Laura has worked in the early years sector since 2012 and is passionate about supporting children and families within her local community.
She began her journey at Shenley Church End as a Level 3 practitioner before progressing to a senior role. Laura later joined Stony Stratford as Deputy Manager on maternity cover, where she helped lead the team through an Ofsted inspection that achieved an Outstanding rating.
Living in Deanshanger, Laura saw the opportunity to take on the manager role as a chance to make a positive impact in the community she calls home. She is committed to creating a nurturing environment where children can thrive and families feel supported.
Gill joined Acorn in 2025. and is Level 3 qualified.
She is a mum and has worked previously in various educational settings in the city. After taking some time out of education to gain her degree, she has returned to childcare.
Debbie started her journey with Acorn in 2000 as an 18-year-old at our Shenley nursery and quickly moved from an Early Years Practitioner to a senior EYP. When Acorn opened their fourth nursery in Bletchley, Debbie moved across as a Deputy Manager and, in quick succession Manager.
Debbie moved across to our New Bradwell site, and having been with Acorn for 17 years, Debbie had a break to work part-time at a pre-school in Deanshanger for the next 9 years, which allowed her to spend more time with her family and raise her children.
When Debbie saw that Acorn was opening a new nursery in the village where she lives, she jumped at the opportunity to return to Acorn as Deputy Manager by the end of 2025.
