Our child is at this nursery and we have had a wonderful experience so far. He's always clean and well kept, we receive regular updates via the app about sleep and nappy changes. There is genuine care shown by all the staff that we have met. We can see they work hard to make families feel comfortable
and involved with regular parent stay-and-plays and activity evenings.
What we appreciate most is how dedicated the team has been in helping our little one settle in, who is not all that easy to settle! Their patience and commitment have been admirable. We really feel like we're leaving our child in safe, caring hands.

Our daughter has been at Playhouse since last summer and really loves it there.
We love the daily notifications we get on what she's eaten, pictures of her activities and sleep schedule.
The teachers care a lot, and it shows in the activities they put together for the kids. Our daughter also spends
lots of time outside which is important for us.
Claudia, the chef, puts great care in the menus she crafts for the kids and follow seasonal produce. It's helped our daughter enjoy a wide range of different foods and develop her taste buds!

We highly recommend Playhouse Nursery-our son loves it, and so do we. He's been attending for a year and a half, and the experience has been outstanding.
The staff are exceptional and genuinely invested in each child's development. They've created a warm, home-like environment with a real sense of
community. Our son adores his teachers and constantly talks about them and his friends at home.
Communication is excellent with daily updates and photos. The children spend lots of time outdoors and are always engaged in wonderful sensory or educational activities. Our son regularly comes home singing new songs or using phrases he's learned.
Playhouse also offers great opportunities for parents to get involved with special activities for Mother's Day, Halloween, Christmas, and more.
After visiting over five nurseries in the area, Playhouse stood out immediately and continues to exceed our expectations.

We as a family couldn't thank Ford Road Nursery & Pre-School road enough for all the help and support they have given me and my son and daughter. Both of my children have additional needs and the nursery were nothing but amazing, guiding me through all the diagnoses processes even taking the time to
help fill forms and getting to know us on a personal level and the most important never judging. They were my shoulder to cry on when things got tough but also listened and for that couldn't be any more grateful. Thank you for being the best nursery and helping me and my babies on our journey in life.

My toddler began attending this nursery in September and really enjoys the variety of play thats offered - especially messy play such as clay, sand and spaghetti messy play using cooking utensils. We like how my toddler was allocated a key worker right from the beginning which helped a lot in settling
and reassuring my child into the new nursery environment. The staff are friendly and attentive to my child's needs. The nursery staff also give regular updates on what my child has been involved in/playing with and how they've generally been throughout the day!

My daughter Alayna started here in April 2025. She absolutely loved coming here and the staff are really friendly and caring. Her key worker Zaynah was amazing and ensured her needs were met and supported her development throughout her short time here. My daughter looked forward to coming to nursery
everyday and didn't want to leave! I cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you for making her experience here so memorable.

The best nursery!
My daughter is there since she is 1 year old, now she is 2yo.
They do so much nice activities, they got so much smart ideas. There are not too strict like some other nurseries, they let the freedom to the kids, everyone are incredibly nice there.

My daughter has been at Playhouse LEYF for three months now, and we honestly couldn't be happier. Communication is excellent, the staff are all so warm and caring, and she eats and naps brilliantly there - her appetite has even grown by around 50%! The activities are varied and engaging. It's such a
joy to see her come home showing off new words, hand actions, and even the names of her new little friends. She also gets plenty of time outdoors, which we especially appreciate as we don't have a garden at home.


The location is fantastic, right in the park, which also creates a lovely community feel when chatting with other parents at drop-off and pick-up.


Leaving your baby for the first time when returning to work is never easy, but the team made the whole transition smooth and reassuring. We feel completely confident in the care she receives.

Our daughter started in June and since then she has created really strong bonds with all of the staff. She started off crying lots at drop off and pick up , she now reaches for cuddles with the teachers in her room and talks about them all at home. There has been so much kindness compassion and patience
for both myself and daughter during this big transition for us.
There is a real sense of family at Greengate, the branch management really know all of the children and get involved within the team and day to day running.
There is a new app system which means that the hand over at the end of the day is purely for finding out about the activities /interactions during the day.
Our daughter loves it there and her development has come on in leaps since starting. Even as a very attached mum I feel really confident leaving her at Greengate.

Everyone at Playhouse is incredibly professional, warm and very clued on regarding children's development. I know my baby is safe and happy there. They all spend as much time as possible outdoor, and constantly try new things. You can see as soon as you get in how happy and confident children are.

Home away from home. My son Teddy started in January this year (2025) after our childminder had let us down by telling us she couldn't cover the full 5 days we needed. I quickly went on the hunt for alternative care and I was so in love with the staff, the facilities and the nursery ethos that my husband
and I quickly decided Teddy would go full time 5 days a week. We have not looked back.


We have an older son and we wish we had looked at the Playhouse for him also as we had to move him around.


There is a very lovely community feel at the nursery and in the immediate vicinity - it is very unique and we love it. More imprtantly Teddy loves it and we have seen him grow in confidence. Staff are supportive of each child in their care and are super patient when it comes to making each and every Playhouse member comfortable.


We would highly recommend, you won't be disappointed.

My experience was really good the hospitality the care for the children is very good, the learning is very well good. My son has a very well balanced diet at school and it has helped him come out of his comfort zone trying new things and helping him have more social skills.
