My daughter recently started at the nursery's Baby Room. The staff are very attentive, caring and looking very well after her. She is always happy and clean when I pick her up. Our key worker Amena also tells us the brief from the day and how she is settling in. We rate this nursery very highly.
Thank you for your lovely feedback. We're delighted to hear your daughter is happy, well cared for, and settling in so well. It's great to know you feel supported by the team.We truly appreciate your kind words and your trust in our nursery.
My son started at this nursery and from the settling in period to him growing and thriving now has been brilliant. He enjoys the outdoor area which is really nice, the space is really big and the children are able to explore in different ways. The staff and the management are really friendly and always supportive.
Dear Keith,Thank you for your lovely review. We're so pleased to hear your son is thriving and enjoying his time with us, especially the outdoor area. We truly value your trust in our team and look forward to continuing his learning journey together.
He may still cry at drop-offs, but staff are so quick to soothe and encourage him and as a mother of a nonverbal child it is so reassuring that staff take time to know each child.
My daughter just left this nursery as we moved house. She was in the baby room between August and January 2025. It was extremely hard for me to leave her at the start, but the baby room staff were reassuring and kind. There are three regular staff members who I got to know (not sure I can mention names here) but they were truly lovely. Additional staff members were also great. The team also take on feedback. You get regular updates regarding nappies and nap time. Outdoor space is great and was used quite often in the summer. Not every nursery will be perfect, but as long as there is good communication, I think that's all that matters. Thank you Children's Garden Nursery!
Very supportive environment, always ready to help and have an open conversation about any concerns or issues. Very pleased with the diversity of activities for kids and engagement in tasks. Easy communication, friendly teachers.
Our girl took some time to settling in but the staff was supporting and kind and now she doesn't want to leave when it is time to pick her up.
The facilities are nice and they organise lots of activities for the kids to do as well as social activities for the parents to interact and get involved.
There are plenty of reports and photos through the app, which is always nice to receive.
We are very pleased We chose them to be part of our daughter's life.
My child started going to this LEYF nursery from November 2023. He was home-schooled until age 3 in India. Since starting to this nursery, I have seen immense changes in his social skills. He is more developed in all aspects. I especially want to thank the nursery management and the entire staff team who are all doing a great and fantastic job every day. One staff member in particular has been a great support to my child, giving advice and helped our child to get settled. Other staff are also great with good knowledge and take care of all children. Nursery food will be outstanding my kid loves all the dishes given by them. This nursery's security is extremely great. I would definitely recommend this nursery as the top priority to anyone looking for the best nursery within East London. We just love this LEYF nursery and it’s a too good to go place for all the children. Thanks.
My boy started nursery in September 2023. He had been home schooled until age two. Since starting, I have seen immense changes in his social skills. He is more open to playing with other children i.e his cousins. I commend the manager and some of the team who do a fantastic job. One staff member in particular has been a great support to my family, giving advice and helping our boy settle. Other staff have been phenomenal. The security is good. There is the university security and also the nursery has a brilliant system. I would definitely recommend the nursery to anyone looking for one.
I would highly recommend this nursery as my daughter has been here for two months and we are really happy with how well she is settling in. She seems to really enjoy her time in nursery whilst learning new skills. The baby room is well kept and outdoor play is also encouraged. The staff is always friendly and detailed feedback provided by them is really amazing. Truly appreciate all their efforts!
My daughter is new to the nursery. The staff have been very helpful in settling her in. They are also so friendly and the environment is inviting. I feel no worries leaving my child in their care. I would recommend it to a friend!
My child started recently and the staff helped him settle so well and so quickly. He fitted in with their routine nicely and started making friends and learning their names, which was so beautiful to see. The staff are so friendly and management are helpful and approachable for any issues we had. Love the fact short days are offered, it makes such a difference to month's finances.
My daughter started to go to this nursery from Jan 2022. The nursery is located within the University of East London campus and the waterside walk to the nursery is beautiful. The nursery is also a stone's throw away from Cyprus station, making drop-offs and pickups convenient, if one is going to work by train. My daughter has been at the nursery for 1.5 years now and she absolutely loves it. She is very happy to see her carers every morning and is very cheerful on her way back home. I can see the activities, meals, outdoor play and company of the other children at the nursery are positively contributing to her development. The nursery manager is very approachable and has brought positive changes to the nursery. She and her staff are all very friendly and receptive to suggestions/concerns. My daughter especially is very fond of her carers, who look after her well and provide us with a daily update on her activities. I am happy with the nursery and would highly recommend it.
We feel our boys are very well cared for by all the team who go above and beyond to provide the best care for all children, constant stimulation, play and opportunities to develop all their skills.
We can see how happily they go every morning and the nice interaction they have with all the staff and the manager and we are reassured they are in very good hands.
We very much appreciate all the updates on the app and face to face when we pick them up as well as the weekly photos. It’s so nice to see all the interesting activities they do, how happily they play in the garden and the trips they have.
We would highly recommend UEL Garden Nursery to any family in the area looking for childcare.
My daughter started here in March 2023 and I have nothing but good words to say about the nursery and staff. The staff are welcoming, caring and really get to know your child’s needs and respond well if your child is upset or struggling to settle. The space is child-friendly and has a massive garden with lots of outdoor play encouraged which my daughter loves. A range of activities daily including messy play and explorative play to help development. My only issue, which is a reason why I gave four stars, is there has been some changes in staff which has been unsettling for my daughter as her key worker had to move to another room. However, she was quickly matched with a new key worker. Staff changes, I suppose, are inevitable, however it would be nice to see a solid consistent staffing team. One positive about the nursery’s response to this is that they do not use agencies and use staff from other London Early Years Foundation (LEYF) settings so they are already trained and work in the same style as the permanent staff.
I would definitely recommend this nursery to other parents. My little girl started attending in May and she adapted really well. I give all the credit to the teachers in the baby room as they were very supportive and caring all the way through. My little girl has learnt so many new skills since then and she enjoys her time at the nursery.
Great nursery, very nice and cooperative carers, fun activities for the babies, clean environment, variety of food every week. The management are very present and great with communicating too. Truly appreciate all their efforts!
My daughter has been with the nursery a few months now and I'm very impressed with how she has settled. The staff are very friendly and smiling. Very happy with the standard of care from everyone. Thank you.
My daughter has been with Children's Garden for a year now, and we couldn't be happier. She is growing and learning whilst having fun. The staff is the most caring and loving towards each and every one of the kids. They promote independence, care and kindness. Messy play, garden play, story time, music time, sensory play, and role play are all activities done on a daily basis. Food is healthy, and self-feeding is encouraged from a young age. My daughter has the opportunity to interact with kids of all ages, which has helped a lot her social skills. As a mum, I have had peace of mind since the first few days there because I know my daughter is in safe hands, she is happy, and she is thriving.
I am impressed with all the activities the children get to do in the nursery, varying from storytelling, messy plays, arts and crafts, local field trips and a lot more. My child is very much enjoying the time in the nursery and learning a lot from the teachers and other peers.
The nursery looks tidy, and the garden outside is nice. I like the fact that the children go outside to play every day in all kinds of weather.
But the most important thing for me is that the staff really seem to care about the children. It gives you confidence your child is in good hands.
The teachers are taking very good care of my girl and they made her settlement easy and smooth.
Both me and my husband are impressed by the quality and detailed feedback we receive from the teachers. This is what we value the most. Even when we do not ask for feedback as we do not want to interrupt the teachers when we pick up my daughter, they come and talk with us.
Also, I love the app, the parent workshops, the photos and updates and how all of the teachers are so transparent with everything that is happening.
Thank you all!
