My son has been at nature trails for over two years now and loves coming to nursery each day. He's always in a rush to get to his room. He's has built strong bonds with all the staff in all of the rooms he's been in. There's always lovely activities out that peak his interest and keeps him engaged.
The outdoor spaces are amazing and well kept too. My son loves the food he has at nursery and always eats well.

My son is currently at the setting. He is thriving. He has the most amazing bonds with all the adults involved with his care and he has great friendships with the peers in his room. I love the nursery and have picked the best place for my son to learn and develop in all areas.

My son loves his time at nursery and all of the girls in his room are amazing with him and he gets excited to see them. They have really helped him to settle in.
My son eats most of his meals and he always seems to have a great variety of food. He sleeps well at nursery too which shows that he is
comfortable there.
My son comes home with artwork that he has created which is lovely.
Each day when I pick him up, the girls in his room always give me a thorough handover of what he has been doing which is great to know all about his day when I have been missing him at work.

Our child has attended Nature Trails from 9 months old through preschool. Has always been a lovely nurturing environment. Any issues or concerns are always listened to and addressed.
Could do with a few more updates on the app, multiple updates a day when they are babies but drops to once a week or
every other week by preschool. Staff are always happy to discuss child's day/progress at pick up and drop off.
Overall a lovely environment, which encourages children to learn, play and grow their confidence and independence.

Our twin daughter's have thrived at Nature Trails. They have benefitted from consistently excellent care and support throughout the phases, tailored to meet their development needs. As parents, we have enjoyed strong relationships, with staff who have always been clear, approachable and supportive.

I have been very pleased with the level of care, professionalism and services Nature Trails has provided for both my children over the years. Providing fun and educational activities in a warm and inviting facility, also with the outdoor spaces available (weather permitting) children are able to learn
outdoors. All these factors establish a keystone in a child's overall development for the future.
My eldest attended Nature Trails 2020-2022 and is still greeted like she never left, interacting with staff when collecting her younger sister today. Highly recommended.

Over the moon with the care my daughter has had since joining Bumbeblees two. I was very anxious for her to start nursery but they have been nothing but reassuring to both me and my daughter. Her key person has been amazing and my daughter now asks to come and see her. The nursery has also met all of
her complex dietary needs which is a huge relief.

Overall excellent nursery.
I recommend this nursery, best teacher/mentor joyful people, always smiling. They have set curricular from year 1 to year 4, they prepare kids and make it very easy for them to adjust in school.

Whilst it is still very early days for our child to be at the nursery, we’d like to take the opportunity to say thank You to all of the staff, as so far everyone has been great, from the very beginning with the introductory meeting and settling in sessions, right up to now, we couldn't have felt any
more welcome.


Now that our child has started, they predominantly spend their time with nursery ladies, who have both been absolutely wonderful. They’ve taken the time to get to know our little ones, to create a welcoming and settling environment for them, and to make sure we as parents are kept fully informed with updates both via the app and also upon each collection, which really puts our minds at ease, so a particularly special mention and extended thank you, to both of those!

My daughter has only been attending for one month but I’m so impressed with everything so far. Each member of the team has made us feel so welcome and genuinely takes an interest in my baby’s progress which is a real comfort.
The team has gone above and beyond to ensure our routine is carried out
each day and in a really supportive way. I couldn’t be happier with our choice of nursery and would recommend it to anyone considering it.

An amazing nursery that we couldn't be happier we chose for our children. Our two girls have flourished under the nurturing care given by the staff and we couldn't recommend it highly enough. If you can you should send your children here! Our eldest has just left to go to school having spent her entire
nursery time here. She has been cared for as an individual throughout. She has thrived and is ready to start school, all thanks to the staff at Nature Trails.

This is the second time round we have used Nature trails with our children. All of the staff and team are lovely and very caring. They support the children so well and genuinely care for them. My son has come on leaps and bounds since starting there and would like to go every day if he could.

Both children attended this nursery and we always had great support for our eldest before he left for school. The staff were very friendly and helpful and both our kids loved it when they were there.
The only slight feedback I would have would be towards the inconsistency of child updates and the
car park being a nightmare.

My daughter has been going to Nature Trails since she was nine months old and it never ceases to amaze me how brilliant the staff are. They are friendly, polite and go above and beyond for the kids.
The development I have seen since my daughter started is wonderful. She often talks about her key workers
at home and has a big grin on her face when she does so.
All in all, a wonderful place to be for babies and children alike.
I cannot recommend them enough!

I am glad I decided to send my son to this nursery. He loves going into nursery each time even though he’s there 8am- 5:30pm which is a long day for a young child. He loves cuddling his key worker and has a lovely bond with her and a lot of the staff there. The facilities are great indoors and out.
The genuine care for the children is amazing and they are always looking at ways to support their development. My mother in law works in a primary school and says the medical care and learning reports they do are exemplary.

Great nursery. Both my kids love it there. The staff can accommodate any special requirements that children have. The kids get to do a lot of outdoor activities and are allowed to get pretty messy, which I personally think is a great thing. The only challenge I have faced is parking during drop off
and pick up.

Vicky Stancer

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2006

Vicky is the Manager of Nature Trails Day Nursery in Cawston and has a wealth of experience, having worked in the early years sector since 1997. Vicky has a number of qualifications, including a BA (Hons) in Early Years and Early Years Professional Status. Nature Trails has been part of Childbase Partnership since 2018, yet Vicky has worked at the setting since 2006.


What is your favourite feature of Nature Trails?
My favourite features of the nursery are not only the extensive outdoor space we have to offer but also that we have been able to maintain the personal touch and family feel that Nature Trails has always had.


What are you most proud of about your nursery/team?
I am most proud of how the nursery has grown and become a part of the Childbase family and that our colleagues take such pride in their work and the company ethos.
