I can not rate the entire team at Nature Trails highly enough. They have made the settling in process an absolute joy and kept us informed of everything, every step of the way. There is not a single thing I could fault the team on, they are friendly, helpful, caring and most of all are brilliant at
what they do. It is so wonderful to walk into somewhere where everyone enjoys the work they are doing.

Both my two children have been to Nature Trails and I couldn't have wanted a better experience for them both.
The high-quality individual childcare has been exemplary.
The staff have been kind, caring and above all - fun!

My son has settled very quickly after only starting in January 2019 at 19 months. This is due to all staff taking an interest and making an effort to get to know him. It's great to see and hear the activities he has taken part in. They are always well thought out and go with the children's interests
wherever possible, they are outside which my son loves. He looks forward to going now every day.

Overall the nursery is a great place compared to others in Rugby, so limited choice. Age appropriate learning, the sensory, behavioural standard is very high. Our child has come in leaps and bounds since he has started. His buddy and co-buddy always have his best interests at heart and we thank them

Nature Trails provides the children with excellent early years foundation before beginning school. They fully prepare children for the smaller, yet essential, everyday tasks like putting on their own shoes, coats and clothing, using scissors, tidying up after themselves and eating nicely. Circle time
is a key part of the children's development, promoting listening skills. They also foster an early love of reading, which is excellent.

Really happy with care provided. Key worker is excellent and our daughter is very happy here. Management/organisation feels a little disorganised, could definitely be improved. Would like to see more pictures in real time (or at least the same day) of what our daughter is getting up to. App could be

Our daughter has been at Nature Trails for just over a year from when she was 7 months old, she looks forward to going every week and we feel confident leaving her there while at work. We are happy with the care received so much so we recommended it to our family and her baby cousin now attends the

I have been using Nature Trails for over 5 years now and it has been worth every penny. Nature Trails has ensured both my children reach their potential before starting school which sets them up for success long term. My son was a challenging baby and the staff really helped me overcome these challenges.
I attend the Parents in Partnership meetings every term and it's easy to see why the nursery is such a success.

Nature Trails has exceeded our expectations and we couldn’t be happier with the care and nurturing our daughter receives. The staff are excellent, they follow the EYFS and make us as parents feel welcome and involved with our daughter's learning. Child-led activities are engaging and fun, meals are
homemade on site and lots of outdoor play is encouraged. Our daughter's key worker is brilliant and so good with her. We love hearing about her day when we come to collect her.

The experiences my children encounter at the nursery are fantastic! Learning is based on the children’s ideas which ensure that my children are thoroughly engaged and can’t wait to attend. My eldest child has made so much progress since starting nursery and now my youngest is also benefiting from the

My son had his last day at Nature Trails today and I wanted to say what a great time he has had. I even had a tear in my eye as we drove away. I am always amazed at how all the carers know his name, even those who are not in his room and everyone has been so welcoming and friendly.
The range of activities
available is fantastic, I love that they go out for forest school, and they have done an amazing job getting my son ready to start school in a few weeks. Thank you, everyone.

Vicky Stancer

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2006

Vicky is the Manager of Nature Trails Day Nursery in Cawston and has a wealth of experience, having worked in the early years sector since 1997. Vicky has a number of qualifications, including a BA (Hons) in Early Years and Early Years Professional Status. Nature Trails has been part of Childbase Partnership since 2018, yet Vicky has worked at the setting since 2006.


What is your favourite feature of Nature Trails?
My favourite features of the nursery are not only the extensive outdoor space we have to offer but also that we have been able to maintain the personal touch and family feel that Nature Trails has always had.


What are you most proud of about your nursery/team?
I am most proud of how the nursery has grown and become a part of the Childbase family and that our colleagues take such pride in their work and the company ethos.
