Ickle Pickles Nursery School is a much-loved nursey school in Iwade, Sittingbourne providing children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old a premium standard of early years care and education.

At Ickle Pickles, their passionate team of educators are committed to creating learning environments that allow children to be inquisitive, imaginative and develop a real love of learning.

Babies at Ickle Pickles can explore sensory discovery and gentle play, particularly enjoying treasure boxes where they explore different textures, shapes, sizes and colours.

Educators encourage toddlers to develop language and social skills through group activities and large-scale floor-based games. Parents are updated on their child’s progress during the two-year progress check which identifies any developmental needs.

Preschool aged children continue to learn and prepare for school. Meals at Ickle Pickles are freshly prepared in the open-plan kitchen by their onsite chef, and preschool aged children have opportunities to help in the kitchen.

Ickle Pickles Nursery School has close community ties and prides itself on developing great relationships with parents. Their dedicated Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator works alongside their team and parents to identify and provide additional support for children.

My son felt welcome and happy being at Ickle Pickles nursey school. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. I have seen a big different with my son learning, he started make more sentences and he enjoy playing with he new friends. I do think this is the best nursey and I'm happy to put my daughter
down for next year.

My little boy started here after moving from a different area back in April. When we came to view, they were really friendly and welcoming. Transition went really well, and it was like he had always been there. My boy loves it there and is thriving! He adores the staff. They accommodate his dietary

A wonderful nursery. My daughter has developed so much since starting here and is so happy every time I pick her up. The staff are exceptional and really care for every single child. My son joined Ickle Pickles in January this year after having been at a childminder's for a year and a half before hand. We moved him because we felt he was ready for more structure, routine and learning in a safe and secure environment. The staff in the toddler room and the management team are always
so friendly and reassuring about my son's day. They always give good feedback on his eating, his sleeping and what activities he has participated in. My son struggles to settle initially at drop off but the team are quick to tell me how happy he is to go and play when they have helped to calm him down. Ickle Pickles is a lovely home from home nursery and we are so pleased that my son attends there as we know he will continue to grow, learn and make progress before he starts school.

My daughter joined Ickle Pickles back in October 2022 when she was 6 months old in the baby room, she is now 3 and in Pre-School and her entire time at the nursery has been nothing short of fantastic! All of the nursery staff are amazing and really do care about all of the children's individual needs
and helping them achieve their next milestones. My son has also recently joined the baby room and has a big smile on drop-off and pick-up. We know he will thrive here just as well as his sister has as the staff really are great!

Our daughter has just started with Ickle Pickles, the staff have been wonderful in helping her settle into going to nursery and have made me feel so at ease with leaving her with them. She has been so happy when I've picked her up from her session and it is lovely getting pictures of what they have

I write as a grandmother to three children at the nursery. My grandchildren have attended since babies and look forward to going in every time. The children have enjoyed great nutrition and a wonderful varied diet and supported their individual weaning needs. I have observed the interactions the staff
have with the children, their individual learning plans and communications with their parents. My grand children are meeting and exceeding their milestones which has to be an indication of the nursery's nurturing.

My son has been attending Ickle Pickles Nursery for just over a year. He started in the baby room when he was 11 months and he is now nearly 2 years old and in the Discoverer's Room. During his time here, he has grown into a confident little boy and is happy to go to nursery two days a week. The staff
are always welcoming and knowledgeable. The activities the nursery provides are beneficial to their development. We are kept up to date by the app with a daily photo and commentary. The food is freshly cooked on-site and I think he eats more of their cooking than mine! Staff have regular inset days where they update their child development skills, which is very reassuring. They also have parent evenings and parent events. The nursery is purpose-built, so has all the facilities it needs. The garden isn't the best size, but the amount of children outside at any one time is managed, and there are still plenty of outdoor activities taking place. I can feel confident leaving him in their care.

Ickle Pickles is an excellent nursery. My daughter started in the baby room in January and we couldn't have asked for a better start to her nursery journey. The staff are so friendly and welcoming which has put both my daughter and us, as parents, at ease.
The food served is excellent and the activities
they offer the children differ every day. Our little one is always kept busy and we are kept up to date with the app.
Choosing a nursery was hard but I am absolutely confident we couldn't have found a better nursery for our daughter. I would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a nursery.

We are so pleased with our choice of nursery. Our daughter has just started here and has settled very well despite being one of the youngest here. Staff are wonderful, friendly and really care about the parents as well as the children they look after. Our little girl has learnt so much more already
and has only been attending one day a week since she was 6 months old. We are so glad we found Ickle Pickles. We would highly recommend it to anybody looking for a nursery for their child.

I would recommend Ickle Pickles to anybody!
My daughter absolutely loves it there and has thrived So much since going.
She is always happy when I collect her and keen to tell me about all the activities she has done throughout the day.
My daughter is also extremely fussy and they always make sure
she has something to eat, even if it’s not on their healthy and fun menu. I am very glad I chose Ickle pickles.

I can not thank this nursery enough for what they have done for my son over the last 2 years! He has come on leaps and bounds since being there and also grown a great bond with most of the staff. My son has speech delay and they still manage to provide the best care for him while he was at nursery.
