Every person there has a love for children, they are personable, happy and extremely supportive. They offer advice and help develop each child. The activities they create are amazing, so thought out and different every day, developing key skills. I cannot recommend them enough!

I joined Lakehouse in August 2024, and I have enjoyed every bit of working here. I started working in childcare in 2014, working as a bank practitioner in a nursery. Since 2014, I have worked in a wide range of roles, such as a room leader, 1:1 SEN support and deputy manager. I currently hold a BA (Hons) in Early Years Education, which I completed in 2020. My approach to childcare is a child-centred approach, which means that the children are the forefront of my practice and around recognising every child as a unique individual. This approach is followed through into our curriculum and daily practice at Lakehouse. I enjoy working in childcare as no day is the same; it’s always exciting and different. I love to watch the children grow and develop, and in recent years, I have enjoyed watching my team grow in confidence, and this feeds into their practice.
