Overall Experience

My daughter graduated from Tops Copnor in August 2025 after attending for 2 years. I have nothing but positive things to say about the whole team. We came to Tops Copnor after a very negative experience elsewhere which knocked my little girls confidence. The team were so wonderful, she settled perfectly

and they renewed our trust as parents.
We knew each day she attended she would be surrounded by incredibly caring staff who kept her entertained and learning from the moment we dropped her off right to pick up. She had so many fabulous experiences from cooking school and forest school too trying such a wide range of wonderful foods on the menu. She came home with new words, songs and knowledge every day and genuinely thrived in their care.
My daughter left and started primary this year and even now she still asks when she can go and visit. There aren't enough words to express how much we appreciate and highly reccomend Jenny and the whole team at Tops!

Overall Experience

Lymington is such a warm, friendly and caring setting. It really feels like our daughter is part of a community which is a wonderful feeling! All staff members really feel like family and our daughter has absolutely thrived within this setting and loves being there. Every day there are new and exciting

activities for her to gain new learning experiences. We will all be sad when it's her time to go to school!

Overall Experience

My daughter has been attending here since she was 14m old (she's almost 4 now and has graduated from the nursery)
I have only seen positive outcomes from this nursery, they provide a nurturing and engaging atmosphere for the children, they have supported and encouraged my daughter's confidence, inquisitive

mind, and growth throughout her time there and she has absolutely thrived!
The food is healthy and delicious which follows on from what she has at home
They are a sustainable nursery which has taught my daughter great skills to protect the world she is growing up in with minimal waste.
The staff are all friendly and so supportive of the children and parents
My daughter will miss attending here and we are sad that her journey of nursery has ended!
Highly recommend!

Overall Experience

Our son has been attending Tops for a few months now, and from our very first contact, the team has been incredibly professional and supportive. Since he started, we've noticed such positive changes in him-he's flourishing and quickly picking up skills and knowledge that he previously lacked. He always

seems so happy while he's there and frequently asks to go back!

The entire team is very welcoming, not just to the children but to our whole family. They take the time to listen to us as parents and are always available for a chat and updates during pick-up time. During a challenging period in my life, they showed such understanding and compassion, which I truly appreciated.

I feel very at ease knowing that my child is in their care. The staff are attentive, caring, and patient with the children, and it gives me great comfort to leave him with such a wonderful team!

Overall Experience

This review has been long overdue-I've been meaning to write it for a while now! Our daughter joined the nursery in January 2025 when she was just 14 months old. Honestly, I was quite anxious about the whole thing.
However, all my worries quickly faded. From the very beginning, I noticed such a positive

change in her. She comes home from nursery full of energy, so cheerful, talkative, and active. Her little happy dance and the songs she sings after each session just melt our hearts-it's the sweetest sight!
A massive thank you to everyone involved in her care. It's clear how loved and well-looked-after she is, and we really appreciate all the effort that goes into making her day so enjoyable. A special shout-out to the team for sharing regular photo updates-I eagerly wait for those every time (I'll admit, I'm always very curious to see what she's up to)!

My little boy loves going to nursery. He has been there for nearly 3 years and they have been supportive and caring each stage of development. Offering useful hints and tips when asked, or putting my mind at rest when worried(currently fussy eating). I love the food menu offered and how it caters for

dietary needs. Communication is great and really love getting photos to see what he's up to. Including updates on all the activities they have been up to each week.

Tops Day Nurseries: Portsmouth Nursery has a great regular team, most of the staff have been there since my first attended 4 years ago. One of my children is in preschool 3 and they are just great, when your little girl refers to her care provider as her 'bestie' this just shows the relationships and

bonds they create. One member of staff is great with the arts and crafts and producing great activities with forest school, and what I appreciate the most is that he uploads observations all the time, providing me with some insight as to what she gets up to each day. Their handovers are always fantastic I especially like handovers he is always very enthusiastic and you can tell he loves his job. All staff are friendly and provide a warm welcome to my daughter at every drop-off. I can't thank them enough and highly recommend Tops Portsmouth to any one who asks.
The addition of cooking school is a lovely touch, that my daughter looks forward to every week.

Overall Experience

My daughter loves going to nursery. She has formed a wonderful relationship with the team as have we as the parents. We feel well informed when we pick her up. I love the updates/photos we get. I always look forward to the photos and seeing what she has been up to.
The team offer lovely learning opportunities

for the children and I feel my daughter has learnt a lot with them in the short time she been attending (4 months at the time of writing). Seeing her progression with the assessments and reports helps me know what milestones to support my daughter with.
My daughter is a real foodie and the meal choices seem to be appreciated by her. The nursery opens at 7am supporting working parents.
The office staff are also very helpful and friendly. They helped me with my paper work to get the working parent funds. They are patient and made me feel comfortable to ask questions.
Thank you for all the hard work you put in to make my daughters experience at nursery a positive one.

I have had my little boy with Tops at Winchester for over two years now where he will stay until he starts school next year. Due to my overall experience, I have no nervousness or anxiety about my little girl starting there soon. I honestly cannot fault any of the wonderful staff there. They are so

personable, friendly and helpful. My little boy has made so many close relationships with all of his key workers in each setting and has developed his knowledge and skills beyond my expectations. He comes home from pre-school with a full tummy and lots to say about his day. Staff go above and beyond to help with anything and nothing is too much. Handovers are always really informative with feedback on what he has been up to for the day. We have had lots of help with listening skills and other personal developmental steps too. I would definitely recommend this nursery to anyone! Thank you all.

Management and the team have been brilliant. Our daughter started nursery in September and is thoroughly enjoying it, and really beams at management and the team on arrival. I cannot recommend the team enough. Tops is professional, providing sufficient updates throughout the day and a helpful report

My daughter has been with Lakeside since she was 6 months old. She is now 17 months and she absolutely loves nursery. She has excellent key workers. Even when my daughter cries when she arrives it takes the team a minute or two to settle her before I get fun photos of her throughout the day. The team

always notifies us if my child is not 100% and reassures me when I'm not 100% about leaving her. I can't thank the team enough for taking great care of my daughter. I would certainly recommend Tops to anyone in the area.

Overall Experience

I encountered many issues at this nursery, and I'm really glad I decided to transfer my daughter. Since making the switch, her behavior has improved significantly, and she's much happier and learning a lot. Unfortunately, this nursery felt barely like a babysitting environment more than anything else.
Also,

I was paying a fortune for nothing in return, now I am paying literally half the amount in her new nursery which is now very much attached to it's teachers.
