A caring and calm environment where both my children have attended. Staff supportive and always working to help children learn and play. Great focus on reading.
Children are happy, safe, and learn well.
Staff are kind and help children grow.
There are lots of activities and outdoor play.
However. The nursery is good and children feel happy and safe there, and many parents say their children enjoy going every day and like the staff. Staff are kind and friendly, and children learn through play and activities, which helps them grow and become confident. Some parents say they are happy with the care and feel their child is well looked after and settled . However, there can be some small problems like not enough information shared with parents about learning, and sometimes staff may not manage behaviour or activities perfectly . Overall, it is a good nursery, but like any place, it is best to visit and see if it feels right for you and your child.
Our two children attended this nursery and we only have good things to say about the nursery. The staff are so nurturing and caring, there is good outdoor space and a nutritious menu and in-house chef. A music teacher also attended weekly to sing songs and play instruments. Our children enjoyed attending and have flourished at the nursery. We are so sad to leave the nursery due to moving abroad.
Noah's Ark is an excellent nursery and we have sent both our children here, even after moving slightly further away.
There is very little staff turnover compared to other nurseries and the nursery has a family feel to it as a result.
There is less age segregation compared to other nurseries, with all children over 2 in the same large room. This has helped our children's development as they first learn from the older children when they are 2 and then get to help nurture the younger ones when they are older.
There are always plenty of activities going on to entertain the children and there is a focus on play for development, giving them a chance to enjoy their childhood, rather than treating them as little school children.
All the food is cooked on site by the chefs and is nutritious and seems to go down well with the children.
Excellent nursery, highly recommend. The staff are beyond kind, loving and attentive, which creates a positive and warm environment. Our daughter started at Noah's Ark when she turned one and is now three, she feels safe and very happy there. The staff have helped her to become confident and she has made a lot of great friends. Lovely parent community too.
Outstanding. Our little boy loves to go to Noah’s Ark as he feels at home, surrounded by people who really care about him. Lovely staff and great little friends. Nice activities are organised and a lot of support to encourage kids to explore and become independent. Will definitely recommend it.
My little girl has gone from strength to strength since joining Noah’s Ark. She runs through the door each day and talks about the staff and children in such a positive way when she is home with us. They are patient and caring and loving with her, everything we hoped nursery would be.
Great selection of food and brilliant activities set up. The staff look after him very well and I love looking on the app to see what he has been up to.
We love Noah's Ark and all of her staff members. Such a great, consistent team of professionals, who give our children the best environment to play and learn. Our children feel safe, happy and seen at Noah's. And the chef is amazing too.
Noah’s Ark is everything you could want in a nursery. Excellent care, fantastic activities and wonderful employees - our child is very happy there. From day one, the staff have gone above and beyond to make our family feel welcome. We personally love that most of the staff have been there for years, demonstrating that they enjoy their workplace and as a result, they create a fantastic, positive environment for the kids. The management team are excellent - the perfect balance of professional but extremely personal. We highly recommend Noah’s Ark!
My daughter has been attending Noah’s Ark Nursery since September 2022 and has had a wonderful experience there. All the staff members are lovely and interactive; they take pride in what they do and make an effort to know and speak to each child, which makes them feel seen and safe. There’s always a good amount of activities for children to play with but not feel overwhelmed. Also, they have opportunities to be included in experiments and baking! I’ve not had one bad experience and can’t fault this nursery at all.
The entire Noah’s Ark team are attentive, professional and loving towards our children. Given this is essentially a “second home” for our children and they’re in the Noah’s team care for the full day, this is extremely important. The children are engaged with the various activities and learning opportunities they foster. The food is fab as well (we joke that they eat more balanced food here than at home). We’ve had a great experience here over the past three years. There has been little to no turnover we’ve noticed throughout our time and the nursery manager/deputy managers are amazing! Tip: get on the waitlist earlier than you’d think as it’s a popular nursery (for good reason).
Our child has been there since 10 months old. Staff are amazing, caring, knowledgeable and the whole team works together amazingly. So welcoming too. They are there to support you and communication is brilliant too.
The other nursery was also rated outstanding by Ofsted but in my view, Noah's Ark is in a different league. I particularly like the fact that the children at the nursery come from a diverse range of backgrounds. At Noah's Ark children come first and not financial profit. The nursery feels like one big family in which even the chef has a rapport with the children. Older siblings of children at the nursery are often seen happily engaging with their former teachers when accompanying their parents to do pick-up. The nursery's manager is outstanding.
The days are structured and my child often comes home having learned new things. Since going to nursery she has developed very quickly.
Our little one attended from 11 months to 3.5 years. I am so grateful for the care we all received; it was exceptionally attentive and our little one did very well. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a nurturing environment, for little ones as well as parents!
Our child is happy there. The staff care. The activities are thoughtful and varied. They communicate well and are really kind. The food is amazing. Great they play outside. Staff do an enormous amount of paperwork really thoroughly. Staff seem happy and not too exhausted with all the noisy children.
My daughter has been attending Noah’s Ark crèche since she was nine months. She is now almost three and during this time, the nursery staff have become like a family to us. They are remarkably wonderful and genuinely care about children. There is always a positive vibe in the nursery, the classroom is airy and full of activities, the spacious outdoor space is enjoyed by kids all day long and the food cooked on site is very well balanced. Thanks to the nursery, my daughter picked up yoga at the age of two, tidying up her toys and priceless wisdom such as daddy, sharing is caring.
Our daughter and us we cannot be happier with the Noah’s Ark. She is going to stay at the nursery until the primary school and we hope our second child will also get a place there.
Both my children have attended Noah's Ark during the last five years and I have huge praise for the excellent staff who have become like extended family to us. The manager is incredible - she possesses an admirable combination of calmness, kindness, wisdom and authority. The staff are a brilliant mix of personalities and we have the utmost faith in their ability to provide an excellent standard of care for the children. There are a handful of staff who have been there for a good few years - collectively the team has a high level of experience. The daily feedback we receive at collection time is particularly thorough in the baby room - we have appreciated the level of detail the staff go to when writing in this book, and also in the files that record the children's learning'personal development. The free flow nature of play here enables the children to develop their own interests, which the staff then nurture. A happy and well-organised nursery - we love Noahs Ark!

My name is Aine and I have been manager of Noah’s Ark Nursery & Pre-School since 1993! My most memorable moment is when I showed Princess Diana around the nursery when it first opened. We recently had the third child of a family join the nursery, which is very unusual. I also have very fond memories of my own daughter attending the nursery until she was 4.
