Acorn Day Nursery (Jubilee Wood)

I'm so grateful for the care and support this nursery has given my little boy. Settling in was a real challenge at first, but the staff were patient, reassuring, and genuinely committed to helping him feel safe and confident. They've been fantastic with his dietary needs and medical needs, always taking everything seriously and communicating clearly. Every morning and afternoon, they greet us with positivity, warmth, and consistency, which makes such a difference. Their communication is excellent - proactive, honest, and always focused on his wellbeing. I couldn't ask for a more supportive start for him.

I honestly cannot thank the nursery enough for everything they have done for my son. From the beginning, they have been incredibly inclusive, accommodating and understanding of his individual needs. It has been a breath of fresh air to see how genuinely much they care about him. They have gone above and beyond to ensure he feels included, supported and valued, while giving him the best opportunities to learn, develop and thrive. The staff take the time to understand him as an individual and celebrate what makes him unique. As a parent, knowing your child is genuinely cared for and accepted means so much. I feel incredibly grateful that my son has had these opportunities. A special thank you to Elice, Eva, Afaro and Amy for everything you do for him. Your kindness, patience, understanding and dedication have not gone unnoticed, and we appreciate you all more than you know. Thank you for helping my little boy thrive and making nursery such a positive and inclusive place for him.

We couldn't be happier with Jubilee Wood. Our daughter has made an amazing progress since starting, both in her learning and confidence, and we've seen her grow and flourish every day. The staff are incredibly kind, nurturing and supportive, always encouraging her development. She loves the forest school, the outings (either to the park, shop or to Salcey Forest), the time spent outdoors, the animals (chicken and pet snails), veg patch etc. Too many to list! We appreciate the regular updates and the brilliant app they use. A truly caring environment with great people

Very happy with this nursery for their care towards our children and for always trying to accommodate any requests. My daughter went here and now my son too and they both thrived. Often I wait around to pick up my son when he's just finishing off a meal and I can overhear how friendly staff are towards other children with their chitchats. It's so nice to hear their conversations and see the staff genuinely care for these children. They do a variety of activities and help so much with their development. Can't praise the staff enough.

My daughter has been attending since she was 18 months and she's now 3 and I can safely say in every room she's progressed from, she's had a key person who she's absolutely loved and who has been attentive , gentle and so loving towards her. The staff are all fantastic and so kind, the app they use is priceless too as you get to see when your child used the toilet what they ate if they slept etc. I would 1000% send my child here if I was to have another one, everyone here is so reassuring and genuinely helpful. I have bad anxiety around leaving my daughter but the staff have completely eased my worries, and the proof is in how much my daughter has came on verbally, confidence wise , socially etc and she's just generally so happy to go to nursery everyday. Amazing nursery.

Acorn nursery (JW) has continuously exceed my expectations. They have taken such great care of my daughter and the extra help and care shown to me when I was expecting another baby. My daughter feels safe and is always happy to go to the nursery. Her potty training has been done extremely well. As a mum, it's always not easy to feel at peace when you take your child to nurseries or daycare centres, but they have consistently proven they can be trusted and I feel at peace when my daughter goes there.

My daughter started at this nursery in July. From the moment of making the first enquiry and having settling in sessions, my daughter and I have been made to feel very welcome. One aspect I appreciate most about the nursery is that communication has alway been prompt, whether via email or the app. This has been especially important when requesting extra days or reporting an incident. After each session, it is also typical to receive immediate feedback from carers, which is appreciated. The nursery site is very well organised with spacious rooms and a lot of outdoor space. The range of activities provided (e.g., arts and crafts) and outdoor play have no doubt played a role in developing my daughter's confidence. It is clear that my daughter is interacting well with the carers and responding to speech. In just a few months, her English has improved significantly, which was a concern due to her being in multilingual household. Overall, as are having a very positive experience.

Beautiful and spacious nursery with absolutely wonderful staff. My daughter loved her time there, and we couldn't have asked for a better nursery for her. The staff were caring, supportive and genuinely invested in her development. We're so grateful for all the care and encouragement they gave her during her time there.

Observations shared in the App helps us to understand how the my kid is evolving in that environment. Term reviews from staff is also give us detailed view on what kind of areas my kid has to learn more.

My son attended Acorn at Jubilee Wood for over 3 years and I highly recommend the nursery. The staff are friendly, supportive and communication is timely as there have been a few times we've had to meet to put steps in place to curb some bad behaviour, but on those occasions it's been productive and improvement has swiftly followed. There has always been a wide variety of activities that the children get to do as the nursery is well equipped with outdoor spaces and occasional trips to forest school are an added bonus for someone with a kid who's got limitless energy and curiosity. Another aspect of the nursery I also really admire is the meals the provided to the children as there really is a lot of variety here and I believe it has contributed to having a son who loves to try different foods. My son started at this nursery five months ago, and we were very worried about how he would adjust, but the staff made sure he settled in well, and he also enjoys going to nursery. There are more activities compared to the old nursery.

I've had children attend from April 2023 and all my children that have attended have been happy, well cared for, they have grown as their own person. They have been given many opportunities to explore their feelings, activities, and outside spaces. The staff have been so welcoming and shown kindness. Not only have they supported my children but they have also supported me if I've ever needed it. I couldn't have wished for a better nursery for any of my children who have attended. With the help of nursery my children have been allowed to grow into their own person with their own unique personality. They have all been shown love for the time they have been there. If they have ever hurt themselves the nursery have been great at communicating. Nothing has ever been to much for any of the staff from needing help or advice big or small, handover on how the day has been to asking if we would like them to work on anything with the children. My children have thrived.

We couldn't be happier with our experience at Jubilee Wood. Both of our children have attended, with our eldest starting in January 2024 until starting school in 2025, and our second joining at just 9 months old in October 2024. As a mother, I have built wonderful relationships with staff across the Baby, Squirrels and Oaks Rooms, having had both children in each. Everyone has been warm, supportive and genuinely invested in our children's happiness and development. The care and reassurance they have given us has been invaluable. We have watched both children thrive, grow in confidence and independence, and form lovely bonds with the staff. Jubilee Wood has felt like an extension of our family, and we truly couldn't ask for a better nursery or team to have cared for our children as their own. Leaving will be incredibly emotional, but we will always be grateful for the love, care and wonderful memories they have given our family. We wholeheartedly recommend Jubilee Wood to any parent.

We are absolutely thrilled with this nursery. My daughter has been attending for over two years now. She can take time to settle in new environments, but the staff's dedication and care truly helped her feel at home, and now she is always excited to go in the mornings! She has made lovely friends and really enjoys the meals, though the one thing I wish they offered is a halal food option. The staff are incredibly caring and friendly, always making the children feel special-getting a simple sticker from them absolutely makes my daughter's day. They regularly organize engaging new activities, and one of our favorite features is the on-site forest. The frequent forest trips on the minibus too are such a wonderful, unique experience for the kids. I highly recommend this nursery.

Initially he was put on squirels as he was on less than 3 yrs and then we had month break due to vacation, later on he was not settled in the nursery after returning from vacation, so the staff was moved him to Oaks room, which was a game changer and was groomed well and special mention to Elice who is primary care taker for my son. He has been very comfortable going to nursery, enjoying the activities and making new friends. Also all the oaks staff were patient and supportive and helps us with detail feedback by the EOP when we pick up our child. Also their activitities for children invloving more closeness to nature stand out the reason we have chosen Acorn for my kid.

Clean and safe environment for kids. Lots of space indoor and outdoor for group and individual play. Staff are well trained and very supportive. They also provide freshly cooked nutrisious food. My 3 year old boy love to go to nursery and playing with friends.

The activities are great: they go to the park, they feed the chickens, they do a lot of water and messy play etc The whole approach is child-led and they respect parent's choices all the way (about potty training, naps, etc). The app is updated throughout the day to keep parents at ease and very often we receive updates with pictures. The safeguarding is on point. When our child was sick her temperature was checked several times, several people are aware, parents are called before any medication is administered. Everything is recorded on the app and traceable. Overall a great place for children but the main quality is the staff. Every one knows our child name and she knows everyone that works there. It's been over a year and we are extremely satisfied. It's a great place.

Great nursery, lovely staff and there is so much for the children to do, lovely spacious outdoor areas and reasonable price. If I have another child I will send them here too, i would definitely recommend.
