I'm really happy I chose this nursery for my kids; the settling has been smooth and I was accurately informed about every step. All the teachers are competent and really lovely and they involve the kids in a range of different activities to empower them to learn and engage. I would recommend this nursery.

My son started in toddler room and has settled in really well now. I have to say I've seen him come very far I used to be quite wary about his eating because he started off with strong gagging reflexes but, the meal time routine here at the nursery, have helped him become a better eater, the nursery
offer such a variety of different kinds of foods and cuisines which I think is brilliant. I know the chef is amazing and takes a lot of care in making sure food is top notch and the nursery prioritise this which is clear to see. The activities are very fun and engaging for my toddler he has so much to do. My son loves getting messy and playing with everything. It's a great experience that I couldn't provide for him in the same way at home. He's got a good relationship with his key person and many of the other staff members. I'm really happy and glad I made the right choice to bring him here at Cumberland Road!

We've had a wonderful experience with Leyf Cumberland Nursery for our one-year-old. Since starting, we've seen significant improvements in her social and eating skills, which gave us the confidence to move her to full-time care.


The teachers are warm, attentive, and consistently introduce new activities

that help develop her skills in a fun, engaging way. It's clear they genuinely care about the children's growth and well-being.


One of the aspects we appreciate most is the regular updates-we always know how she's doing and what she's been up to, which is incredibly reassuring as parents.


We couldn't be happier with the nurturing environment and the progress our daughter has made. We do recommend!

My daughter joined the toddler room in January, and we absolutely love it! Moving her from another nursery was the best decision I've made.
Since joining, she has been eating much better and is more adventurous with food. Her communication skills have taken a huge leap, and her confidence grows every
day. I love that no two days are the same-the team truly puts in the effort to create a fun, enriching, and engaging environment.
The teachers are always calm, happy, and eager to share updates. Their weekly reports are detailed, constructive, and paint a wonderful picture of all the fun they've had.
I also appreciate how they encourage good hygiene habits. Since joining, my daughter hasn't been ill, which speaks volumes about their care and attention.
From management to the teachers and the amazing chef: thank you for everything you do every single day! I'm so grateful for this bright, nurturing place where my daughter can grow, learn, and make friends.

Today was the final straw with Cumberland Road Nursery having my wife pick up my son and he is walking around half-naked outdoors with two members of staff standing around chatting, not paying attention to any of the kids. The management seems to have neglected my child numerous times and I have let
it slide. They are unprofessional and I do not want any parent/child to go through any horrible experience with this nursery. Please avoid at all costs for the safety of your child.

My 1yo has been going to the nursery (baby room) for a month and he has been loving it! The nursery teachers are nurturing and caring. My baby has bonded with them all very quickly. They create an amazing environment for the little ones to learn and explore appropriately for their age and help them
develop their skills. The food and level of nutrition are amazing and I love the updates on the family App so I can stay informed of how my baby is progressing.

Since the early days, it has been evident that the staff truly care for the children and go the extra mile to build bonds/relationships, which has greatly contributed to my son's confidence to navigate his early years and really flourish.
The curriculum is one of the main reasons we chose this nursery;
however, the manner in which the staff translate the curriculum to the classroom, and deliver the key messages is truly outstanding.
The support provided to help with key learnings such as potty training has been excellent, both me and my wife work full time, however, the nursery has ensured he stays on track.
There has never been a day where my son is sad, apprehensive, or anxious to go to nursery, as he has such a brilliant relationship with the staff there, built on mutual respect, trust, and genuine care for his well-being.
I would like to say a personal thank you to everyone who has looked after my child, past and present; we are extremely grateful for everything you do.

My daughter started at the age of 2 and I needed contentment that she is somewhere loved and cared for. I feel satisfied to see her happy. The teachers are very caring and treat every child like their own. The manager is so lovely, she is very approachable, attentive and gives you clarity in your requirements.
I am very happy to have across this nursery and I would highly recommend to my family and friends.

Great place. Lunches always sound delicious. And child is developing well.
They have a garden where they grow veggies and the kids get to use these in their meals.

Our son has been attending the nursery since July 2023. He loves going in every morning and as soon as we park outside the nursery he runs to go in. The teachers are very welcoming and warm towards our son. We are involved in parent's evening and love seeing his progress through the app. I would recommend

From the moment we stepped foot in the nursery and met the staff we knew this was the only place our baby could go to. Diverse, fantastic early learning years resources and Michelin star food are just a few highlights.
The staff treat your child with respect and love. I know my baby is building their
character positively through their teacher's leadership and the varied activities they all do daily.
The nursery manager is always visible, open to a conversation and calm - she puts a lot of time and effort into all aspects of the nursery. If there has been an incident senior staff deal with it in a constructive and professional way, they are transparent, follow safeguarding protocols and contact you quickly.
The food and menu on offer to the children is phenomenal, the chef onsite is talented and one of the friendliest staff you’ll meet and she loves nothing more than the children complimenting her food. The place always smells amazing.

Having recently moved from another nursery, I found Cumberland to be an excellent nursery comparatively. I have found management to be very responsive to our needs, and the communication is excellent. I have found the staff to be more personal and aware of our daughter's progression and I appreciate
they take the time to explain the daily activities and learnings during pickup.
Although it may be luck, my daughter is in a much healthier environment as we haven't seen her ill since coming to Cumberland for the past 4 winter months.
Most importantly, compared to a previous nursery, we have found our daughter has learned much more in terms of conversation, awareness, and dexterity. I will credit the staff for introducing a wide range of weekly events such as Chinese New Year and Mother's Day as examples. Our daughter is enjoying her time at the nursery.

This nursery provides excellent care to all children. My child comes home very happy and tells me all about what he has done. His speech has advanced since starting here. All the members of staff are very friendly and really care about the children.

Cumberland Road Nursery is amazing with my son. He's happy here and I’ve noticed progress since he’s started. He has a great relationship with his teachers and they are all lovely and give great detailed feedback and are attentive. It’s also great to see regular updates on what my son’s up to at nursery
during the week on the app. Management is very supportive of me being a single parent, they have listened well to the concerns I have. Great nursery.
