. He has been really happy there and the staff team are warm and communicate well. His key worker has been amazing, discussing his day with us and singing songs with us at the Mother's Day afternoon tea.

My daughter has been attending stepping stone nursery since march 2024. She enjoys going to the nursery. The staff are friendly and approachable.

My youngest child has just moved up to the toddler room from the baby room and my oldest attended Stepping Stones as a toddler and preschooler from 2021-2023. The staff are lovely, supportive, and have been a huge help in accommodating my children's dietary requirements. Each room has a great selection of toys, books and other resources for child-led learning, and the garden space is fantastic. Food and sundries are included in the fees, which has prevented much stress and faff in our family. There's been a remarkable improvement in the overall quality of the nursery since we started during covid-times and I hope that the recent takeover by Partou will continue the trend of professionalisation. Thank you to all the staff! My daughter loves spending time with you and comes home babbling away about it!

Love the flexibility with this nursery. Staff are always friendly, they have a lovely outdoor space which is used often and various different indoor areas, with lots of different activities set out. My daughter really enjoys going here, Have been using this nursery since 2021.
