Since starting at the nursery, I've seen such wonderful progress in our son's communication skills and confidence. The baby room practitioners deserve special recognition for the love, patience, and care they show every day. It's clear that they genuinely value each child and work hard to create a nurturing and stimulating environment.
I am especially happy with his primary carers and all the staff who look after him. We feel truly comforted knowing that he is being cared for, well-fed, and loved in our absence. The smile on his face and the excitement he shows when he sees his key worker say it all - he feels safe, happy and secure.
My child’s time at nursery is coming to an end and I could not recommend this place enough. She started in baby room and despite the usual concerns a parent has, I soon got over those when I saw the amazing work the staff were doing. From settling days, I saw how the staff catered to the individual needs of the children in such a caring way. I had struggled at home to establish a routine, but the staff at Chestnut had her in a routine within the first weeks. When they gave me feedback on her day, it was so detailed you’d think she was the only child in the room. Now she’s about to leave for school, and she is a happy, confident, independent child. She loves the staff (sometimes I think more than her friends!) and has enjoyed attending every single day. The quality of the provision at this nursery is excellent and my daughter is proof of their hard work. I can not thank enough the amazing staff members and management who made this nursery a wonderful place for my daughter.
My son has had the time of his life at Chestnut Nursery School @ Sue Bramley! The staff are very accommodating. They have helped with my son's eating and supported his growth. I've seen a huge change in his confidence and I enjoy receiving the daily feedback from the staff. It's like one big happy family!
I am pleased with the care my child receives. He always comes out happy, staff are all friendly and always give me feedback about his day. My child will stay in Chestnut Nursery School until he goes to reception. Office staff are also amazing.
My son goes there two days a week and has the best time! He's learning to communicate better and learning to share and interact with other children. The staff are always friendly when I call for an update on his day. Great care for my son!
Sue Bramley provides the best care for my children. They feel safe and secure and have made amazing bonds with all adults across the provision and classes. Adults communicate effectively and make you feel welcome.
My daughter had a big change as her brother had just gone to big school. She didn't want to go to the nursery. I spoke with the manager and came up with a solution for her to enjoy nursery again, which she does.
Wonderful nursery for the little one, can see changes to the behaviour (good) and he started speaking a few words as well. He now loves going to school in the morning. Just one thing is charging on sick days, there is no option to re-schedule or refund as per their policy.
We started sending our son to this nursery in December 2017 and in the last 10 months we have been really pleased with the nursery; the staff are always really pleasant and give us updates on his day when we collect him, the facilities are really good and looked after and they use the Parent Zone app to update us on his meals/naps/activities etc. Furthermore, our son had to have a major operation in March 2018 and they were great at accommodating a long period of time off and helping me to settle back in when he returned. Overall I couldn't be happier with the nursery.
My daughter adores going to Chestnut Nursery and is excited to go on a daily basis. She is so settled and has achieved so much. The staff are always polite and smiling and will deal with any issues that are raised. The staff supported myself with toilet training, my little one is now independent and confident to go on her own. I am updated regularly with events, dates and relevant information. My daughter's key worker is constantly communicating with me. I couldn't wish for a better first start to my daughter's education. Very happy parent.
My baby enjoys this place and I am happy too.
