Both of my children have attended this nursery and have been so well looked after. The staff are extremely kind and nurturing. There was a period of instability, with a hight turnover of staff but in over a year it has really been great with consistent staff and care. They have lovely activities for the kids including animal experiences, music lady session and now football. They also do regular parents days and stay and play session.

Still not a fan of HO senior management, but the on the ground management and staff are great.

Both of my children have attended this nursery, with my eldest now about to leave to start school. The staff are all wonderful and go above and beyond to ensure every child feels safe, happy and comfortable. They also do an amazing job supporting each child's development and helping them reach important milestones.

The management team deserves recognition too. They have created such a welcoming, family-oriented environment and make a real effort to involve parents through events such as Stay and Play sessions, graduation celebrations and weekend parents' evenings where children can come along and play. It really feels like a community, and we couldn't have asked for a better nursery for our children.

Both of my children have have been in the setting from a few months old up to school ages. The environment, learning, care, attention are all great. Staff are wonderful and really do care. The admin team are very responsive on email and go above and beyond to make sure requests are taken care of. In the 7 years I've had children go here, I've only had one issue, which was addressed well. My only couple of criticism points would be the increasing fees, year on year. Starting at £60pd to £107pd on leaving - this is extortionate. Also the lack of flexibility with moving nursery days on the odd occasion without having to book an extra day and incur a cost. Otherwise, a brilliant nursery which I would use all over again!

My daughter has been there for 2 years and I can honestly say, I love this nursery. They have become her 2nd family. They have given her so much joy, confidence and care. She loved every single day of nursery. She loved the staff and the setting, she had so much fun and truly flourished there. Love the team and would highly recommend this nursery.

The nursery manager and teachers genuinely care about the children's wellbeing. They are always accommodating to our requests and do their best to help the children grow, learn, and develop new skills.

On the few occasions when I had feedback, it was acted on immediately, and we never had to raise the same issue again. That gave us a lot of confidence that our concerns were listened to and taken seriously.

Last but not least, I appreciate the balance between structured activities and giving children the space to play independently and explore at their own pace.

We are very happy with the nursery and grateful that our children can spend their days in such a safe, caring, and nurturing environment while we are at work.

My child enjoyed this nursery very much. He was well looked after by all the staff, especially his key person. He was encouraged through play in many ways and had made loads of friends. What a wonderful start to his learning journey!

My boy has learnt so many new things, songs and comes home happy! I couldn't praise the staff more.

My son has been thriving, absolutely loving this nursery and highly recommend to anyone looking for one. It is miles away better than all other local alternatives. They are fully profesional, well equipped, clean and not to mention friendly.

My child has been at the nursery for the past 2 years and is about to leave for school. The nursery has been so accommodating when wanting to change him from 1 day to 2 days and explained all my options to me. All the staff are friendly and welcoming. It is also very nice as a parent to be invited in to the nursery several times through the year to see all the exciting things that they children are doing.

Our baby had a great time at Chestnut Nursery. She was excited to go to nursery everyday, so much so that she would just walk straight in without even saying goodbye to us sometimes. The staff seem very caring and attentive.

Both of our children attend here - one in the baby room and one in preschool. We've had such a warm, caring feeling from all the staff looking after our children. The communication is great and the updates on the app give us a great insight into their day. We feel the staff really care about them and enjoy looking after them. Our oldest has bonded so well with each key person in each room as he's got older. One of the things that drew us to the nursery was the huge outdoor space - our eldest has so much energy and he loves spending the day in each garden. We would highly recommend this nursery to other families.

Our daughter has been attending the nursery since January, when she was just 11 months old, in the Einstein room. From the beginning, we have been incredibly impressed by the professionalism and care shown by all staff members. The communication with families is excellent, and we always feel informed and involved. The team works hard to follow our daughter's schedule and preferences, while also using their professional judgement when needed, which gives us great confidence in their care. The safeguarding procedures are thorough, and we really appreciate being updated on the EYFS indicators our daughter has achieved. The activities provided are highly engaging, varied, and clearly support her development. The facilities are excellent, and every member of staff is friendly, welcoming, and approachable. Most importantly, our daughter settled in extremely quickly and is always happy to attend. She also really enjoys the wide range of food offered each day. We would highly recommend.

Chestnut is a wonderful nursery. They have been taking care of our child for over two years now. The staff is amazing and they take the time to explain the days to the parents at pick up. The nursery is also well located on the recreational ground which means that the children get to go outside often. I thoroughly recommend Chestnut in Cottenham.

We truly value how well the team keeps us updated on his daily activities and development. While we did encounter some challenges for a short period, I have to commend Sam and the senior team for their transparency. They were completely open about the issues, took full responsibility, and were genuinely apologetic. Most importantly, they worked incredibly hard to resolve the situation and make things right. It gave us so much confidence to see how they handled it, and we couldn't be happier with the care our son receives now
