Tynemouth Nursery at Billy Mill

My daughter absolutely loves this nursery and I feel happy going to work knowing she is well looked after.

Tynemouth Nursery has been fantastic for my son and daughter. My daughter loves the staff and has developed her social skills and confidence through her days there. The staff are so friendly and nothing is too much. They have put us at ease leaving our children and all seem to genuinely care about our children.

This nursery is amazing, what more can I say.

Tynemouth Nursery have been brilliant for my son. He loves going to nursery and they have brought him on massively. He especially likes his trip to the coffee shop.

Our daughter has been at the Billy Mill branch of Tynemouth Nursery since January 2022 and we could not be more happy. She settled quickly and supported by the wonderful staff, has progressed really well. We know she is in a safe and supportive environment while we're at work and get regular updates during the day via the nursery app. She really enjoys her time there and I would not hesitate in recommending this nursery to other parents.

Our two boys started going to Billy Mill Tynemouth Nursery this summer and they really enjoy it. We had just recently moved to the North East, so we were a bit unsure how well and quickly our kids will settle in at nursery after this big change. However, we were very pleased to learn that the nursery really gives every child and parent, the time they need to settle in. The nursery offers great activities and trips, such as a pumpkin farm trip for Halloween, and is very flexible regarding booking patterns, which is very important for us. From the beginning on we really liked the homely feeling of the nursery and we would definitely recommend it to other parents.

I can't praise this nursery enough! My niece has been attending the nursery since she was 1 year old and has grown so much in her confidence. She is now in the butterfly room and has made so many good relationships with children and staff, as the staff always go above and beyond for the children. She is always very excited to go to nursery when I have dropped her off a few times and sad to leave when I have picked her up! She likes to tell me everything she has done, from the fun, exciting activities the staff plan for the children. They now have a face recognition system for the security of the nursery which is a fab idea! Also, the food sounds amazing to. Thank you Tynemouth nursery at Billy Mill.

My son has been going here for over 10 months and I couldn't fault it one bit. All the staff are lovely and the daily communication is great, I can see from work what he's been getting up to which is fab, they have brought him on so much. He absolutely loves it.

I have three children at the nursery and we are very happy with it. In particular, all of the staff are always very friendly and greet and say goodbye to my children, not just the staff in their room. My children's additional health needs are well looked after and the chef makes allergy-friendly versions of all meals for them. Of all the nurseries and childminders I spoke to and visited, this setting was the most confident and willing to meet extra needs. There is also a good range of extra activities brought in by external providers. The communication with parents is very well organised. My children are happy to go in in the mornings.

Since my son has started at Tynemouth Nursery at Billy Mill. I have felt so much more reassured and confident that he is well looked after while I'm working. All the girls here have been absolutely amazing, not only with my son, but with supporting myself also. I can't express how grateful I am to all the staff, especially two in particular, for always keeping me updated and reassuring me, and helping my son become the most amazing little boy and having such a big part in his development! The nursery is absolutely immaculate, with so much to offer inside and out! With regular updates on the app, I know my boy is always having the best time and I'm able to check on his day-to-day activities! I can't recommend this nursery enough!

Tynemouth Nursery at Billy Mill is a fantastic nursery, run by a lovely and caring staff. They are extremely flexible and understanding and both of our kids have been so happy to attend. Couldn't recommend it enough!

Our experience of this nursery has been fantastic. It felt very welcoming and friendly from the moment we had an initial look around. Our little boy settled really quickly and we felt confident that he was happy and being well looked after while I was at work. He has grown in confidence and developed lots of new skills since joining; he’s absolutely thriving. For me, a big plus point for this nursery is the online app which keeps you updated on your child’s progress. It’s the first thing I check on my lunch break and I love to see what my little one has been up to during the day. It is also updated regularly by his key worker with observations of any milestones or skills which have been developed. I couldn’t rate the nursery highly enough and have already recommended it to friends.

After trying other nurseries, I can honestly say I have never been happier to have my son go to Billy Mill. He struggled to settle and all the staff were amazing. They always make each day unique and communication is spot on. The manager is very responsive to emails with enquiries and accommodating with hours. I love the bond my son has with the staff and he is also very fond of the chef. They are all a credit to the nursery.

All four of my children have attended the Tynemouth nursery group. From my 12-year-old to my three-year-old, who currently goes. Not only do my children love and thrive in the loving, friendly and fun environment the nursery provides, but I have also been able to drop them off there in the mornings not having to worry about them throughout the day with the reassurance that they are safe and happy and with staff who my children adore.

My two have attended this Nursery and my 2 nephews and niece also attended! My youngest child's journey comes to an end tomorrow after my two children have attended since 2019! They are a fantastic nursery, the staff are all lovely and my children had great memories here! They have made great renovations since 2019 creating such great spaces for the children and the garden is a lovely area! I would highly recommend this nursery to all. They have really given my children and my nephews and niece the most amazing start!

I am so pleased I sent my son to Tynemouth nursery. My whole experience of the nursery has been outstanding. Communications are great - the online diary to see photos and what your child has done, eaten, nappies etc keeps you in the loop. The hand over when collecting your child is great! My son's keyworker has been amazing and my son bonded with her from the off! My son has great fun and they’re always doing another activity/ theme which means each day is different!

My little boy has attended this nursery for over a year now, and I am so happy we chose it. Communication through the Parent Admin app is fantastic and photos are posted every day to keep us updated. I also really appreciate the regular updates of observations through the app, which let us know how he is progressing. Each member of staff is very welcoming and approachable and my son absolutely loves going in each day. I would highly recommend this nursery.

If I could give this nursery more than 5 stars I would. My daughter has attended since November 2020 and we absolutely love it. The staff are lovely; right down to the nursery cook, who provides a delicious and varied menu every day, to really widen your child’s culinary experience. The setting is beautiful and so well equipped for each age group, including a safe and stimulating garden area for outdoor play and learning. They even have a forest school! Mentioning the staff again; they are just brilliant! Many of them have been there for years, which, not only points to a wealth of experience but is also a massive testament to the workplace, I feel. The Early Years Foundation Stage provision is second to none and the girls are just so approachable and informative about anything and everything that’s important to you. My daughter has just had her graduation ceremony and it was amazing. From start to finish, Billy Mill is the best choice I ever made. Don't hesitate to send your child there. You won’t regret it.

Truly outstanding staff, they genuinely care for each and every child in their care. They have nurtured both my children from the age of 9 months until they left for primary school. They are a wonderful nursery and I am so so glad that we chose to send our children to Tynemouth Nursery at Billy Mill.
