Our child joined Holyrood Salford at the start of the year. It is such an anxious time when your baby steps into their new nursery world and we are so glad that his steps were through Holyrood's doors.


His key worker and the rest of the team took such good care of him in babies, seeing his bond grow

with the adults was really reassuring. Picking him up mucky and smiling at the end of the day is a testament to all the fun he has had that day.


Now in the waddler room, his transition has been smooth and he has found a new best friend in the lady who runs the room. We're looking forward to continuing to see him develop and have fun there.

My son has just left Holyrood Salford to go to school after being there since he was 4 months old.
From him being a baby to a 4-year-old, I cannot fault the nursery at all. The staff are fantastic and develop an amazing bond with the children, getting to know them so well. The rooms are well-organised
and set up perfectly for each age group and the outside area is brilliant for all the children to explore.
I don't think I could have chosen a better nursery for my son to spend almost 4 years attending.

I am very pleased with this nursery. The staff are always smiling, and the manager is always there to help. My one-year-old son is always happy when he goes to nursery.

My daughter has attended this nursery for two years moving up from the baby room all the way to pre-school. The bonds she has made with the staff throughout her journey are beautiful and I am so glad we chose this nursery for her. Every morning she wakes up and excitedly asks if she's going to nursery
today and when I go to pick her up she doesn't want to leave constantly demanding just five more minutes. Both my daughter and I are going to be very sad when it's time for her to move on to school.

My daughter joined this nursery more than 3 years ago. During this time I met different managers but no one was as good as our current manager. She made so many positive changes and she is always there for all my requirements. The staff is friendly and my daughter will have their kindness, fun times
and cuddles always in her memories. We had no incidents in more than 3 years, everything was perfect.

From the moment I enrolled my daughter, I was made to feel at ease, as I was worried about leaving my very clingy and shy child without me. They were so patient and understanding with her, we have gone from tears when I left her at the beginning, to now smiles and waves. I feel that my daughter is cared
for like one of their own, and her confidence has grown. I also like that they provide an assortment of crafts and entertainment for all ages and really feel the level of cleanliness has definitely improved with new management.

Staff are brilliant and have really helped my daughter settle into nursery! Lots of different activities and varied food options too. Offers an early start and late finish which is great to suit my working pattern!

Our son joined nursery late (aged 2) and remains under assessment for developmental l issues. The staff have worked really well with him so he has settled and started to connect with other children. This has now spread into his daily activities within the family in that he has the confidence to enjoy
socially with other children (at the playground and in similar situations). The staff also worked hard to improve his speech which had been a problem when he first started there.

Lovely friendly staff members that get on well with my son. My son loves his food at nursery and enjoys all the fun activities they organise. He also loves how much time he gets in the garden and particularly the wheelbarrows! The only thing that can sometimes let the place down is when they have staffing
issues - as with most places when they have a lot of sickness/annual leave etc the continuity is not as great and sometimes the confusion has made my boy less excited about going to nursery but all things considered I think the staff at the nursery do a wonderful job. I also only really get called to pick my son up should he be genuinely ill whereas I've heard elsewhere of parent friends getting called to pick up their child for the most trivial things.

Holyrood is a fantastic space, the staff are excellent and respond well to our requests and "directions" for our child. They catered to our request to use reusable nappies and wipes in the early stages. We are well informed as to the meal plan, trips and any upcoming events.

Really lovely nursery with very friendly and nurturing staff. An excellent outdoor area. Parents are always kept informed of activities and children's development through the app. Managers are flexible and they are able to accommodate extra days for our children when needed, which is a huge help for

Staff are caring and the manager is very responsive. Outdoor space is big with lots of toy for kids to play with. The staff follow the guidelines strictly when incident happens and contacted the parents immediately.

My daughter has been attending Holyrood Nursery Salford for 6 months and loves it - she can’t wait to get in there and play with her friends all day and that’s credit to the staff. They make it a really friendly, welcoming environment. The activities and facilities are brilliant, my daughter comes home
messy and shattered which is the sign of having the best time! The updates throughout the day are really good and help with the transition of leaving your baby at nursery - just great all around!

The staff are amazing with my child. I couldn’t thank them enough, although the nursery could do with more toys for the children. The room looks bare when I drop my child off - it always looks like there is nothing for him to do! Thanks to the staff who make it fun, I get to see this on the app, which
is lovely. He has a strong bond with them all and for that, I am very grateful! Food is fab, always a great variety and smells delicious when I drop off/pick up!

My son started attending the nursery in January this year and he seems to enjoy it.
The staff have been very friendly and accommodating as well and the nursery manager has been fantastic.
My son is a very picky eater and after almost a year, they haven't been able to get him to eat his dinner. He
is always hungry when he gets home which is around 6pm daily. I think a few concessions should be made for kids like this especially if they haven't changed in a few months. I mean a year is a long time.
The app is not really detailed on what he has done during the day. Most of the time, it's just the menu for the day that is posted on it. The staff simply say he has been fine all day when you ask them how he did. Even when he didn't eat his lunch/dinner.
There have been a few times he pooed in his pants and the poo soaked pants are put in his backpack which I find ridiculous since if he pooed in a diaper it would be cleaned.

My son has been to this nursery since January 2023, and he loves it. Even though English is the third language for my son, he picked it up quickly with a lot of help from teachers. Thank you very much for all your hard work. We are all happy and have never regretted that we chose Holyrood Salford.
