Tynemouth Nursery at Billy Mill

We have had both children go through this Nursery - and we could not recommend them enough! They have gone from strength to strength over the last couple of years - our son adores the fact that they have football trainers come in and talks about it every time they have been in. The staff are amazing and have built great relationships with the children. The flexibility that the nursery offers was the main reason that we chose the nursery, as it was the only nursery who offered us this. However, we are so glad for this because we wouldn’t change, ever!

We love the nursery and my daughter really enjoys her time there. They do regular stimulating activities and we are given daily updates using an app. The staff are all friendly and accommodating. They really go the extra mile. I have no doubt that my daughter receives the best care.

My son has come to this nursery since December 2019 when he was 8 months old. He loves it and we love it. The staff are amazing with him. I will be gutted when his time to leave comes. Fab team and fab nursery.

My little boy has attended Tynemouth Nursery at Billy Mill for the last year. The staff are always so helpful, in fact, I would say they go out of their way to be ultra helpful! The staff are fantastic with my son, all the activities planned are fantastic and he loves going so much. Thanks for being the best!

My son has been attending the nursery since he was 10 months old (he's nearly four now) and absolutely loves it. Initially, he attended one day a week but now goes three times a week and although he was very quiet at nursery and quite shy, according to his key workers (I knew this was only the case at nursery as he wasn't like this at home!) he has come on leaps and bounds with regards to confidence and language skills, talking etc. I put this down to all of the wonderful staff who are so engaging, kind, caring and just all round good, lovely people. My little boy starts school in September and we will all miss nursery, my little boy particularly. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this nursery to anyone, the staff are second to none and all do a brilliant job.

We have been using Tynemouth Nursery for over three years, sending both our children there. The provision is fantastic. My children have thrived and genuinely love the staff. It is clear this is a two-way sentiment and the staff truly care for the children too. The extra-curricular opportunities are brilliant. Recently, they went pumpkin picking and my child has not stopped talking about it. There is a great focus and awareness of many cultures too, with the children celebrating lots of international festivals.

My son has been attending Billy Mill for just over a year now and he’s in preschool preparing for school in September! He’s always so excited to be at nursery and full of chatter about his day on his way home, he literally doesn’t stop talking until bedtime! The staff in the room are just amazing with him and he really looks up to them and idolises them! It does not matter who is on the door in the morning, he is so happy to see everyone no matter who it is and I can tell by their interaction with him and the way he responds; just how cared for and how well they get to know him even if they aren’t based in his room! He always tells me what he’s had to eat in a day and always gets extra if he wants it and says the food is yummy! He’s made some great friendships with the other children in his room which is lovely to see but I especially love that he’s 100% encouraged to be utterly himself, roars and all! Thank you to you all for being so kind, caring and nurturing towards him!!

My daughter has been at Tynemouth Nursery, Billy Mill from being 6 months old and she is now in the Preschool room. She enjoys her time at the nursery and has made her first best friend. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and place the wellbeing of the children at the core of everything they do, down to the amazing activities provided on a daily basis to all of the extracurricular activities they do with the children like tennis, football, French and music lessons and all the great outings they take them on (pumpkin picking had to be my daughters favourite.) If you want your child to have the best possible start in life, Tynemouth Nursery, Billy Mill will definitely give your child all of the opportunities to do this and I could not recommend this nursery enough to anyone who is looking for an outstanding nursery for their children. I have picked my Granddaughter up from nursery a few times and every time the staff are really friendly and always ask for my security password and ID at the door. I think is really good and puts my mind as ease as a grandparent to know my granddaughter is safe when she is at nursery. She always comes back with lots of stories of what she has been learning about and the great activities she has done that day her favourite is painting and playing in the sand looking for dinosaurs. My daughter says this is the best nursery and would not put her children anywhere else.

I sometimes collect my granddaughter from Tynemouth nursery Billy Mill and the staff are always very helpful to point me in the right direction and have all of my granddaughter's stuff ready so I don't forget anything. On the car ride home, I always get told what she has had for dinner and that the nursery make the best dinners (don't tell Grandma) and all about how she loves playing outside in the forest garden with her friends and teachers, the nursery sounds great and my granddaughter is always very happy when she comes out after being there for the day.

I put my first son in this nursery 3 years ago and I feel as though it's the best decision me and my partner have made. He is thriving and it's all down to the amazing staff. My second son has recently started in the baby room and I can't thank the staff enough for settling him in. Totally recommend this nursery!

Well, where do I start! Tynemouth Nursery is an amazing place to send your children. My older son went here from 2-years-old and loved it. It's fabulous how much effort and support the nursery staff and management put into the children. Now my little girl goes once a week, which I was very nervous about as she has mostly been with me since being born with her dad working full-time, but the first day she started, it was like she has been there ages. They do a daily log, which puts me at ease whilst at work.

My son started Tynemouth Nursery Billy Mill in September and after not being in that sort of environment because of lockdown I was very hesitant on how he would be. They have been very accommodating and extremely comforting to him to help him settle into the nursery. I love how they keep me updated on how he is when at nursery through his dairy and allow him to enjoy things at his own pace. The staff are a great asset to this nursery, thank you for everything.

The staff were so friendly and helpful when I arrived to pick up my grandchild from nursery. The communication also was great on what kind of day she has had as all the information went to her parents. As it was my first time picking her up and the staff didn't know me, they asked for my ID and my password to collect her which was brilliant.

I am absolutely over the moon with the progress of my child at nursery. The nursery staff have helped her settle in brilliantly. I am very happy with the nursery and all of the amazing activities that are provided.

Lovely staff and very good with the children. Very helpful and attentive with any queries or problems and always put the children first. I had twin boys attend here and would highly recommend this nursery to anyone. They have animals come in and a learning book so you can check on your children's progress. Well done guys you work hard and love your jobs obviously. My boys loved it there - regards and best wishes.

My child loves Billy Mill, what more can be said. That's the best review of all. He's excited to go in the morning often carrying his school bag around in absolute joy. I'd like to be added to the email list so I get to see what he's been up to during the day but beyond that, we're extremely satisfied.

I sometimes collect my granddaughter and I’m greeted by lovely staff. They are friendly, polite, and have a passion for looking after children. The security is really good with passcode entry which is changed regularly. My granddaughter loves going to see her friends too.

Having just moved to the area we checked out a few local nurseries. Due to Covid restrictions there were limits on visits and previewing nurseries. However, (following strict guidelines) we did manage to view a couple. At the rainbow coloured house (aptly named by my son) we were highly impressed with the separate children's areas, variety of toys and activities (including football with 'little kickers', experiencing chicks hatch and celebrating relevant current events e.g. Queens birthday, Euros Football etc). The staff were very attentive and helpful (being an awkward parent, I had numerous requests) nothing was ever an issue, even when I needed to change my son's attending hours. Always met with a smiling, friendly face at the door when dropping off and collecting my son, staff provided accurate and relevant information every time. I felt well informed and was kept updated on my son's activities in several forms accessed online. I have no qualms about recommending Tynemouth Nursery, Billy Mill.
