Amazing place! The staff are knowledgeable, kind and really instil good values in the kids. My child loves going to nursery every day and is growing into a confident 4-year-old. The timings are great for working parents too! Highly recommend.

As a family, we have only wonderful things to say about Chestnut Nursery School. For us, it was important that our children were both safe and happy, we wanted them to thrive socially and for their development to be supported by their childcare provider. In all regards, Chestnut at Earlham, excels.
We feel total confidence in the staff. We know that our children are looked after, secure and happy. They love it there. The staff are kind, compassionate and calm. They have been like family to our children. Both of our children have attended Chestnut Nursery School and we have now had our children enrolled since 2019. We have therefore experienced their provision before, during and after the pandemic. All situations have been thoughtfully and knowledgeably managed. Settling in procedures are well considered and managed, and transitions from one age group to the next have been well supported. The setting is well equipped and feels warm and family style. We love it.

Chestnut Nursery School @ Earlham Grove has been a fantastic place for our child, who has been attending since 10 months old and is now in the pre-school room. The staff are caring, attentive and take care to respond to any issue or concern with compassion and sensitivity. Our child is happy to go every
day and has learned a lot from the staff and other children. We are very happy there.

Both our children have attended Chestnut Nursery School @ Earlham Grove and we could not be happier. It is such a relief sending your children to a nursery that genuinely loves and cares for your children and has their development and well-being at the heart of what they do. The nursery is like a warm,
welcoming, big family. All the staff are so wonderful, kind, skilled and passionate about every child. The baby room has recently been upgraded with wooden toys and lots of wonderful sensory activities and toys for them. The managers are excellent, providing regular and clear communication and always going the extra mile to ensure your child is having a positive experience. They work with parents to develop personal plans to support you in any area. We had this for settling in and potty training and it was great to feel like you're a team. I feel lucky to be part of such a wonderful nursery community and highly recommend.

My son spent over three and a half years with the nursery. Excellent care and collaboration between myself and the staff. Great communication and genuine care in the development and well-being of my son. He left the nursery well prepared for his next steps in school. I will always highly recommend the
care and services of this nursery.

My daughter joined the nursery just before she was 1 and the staff have been outstanding with her during the settling in period. They are all welcoming and caring. All members of staff have gone out of their way to form positive relationships with my daughter and this means she is now excited when she
arrives at nursery. Their day is well structured with an excellent menu for breakfast, lunch and tea. They have stimulating resources and different activities (daily) and the entire nursery is always clean and organised. I would definitely recommend this nursery and I am so happy with our choice - and so is my daughter!

Chestnut Nursery at Earlham Grove has been fantastic for my son. He loves nursery and the staff and children and has learnt so much and surprises me every day. His behaviour and manners have exceeded my expectation and they learn so much. When I bring him home he is happy and content. Any issues
that I bring up are always discussed in a positive manner. The staff are attentive and always put me at ease which makes bringing here like a second home. They are always happy to help especially when I have emergencies and I need care they always try to accommodate me. They make sure the children are busy with activities every day and are well fed and kept clean and I am always updated on his day which is no mean feat. Highly recommended and I will be sad to leave when he is ready for reception but it has been the best start for him. So thank you to all the team.

Chestnut Nursery has been incredible in their support and care of our daughter. She started the nursery full time at 8 months old and they were fantastic at helping settle both her (and myself!) into her new routine. They were really flexible when I chose to go part-time and have been even more flexible
if I have needed to place her in nursery for any additional days. The staff truly care for the children and have a great relationship with them all. The space is great and they use the garden every day.

Chestnut Nursery is where my first daughter graduated last year and where my son is attending presently. It is a great Kindergarten! The staff are all remarkably caring, loving and kind towards the children and very friendly with parents. At their parents evenings, we get an opportunity to discuss what
our children are doing at the nursery, their progress and how they are getting on developmentally and socially and the like. Both my husband and I are very grateful to the staff that helped her in her toilet training. They also encouraged my children to eat vegetables and fruit which seemed difficult for us initially. With resolves, sacrifice and patience, beautiful works carried out inside of the building and it is now cosier. Without good leadership and management from the nursery manager, the nursery would not have been running as smoothly as it does. The evident good teamwork and success of the nursery is a contributory factor to good leadership and it can be definitely summed up as such.

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2024

I have recently joined Chestnut Nursery School, but have worked in early years for over 4 years now, whilst doing my early years degree. Previously, whilst working in early years, I worked with children who had special educational needs, which was so rewarding and gave me so much knowledge, also. I have seen so much while working in the early years sector and can say it’s the most rewarding job. As much as parents watch their little ones grow, we also watch them grow, and every day is so different. Having my own son has also made me relate to a lot of parents and understand their needs and requests. I love to keep an open-door policy within my nursery. I welcome all children and parents to Earlham Grove, and I can’t wait to see all the children prosper in their early stages of life.
