My daughter has been at Nature Trails for almost 2 months and I could not be happier. It’s an outstanding nursery and she has thrived whilst there and watching her develop further has been brilliant. The bond between her and her key worker is beautiful and something which makes her look forward to nursery
even more. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second in recommending the nursery, it’s a fantastic place for little ones to grow!

My son started at Nature Trails when he was two years old. I have seen so much growth in him since. He has become so confident in himself. He absolutely loves his nursery days and appreciates all the staff. Despite the pandemic, the staff have held very high standards of care and professionalism. They
have shown undeniable support towards the children and us as parents. The best decision we ever made joining the nursery as Nature Trails lives up to its reputation.

My daughter joined the nursery at around nine months old. The staff were all great and really good at settling us. Fantastic nursery with great staff who really care. My daughter really enjoys her days at nursery and goes running in every morning.

My daughter was two years old when she began attending the nursery in August 2020. We had recently made an international move and this was my daughter's first experience of daycare and also a British nursery. She has thrived and now attends full-time daycare. Some of the benefits we have noticed are
that her speech, counting skills and general exuberance for life have increased no end since attending nursery. It is lovely to know she is in a safe, clean and lovely setting. A massive well done to the member of staff who looks after her in Bumblebees 2. We are incredibly happy with our decision.

I’ve had a very positive experience with the nursery and my son is thriving in his group, his key workers are brilliant with him. The staff are polite and helpful and put my mind at ease about any concerns I have, especially given the times. Thank you Nature Trails Day Nursery!

We're so thrilled we selected Nature Trails Day Nursery for our son's nursery. He has attended since October 2020 and since day one, we've always felt we made the right decision. His key worker is amazing and went above and beyond to help our little one settle in. As a result, he has come on leaps and
bounds in terms of his development. One of the deciding factors in our decision was the fact that all the food is freshly prepared, unlike other nurseries in the area which have a third party provide catering services. We highly recommend Nature Trails Day Nursery!

My daughter is in her second month following our move to the area and I can wholeheartedly say I am pleased with the care being provided. My only regret is not having booked a place in preschool earlier, prior to our move. She loves the nursery, she is happy there and has made lots of new lovely friends.
Her key worker is also superb and I am grateful to all who care for her on the days she attends nursery. The community spirit is also very commendable as well as the enthusiasm of staff to want to help parents as much as they possibly can.

Nature Trails Day Nursery is a great nursery. My son has been attending since he turned one and he absolutely loves it. The staff are friendly, attentive and caring. The facilities are high quality with great outdoor spaces, lots of wooden toys and an in house chef. They use an app to keep you updated
daily with photos and information on what your little one has been up to which has been good. I am so grateful to have such a lovely nursery just down the road. I highly recommend Nature Trails Day Nursery!

My daughter has attended Nature Trails Day Nursery since she was ten months old. From the moment she joined, the staff have made every effort to make her feel settled and me feel confident in her care. There is excellent communication, friendly staff and a wide range of facilities. It’s a beautifully
presented nursery and they engage the children in a wide range of activities. My daughter loves the meal choices and is always happy to go in each morning. In short, I thoroughly recommend this nursery and I’m so happy my daughter attends Nature Trails Day Nursery.

My daughter started going to nature trails in September 2020. We were naturally quite apprehensive about her settling in however, the nursery staff were very welcoming and courteous with all our questions and requests. My little one has settled in very well. She got quite attached to her first key worker
which was a very good sign. We look forward to the regular pictures and updates that are put on the parents' app. The nursery is adhering to a (Covid) safe pick and drop scheme. Overall we couldn't be happier with Nature Trails.

Nature trails is such a lovely nursery from the farmhouse style of the building, lovely wooden cabin outside preschool classroom, great outside play areas, forest school, linked working farm, growing their own vegetables, in house chef and just really happy children and caring, attentive staff. An online
system for great communication. My little boy absolutely loves it and loves going and is always so excited. He has come on a lot with his speech and communication and general skills from attending here.

Nature Trails is a wonderful nursery in Rugby, close to the edges of Cawston.
Its location means that is surrounded by farmland and woodland, meaning lots of trails and places for the children to have supervised adventures.
The location also means that their plot of land is extremely big, with lots
of play areas outdoors.
The staff are wonderful, really friendly and my boy has always been excited to go and see both the other children and his key workers.
The food is proper, cooked food prepared on-site by their own chefs, not bought in and microwaved meals.
They use the ParentZone app to send you photos of your child during the day with updates on what they have been doing, or what new skill they may have displayed.
This is great for giving reassurance that your child is being properly entertained and they are helping them develop new skills.
It's a lovely nursery and my child will definitely be there until he starts school.

My son joined the Nursery in the ladybird room in Sept ’20 when he was 15 months. We have seen a remarkable change in his social skills. Due to lockdown, he hadn’t had much interaction with adults or children other than us (his parents ). He settled in well after his first month and he has transformed
into a little social butterfly. Chatty and ever ready to greet new faces when previously he would wail at the sight of a new face. I tremendously appreciate the effort of the Nursery staff to get to know him and us too. Would highly recommend this Nursery.

Sending my boys to Nature Trails is by far the best decision I have ever made. There isn't another setting on this scale that is so well run, maintained and offers so much to the children. The staff are always happy and friendly too. Our boys have been there for just over 12 months, and watching how
much they have learnt and grown has been phenomenal! I couldn't speak highly enough of Nature Trails, and you only have to go and view the setting to see how much they put into the children.

My little one started nursery in September 2020 when she had just turned 1.
I had all sorts of fear as to how she is going to settle and about her routine etc, I can't even tell how relieved I was during the settling in sessions and through the initial sessions. I must say, my little one's key worker
is amazing, she has not only looked after my little one well but has given me a sense of relief that my little one is safe and she enjoys her time in the nursery.
Overall, the nursery staff and managers are very well aware of your child's needs etc, which gives you a sense that they are all working as a team.
My little one's transition to another room was great too, again she settled in very well, and her new key worker is amazing and is looking after her really well.
I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone!

My son has been attending Nature Trails for coming up to six months, and he loves it. The staff very clearly care a great deal about the children under their charge and it shows with each child who goes over to their key worker with a smile in the morning. The nursery has always been good when it comes
to providing updates throughout the day on their app, and all meals, nap times, and nappy changes are logged too. You get your child back at the end of the day knowing full well how he has been and what he has been up to. It's very reassuring, especially during these times when a young baby or child may have never been in anybody else's care but their parents.
I would also like to note how exceptional their Covid procedures have been. Not once have I been led to question whether or not they put their children and their staff's safety first. I would definitely recommend Nature Trails as a safe and sanitary childcare environment.

Nature Trails is an excellent nursery. My child started at 6-months (now 18-months) and from day one, the staff have been so understanding, nurturing and supportive. The staff (including management and administration) are so friendly and welcoming. I visited the nursery 3-times before confirming, not
because I was concerned, but because my child was 6-months. They were totally accommodating, patient and receptive to everything. The nursery workers clearly enjoy and are very good at what they do, developing good relationships with children and an abundance of activity. My child loves going to nursery and leaps into her keyworkers arms - so reassuring, warming and clearly reflective of her time there. They monitor development, provide updates and photos, and good handovers that reassure us as parents - even during this hard time. I am confident in safety measures and communications re Covid. Selecting the right nursery is a very individual choice, but I can’t rate Nature Trails highly enough.

My little girl has been at Nature Trails since she was 9-months-old. She is now 4 and thriving in preschool.
I would highly recommend anyone to bring their child to this warm, welcoming and an excellent day nursery. The staff are wonderful and always have the child's interests at heart. Everything
is done not to disrupt them during room transitions, the menus are nutritious, and the management is excellent.
The work done over the Covid 19 pandemic has been brilliant as well. Communication with parents is second to none, and I have confidence that my child is safe.

Vicky Stancer

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2006

Vicky is the Manager of Nature Trails Day Nursery in Cawston and has a wealth of experience, having worked in the early years sector since 1997. Vicky has a number of qualifications, including a BA (Hons) in Early Years and Early Years Professional Status. Nature Trails has been part of Childbase Partnership since 2018, yet Vicky has worked at the setting since 2006.


What is your favourite feature of Nature Trails?
My favourite features of the nursery are not only the extensive outdoor space we have to offer but also that we have been able to maintain the personal touch and family feel that Nature Trails has always had.


What are you most proud of about your nursery/team?
I am most proud of how the nursery has grown and become a part of the Childbase family and that our colleagues take such pride in their work and the company ethos.
