Acorn Day Nursery (Hedgerows)

My son has only been at this nursery for 4 months so far, but it has already made such a huge positive impact on him. I've seen a lovely improvement in his confidence, comfort and learning, and he has learned so much in such a short time. All the staff are genuinely lovely, caring and welcoming. They all take the time to get to know the children, even when working in different rooms, and understand their individual needs, routines and preferences so well. Whenever I've raised any concerns, they've always listened and taken them seriously, which means a lot to me as a mum. They've built such a lovely relationship with both my son and me, and I'm so grateful for the care, patience and love they show him. It's reassuring knowing he's happy, settled and thriving.

The key worker knows my child really well and they have a brilliant relationship. I feel that my child is in good and safe hands. Staff are amazing, very experienced, attentive, and show genuine care and concern for the children.

As grandparents we had the opportunity to visit the nursery and meet some of the staff recently. What a fantastic environment for children to learn and develop. I couldn't be more impressed with the setup and especially love the outside 'forest style' area. All the staff we met were fantastic and a special mention of Joelle who is a credit to the Acorn group. We are so happy our grandchild goes to Acorns and the warm welcome in the morning makes her feel right at home. Can't recommend highly enough.

Fantastic nursery, all the staff genuinely care about the children and make sure each day is fun and exciting for them with lots of different activities. My son does struggle to settle in the morning at times and they always manage to make him smile within minutes of me leaving whether it is just giving him a cuddle or making him laugh and whenever I pick him up, he is always so happy. The forest school is great and they always have a great variety of things for the children to do.

I would highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a caring and supportive place for their child.

My 2 year old started here earlier this year after we moved to Milton Keynes. Since the beginning they've been absolutely amazing. He struggled to settle at the beginning because there were too many changes for him at the same time, and they were so kind always letting me know how he was when I messaged. He settled quickly after that and now he absolutely loves it! Sometimes doesn't even want to leave. I love the staff there, the environment and I love that I get to see throughout the day what he eats, etc through the app. My soon to be 1 year old is starting there soon, and it helps knowing he'll be in good hands! Highly recommend!

As a father of four children trust me I've seen few necessary but this one tops all.

All the staff at acorn have gone out there way to make me and my son feel comfortable and welcomed there always happy to talk through any questions concerns or issues and are happy to come up with any solutions to make it easier for you my son is really happy and settled and looks forward to nursery days

My daughter recently moved from oaks room to squirrels. I was nervous for her because the new room has older children in it and it was another change for her to deal with

The whole move up was so easy and the staff from each room were extremely helpful and gave us 0 concerns.

My daughter has developed a huge amount since joining the nursery and she now runs to get in and see her friends and staff.

Every drop off and pick up the staff have a chat and tell me about her day.

Nursery team are absolutely wonderful! Our daughter has attended a couple of nurseries and this is the first one she has fully settled in and enjoys going to. The staff have made us all feel welcomed, and have bought the most out of our little girl. We would recommend this nursery to anyone in Milton Keynes looking for a fun and activity filled setting.

My child started their since last April and it's has been an amazing experience and journey for him he loves going there and whe he comes back home he always brings us something new. We also learn a lot from him

We have had a great experience and Acorns has met all our expectations. We're really happy with the quality of feedback from the nursery practitioners when we pick up our child. They give a comprehensive detailed account of the important part of our child's day and are always willing to discuss any issues further. This really gives us a sense of thorough care and of course, sets our minds at ease for when we're from our child. The app used is updated with the regular feeding and changes throughout the day, but we also get photos of certain activities from time to time which gives us further details of which specific development areas these activities are targeting.

My daughter has been going here since the start of the school term. She loves it. Always come out with a massive smile on her face. She does lots of different activities which she seems to really enjoy. I love the updates and photos that get sent throughout the day, it gives a good insight to what shes doing. The staff are all really welcoming in the morning and are very friendly. Would highly recommend to anyone considering enrolling here.

Our experience has been excellent. The staff are warm, welcoming, and genuinely dedicated to helping parents support their children's development. Enrolling our daughter in this nursery has brought remarkable improvement in her growth and confidence. We also appreciate the regular updates from the team and her key workers, which keep us well informed and connected to her progress.

My son is one year old, and going back to work was one of the hardest things I've had to do. I was so nervous about how he would adjust and whether he'd be in good hands since he's still so little. But honestly, I couldn't be happier with the care he's receiving.

The manager and staff are absolutely wonderful so warm, friendly, caring, and attentive. It makes all the difference. My son's key worker has built such a lovely bond with him, and I can see how much he enjoys being there. In the morning before we leave the house, my son would reach for his nursery bag. And when I get there he would give a big cuddle to his key worker and that's how I know he's happy.

I'm truly so grateful for this nursery knowing my son is in good hands has made it possible for me to return to work.

My daughter loves the nusery and my husband always finds its location very convenient. He always finds the staff very professional and caring towards the children. I will highly recommend this nusery to any parent .

My son absolutely loves going in every single day. He has so much fun. He's made some lovely friends and he loves all the staff. This will be his last little couple of months. all the staff have helped him so much with his speech with him going on the toilet he's very happy to be dropped off and running all by himself like a big boy.

My daughter is so happy and loves go to nursery every morning. She loves activities, specially forest school and playing with her friends. Staff is always nice and helpful. I highly recommend. Thank you
