I feel absolutely compelled to share a deeply heartbreaking experience from my one-year-old son's time at Leys Nursery & Pre-School. After just seven weeks, my baby sustained a devastating injury when a staff member slammed his tiny hand in a door-resulting in a swollen finger, a lost nail, and immense
trauma. As a mom, I was absolutely heartbroken watching my one-year-old suffer like this. The staff constantly changed their story, and I was never informed that day. There was no welfare check, no call, and no investigation until I demanded one. The person conducting the investigation was not only biased but also cold and rude. Even the incident form was filled out incorrectly and with false information. As a mother, my trust was shattered-I regret not removing him sooner. My son never seemed happy, and he has suffered lasting trauma-restless nights, fear, and stress. I beg all parents not to send their children here. No child should go through what my baby did.
Reply from The Leyf Marketing Team, Marketing and Communications at Leys Nursery & Pre-SchoolI am deeply sorry you feel this way and that you have had a negative experience. Our aim is to provide the best possible care and it is something we take very seriously. The alleged incident was investigated thoroughly.

NOA's Ark Nursery is a good nursery.
Children are happy, safe, and learn well.
Staff are kind and help children grow.
There are lots of activities and outdoor play.
However. The nursery is good and children feel happy and safe there, and many parents say their children enjoy going every day and like
the staff. Staff are kind and friendly, and children learn through play and activities, which helps them grow and become confident. Some parents say they are happy with the care and feel their child is well looked after and settled . However, there can be some small problems like not enough information shared with parents about learning, and sometimes staff may not manage behaviour or activities perfectly . Overall, it is a good nursery, but like any place, it is best to visit and see if it feels right for you and your child.

I am extremely happy with LEYF Barking Riverside, my daughter started at the beginning of this year and since then I have seen a big improvement in her social skills and there has been a huge development in her growth of confidence. The LEYF team at Barking riverside have always communicated with me
well and always reassured me when she first struggled to settle. The nursery is very clean and tidy, I know that my child is well taken care of here and she has a safe and secure environment. The food that is provided for her is nutritious, filling, and very yummy as I know from the app how little, most or all of her food which she has finished. I appreciated the communication they keep with us parents over the app as this gives us a little insight of what our children get up to during they day. I highly recommend this nursery to parents who are looking for a safe, loving, homely and friendly environment for their little ones.

My child has been going to Katharine Bruce nursery since they were a year old and we are so happy with his development. He's grown and developed so much in that time. The staff are so lovely and caring and really nurturing. The food is great and I love that it's freshly prepared on site by the wonderful
chef. The fact that they have a huge garden for the children to play in is a bonus, especially in London. I can definitely recommend this nursery to anyone who is looking

I am very pleased with the care provided by the nursery. The staff are warm, caring, and professional, and they create a safe and happy environment for the children.
My child has grown in confidence and enjoys the activities, which are always engaging and well organised. The nursery is clean, welcoming,
and communication with parents is excellent.
I truly appreciate all the support and would highly recommend this nursery to others.

We have been extremely happy with our choice of nursery. The staff are lovely and make an effort to feed back to us personally each afternoon, we also get photos and updates via the app. The babies get specific activities that are varied (a different one each day, which are planned in advance), go
on occasional outings and spend plenty of time in the garden. The environment feels very caring and nurturing. We also feel that care and attention is given to our daughter's development and encouraging her to take the next steps at each stage (eg with language, etc).
Our daughter is very happy there and regularly (daily) runs in to give the nursery workers hugs in the morning. The most important thing to us is that she is a happy child who very much enjoys being there.
Reply from Bobbi-Jo Fryer, Nursery Manager at Weir Link Nursery & Pre-SchoolThank you so much for taking the time to share such a thoughtful review. It means a great deal to our whole team. We work hard to create a nurturing, engaging environment for every child, so hearing that your family feels happy and supported truly makes our day. It is wonderful having you and your family.

I have had 2 children in the nursery for over 2 years and have always felt that they are not only safe and well looked after but also happy. They do a wide range of activities and eat incredibly nutritious food. Whilst there are some inevitable staff changes, several of the staff have been there long-term
and looked after the children from the very beginning building lovely relationships with them.
The nursery management have responded promptly to feedback in the past and have always been open to suggestions we've made.
We are very happy at Pembury and a number of friends have sent their children there based on our recommendation.
Reply from Vlora Arifi, Manager at Pembury Nursery & Pre-SchoolThank you so much for your kind review. Yes I agree the food is very nutritious and meet each child's individual needs.

We've been at Gumboots since my son was in the baby room. He's now in Preschool and we could not be happier with the level of care and attention to detail the staff at Gumboots have provided. They have cared for my son so well in-fact, I have applied for my daughter to attend Gumboots also. They have
really helped my son shape his personality and really taken extra care to help him with his big range of emotions. He is able to express his thoughts and feelings so much better than I thought possible for a 3 year old! From baby room, to toddler room and now into preschool, he's had careful, considered care, that is not lost on myself or my husband. I have no doubt without the loving and caring characters in Kai, Leah, Grace, Elizabeth, Harry, Donte, Inay, Doris, Chevara, Blessing and Bianca (there has been so many great teachers and carers) my son would not be as confident and happy as he is day to day. He loves Gumboots and so do we. Thank you everyone for your hard work.
Reply from Bianca Otar, Nursery manager at Gumboots Nursery & Pre-SchoolThank you so much for your lovely review. We are so pleased to hear how happy and confident he has become. Supporting children with their emotions and development is something we care deeply about, so your feedback means a lot to our whole team. I will be sure to share your kind words with the team. We're also so pleased that you've chosen Gumboots for your daughter and look forward to welcoming her. Thank you for being such a valued part of our Gumboots family.

The staff have made my children so welcoming, including my older child who doesn't even attend Gumboots! I know that my son is receiving excellent care. The main reason I'm glad I chose Gumboots is the variety of activities offered each week and the trips that the children are taken on. Everything is
of a high quality and carried out with care and attention. Thank you!

All people in the nursery are so caring and loving to children which makes me feel safe and comfortable to leave my child with. My child is happy being at the nursery where he look forward to each day he joins. Not only the time to spend with friends, my child enjoys and loves the teachers where he
often wishes to go see them even in the weekends and misses them when we are away.
Nursery listens to parents concerns and has helped not only just with normal childcare I needed but also supported mentally with all the advises they were kind enough to share whenever I was worry in anything. They have build me confidence.
I am grateful and thankful for having such a wonderful people working in this nursery, because it's always the people it counts, where my child and I am happy with. Having such a warm caring people act as role model achieving respect from children where they also learn from and I do too!

My daughter has been going here for a couple of months and she struggles with new people usually but she has adjusted very well and the nursery teachers are so lovely and caring they provide details on how the day event and they have a app that provides information about food , nappy change and you
can see photos of your child too. A really great nursery for anyone in the area or working around the area for there little one. My daughter has started saying more using sign language and is more social around people, the nursery has really helped her in being her own person.

I'm very pleased with this nursery. The facilities are good and well suited for children, and the staff are friendly, warm, and welcoming. My son has autism, and he has been very well supportedhis individual needs are understood and met with care. The nursery takes a child-centred, person-centred approach,
which has made a real difference to his development and confidence. Communication with staff has always been good, and I feel reassured knowing my child is in a safe and supportive environment. My son has attended the nursery since he was one year old and is now four, and overall it has been a brilliant experience for us as a family.
