My child has an amazing time at this nursery which is absolutely the main thing the staff are brilliant and know what he likes to do and are very supportive, the only slight thing for myself has been the administrative process from time to time, wrong hours planned. There were times were it was escalated
to the manager as it was not dealt with.
That said the last 2 queries were dealt with within 12 hours so potentially this has been resolved.
. Otherwise it's been a great nursery, I'm still glad he goes there but it's only fair to be honest in a review.

They have accepted my child with additional needs with open arms, learning his diagnoses and haloing us to navigate through his early years. All the staff are lovely and well informed. They have gone above and beyond for us all in emergencies and through the EHCP processes, along with funding options
also. Our child is and has always been included as much as possible with the different activities throughout the day and he just has the most amazing and fun days.

Tops has always been a lovely setting which we have used for all our children. The staff are lovely and my daughter has a great time doing lots of activities. The space and building is stunning and it is a well resourced provision. We would recommend this setting.

I wouldn't hesitate to reccomend Tops Lymington. Our little boy has the best time there. The team couldn't be more helpful or caring. The environment both inside and ouside promotes learning through play and it's great that the age groups have a chance to mix when in the garden. There are also lots
of lovely activities, reading and songs. Our baby girl will be starting in Spring.

We have had a wonderful experience with this nursery. The staff are incredibly caring, kind, and always very informative. They offer a wide range of activities that really support learning and development, and it's clear how much thought goes into each day. Both of our children have attended since 2023
and 2025, and they have been happy, settled, and thriving. We feel very confident leaving our children in such a nurturing and supportive environment and would highly recommend this nursery to other families.

My son has been attending Tops Day Nursery in Winchester since he was 8 months old, he started in the Explorers Room and is now 3 and in Pre-School. He absolutely loves his time there and has made such progress with so many things. I as a Mother have felt supported as well as feeling my son is very
supported. His needs are always met and the staff really take the time to recognise what his likes and dislikes are. I believe this massively helps with his development as they extend his learning through play and help him work through his 'big' emotions :)
Honestly don't know where I'd be without them!

My daughter graduated from Tops Copnor in August 2025 after attending for 2 years. I have nothing but positive things to say about the whole team. We came to Tops Copnor after a very negative experience elsewhere which knocked my little girls confidence. The team were so wonderful, she settled perfectly
and they renewed our trust as parents.
We knew each day she attended she would be surrounded by incredibly caring staff who kept her entertained and learning from the moment we dropped her off right to pick up. She had so many fabulous experiences from cooking school and forest school too trying such a wide range of wonderful foods on the menu. She came home with new words, songs and knowledge every day and genuinely thrived in their care.
My daughter left and started primary this year and even now she still asks when she can go and visit. There aren't enough words to express how much we appreciate and highly reccomend Jenny and the whole team at Tops!

Both our children have been through Tops Lymington from babies to preschool and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. They've both really enjoyed their time there and have made lovely friends. The staff are all friendly and engaged and everything is well managed with good communication. As a busy working
parent I find they understand my needs and always try to be accommodating with all the logistics, which I have found invaluable.

Lymington is such a warm, friendly and caring setting. It really feels like our daughter is part of a community which is a wonderful feeling! All staff members really feel like family and our daughter has absolutely thrived within this setting and loves being there. Every day there are new and exciting

My daughter has been attending here since she was 14m old (she's almost 4 now and has graduated from the nursery)
I have only seen positive outcomes from this nursery, they provide a nurturing and engaging atmosphere for the children, they have supported and encouraged my daughter's confidence, inquisitive
mind, and growth throughout her time there and she has absolutely thrived!
The food is healthy and delicious which follows on from what she has at home
They are a sustainable nursery which has taught my daughter great skills to protect the world she is growing up in with minimal waste.
The staff are all friendly and so supportive of the children and parents
My daughter will miss attending here and we are sad that her journey of nursery has ended!
Highly recommend!

Our son has been attending Tops for a few months now, and from our very first contact, the team has been incredibly professional and supportive. Since he started, we've noticed such positive changes in him-he's flourishing and quickly picking up skills and knowledge that he previously lacked. He always
seems so happy while he's there and frequently asks to go back!


The entire team is very welcoming, not just to the children but to our whole family. They take the time to listen to us as parents and are always available for a chat and updates during pick-up time. During a challenging period in my life, they showed such understanding and compassion, which I truly appreciated.


I feel very at ease knowing that my child is in their care. The staff are attentive, caring, and patient with the children, and it gives me great comfort to leave him with such a wonderful team!

change in her. She comes home from nursery full of energy, so cheerful, talkative, and active. Her little happy dance and the songs she sings after each session just melt our hearts-it's the sweetest sight!
A massive thank you to everyone involved in her care. It's clear how loved and well-looked-after she is, and we really appreciate all the effort that goes into making her day so enjoyable. My little boy loves going to nursery. He has been there for nearly 3 years and they have been supportive and caring each stage of development. Offering useful hints and tips when asked, or putting my mind at rest when worried(currently fussy eating). I love the food menu offered and how it caters for
dietary needs. Communication is great and really love getting photos to see what he's up to. Including updates on all the activities they have been up to each week.

My 2year old started in January this year and he absolutely loves it the staff are amazing and the care they give the children is amazing I wouldn't send my child anywhere else he's learning has been brilliant.

Lovely staff, all super friendly. My son is happy to go every day. He especially enjoys Forest School run by a man who is awesome. Booking is always quick and easy and last-minute discount bookings are a real lifesaver.

My son started at Tops Day Nurseries: Portsmouth Nursery at 10 months old. The staff are all so caring and he loves going every day. He's learned so much and eats so well. I know he's in good hands and feel so informed by staff on what's happening when he's there. They take the time to talk to you and
share pictures. I couldn't imagine him going anywhere else!
