Corner House Nursery Wistaston

Both my son and daughter have attended Corner House since they were 12 months old. The staff care so much, there's a lovely homely environment, the chef Kerry is brilliant. Emma, Laura, Helen, Bridget, Beth, Shaugna, Joy, Beth, Emily, Maisy, Jenni (Im sure ive forgotten a few so apologies) - all absolutely brilliant. My little girl goes in so happily, and my sons time at the nursery prepared him so well for school. The outdoor space looks amazing since Bridget took over as manager, with a castle, playground and bike path. Can't recommend enough, I just wish staff were paid more as they do an amazing job

Our little boy started at Corner House in August this year and we truly feel he is in the best hands. All of the ladies have been so welcoming, and couldn't do enough to make sure he had a smooth transition into nursery. Our little boy absolutely loves being at nursery, and we love the updates we receive. He loves the homemade meals, and the endless activities he can do. Becky, Emma and Joy in the baby room are a real credit to the nursery, they are fabulous. Couldn't recommend this nursery enough. Thank you for entertaining our baby all day and giving us peace of mind

If I could rate this nursery higher than a 5, I would! My little girl is in the rising room and she absolutely loves it here with all her friends. All the staff are incredible! Special shout out to two ladies, who are absolutely amazing and a credit to this wonderful place. The support, patience and care we have received from everyone is much appreciated. Luckily we have another year here before she starts primary school next year and it will be a devastating day when she is no longer attending this nursery! Thank you so much Corner House!

My daughter has recently started in the baby room at Corner House Nursery and I’ve been really pleased with the settling-in process. All the staff are lovely and clearly know the children well, helping them to settle into their new environment. When we collect, the staff always give us an update on what she’s been up to and she always seems to have had a really exciting day! The meals are varied and any requests we make, in terms of bottles, nappies etc., are followed.

The team at Corner House Nursery are so supportive and my daughter’s social skills have come on so much since starting! Everyone is always so happy and approachable and they create such a nice, homely feel for all of the children.

Brilliant staff who nurture and support both the children and the families. They have an amazing knowledge of everything from weaning and potty training to temper tantrums! They helped my baby settle so well that now when I hand her over she has no tears and happily plays with no separation anxiety (not even 1 year yet!) Despite having a lot of needs all the staff have been very accommodating and I feel very secure and happy that she is getting the best care.

My little girl started at Corner House in November 2023 at 11 months old. Since the very beginning, the staff have been so caring and supportive and made my little girls' transition so easy. She absolutely loves going to nursery and has settled in quickly. Although she has only been there a short while, the staff have built up a strong relationship with her, and I feel confident to leave her in their care. She has come on leaps and bounds in her social skills and physical development, and her appetite has increased. The staff keep us well updated with her daily activities online as well as at pick-up, and it's lovely to see her thriving. Thank you for everything you have already done, and we are looking forward to seeing her flourish at Corner House over the next few years.

The Corner House Nursery is a place my daughter attends on Thursdays. She is now in the toddler room, having started off in the baby room. She’s thrived since being there as the staff are brilliant, every single one of them is helpful/caring and just seem to want the best for each child. My daughter definitely benefits from having her own key worker which allows my daughter to have a familiar face she works with. I love hearing how her day has gone on as the staff’s attention to detail for each child is second to none. I love having the app and seeing updates added regarding my daughter which are uploaded by her key worker. Everyone who works here should be proud of themselves for the amazing jobs that they do. I feel safe knowing my daughter is in such good hands.

The nursery is amazing, the staff are fabulous, we have had problems with illness and home life and they have been so supportive, it’s amazing, I would highly recommend the nursery to everyone I know, thanks guys keep on with what you do.

Everything about Corner House is amazing. The staff are so nurturing towards the children whilst ensuring they learn along the way. I feel support is incredible, not only for my son but for myself. The staff are so welcoming and kind. Keep being amazing!

Overall, we are very happy with our son's experience at nursery. The staff are amazing and go above and beyond to make the children happy.

Our daughter has been at Corner House since she was nine months old. She settled in so fast, thanks to the great staff. We can already tell that the interaction she gets at nursery has really brought her on. She loves going to nursery, and I think she wishes it was open at the weekend! We love getting photo updates throughout her time there and seeing how happy she is there. Would definitely recommend this nursery to other parents.

My daughter has settled really well in the toddler room, she only goes one day a week and loves it. One member of the team, in particular, really stands out. My daughter's face lights up when we talk about her and she’s always on the ball when we see her! She's a true asset to the nursery and I would definitely recommend it, the team are really friendly.

My daughter is in the toddler room and moved from another nursery, she settled in so well. I think this was due to how excellent the staff are. I’ve found the nursery very friendly and homely, all the key workers really care and will put in one hundred and ten per cent effort to tailor the care to your child. Especially through the pandemic when it’s been tough on everyone, they have done everything they can to provide a safe environment. The communication is fantastic and they keep you up to date. I would really recommend the nursery and think it’s excellent value for money.

The Nursery (Wistaston) Ltd has been brilliant for my son who has been attending the preschool since last year in preparation for school. I love how the setting strives to continually improve the children’s learning environments and how friendly the staff are. The best bit is that my son enjoys his time there, learning all sorts whilst having fun!

Speaking from my son’s experience he absolutely loves The Nursery (Wistaston) Ltd. He speaks very highly of all the staff and will eat all kinds of foods that he won’t touch at home. Since moving from another nursery in November he’s come on leaps and bounds socially. He’s happy to go in a morning, in fact some weekends he’d rather be at nursery. It's great to talk to him about what he’s done and learnt, we’ve discussed bones and brains in our bodies to bees and tadpoles and all things nature. The introduction of Forest School is right up his street and he gets very excited on a Thursday when one member of staff in particular is there doing outdoor activities. I can’t recommend The Nursery (Wistaston) Ltd enough.

Our daughter has been at the nursery since she was ten months old, she is now two years and three months. The staff at the nursery are fantastic, caring, friendly and approachable. Our daughter absolutely loves nursery, even on days when she was a little upset going in, the staff always put our mind at ease and send updates throughout the day of what the children are doing and how they are. It was the best decision we made sending her to The Nursery (Wistaston) Ltd, we couldn't be happier with our choice. Everything from the staff, to the facilities and the food, is second to none.

This is a lovely nursery. My little boy has been attending for seven months, since he was fifteen months old and he's thrived, he has such a great time there. All of the staff are lovely, nothing is too much trouble and I receive regular photos and updates of the various activities that are going on. He's recently moved from the baby room to the toddler room and the whole transition was handled so smoothly and with his best interests at heart. I have already recommended The Nursery (Wistaston) Ltd to several friends.

Our daughter has been with the nursery since 10-months-old (she starts big school in September) and has loved every single minute. She has developed really quickly and is always excited to go to the nursery to see her friends and the staff. She regularly comes home telling us about all the things she has been doing. Our son will be attending the nursery when he turns one.

Our child has settled so quickly at The Nursery (Wistaston) Ltd and loves to attend. I’m really impressed at how the indoor setting has been refurbished and updated with some fantastic resources. I’m so pleased they have recently announced they will doing forest school as that’s such an exciting activity for children. Our child also has an egg and dairy allergy and the nursery has been fantastic in offering him alternatives, it’s even better that all the food is cooked on-site too.
