The variety of outdoor play areas, including two all-weather surfaced gardens and small covered verandas, ensure children are able to spend time outside no matter the weather.

Nature Trails offers a convenient service to parents, opening from 8 am to 6.00 pm Monday to Friday.

I have visited several nurseries and this one is the best by far! The minute I saw the facilities and outside space, I knew my daughter would be coming here. The staff are very friendly and professional and made sure that my daughter settled in well. After a few weeks, I’ve noticed my daughter’s vocabulary
expanded and she started showing more interest in the natural world, which I think is very important in our technological era.
Overall, she absolutely loves it here (even asks if she can come to nursery on weekends) and we are very happy with the choice we’ve made. Highly recommend!

I can’t recommend Nature Trails enough, the setting is beautiful, so much space and lovely garden space for the children, all of my little one's teachers have been incredible, so welcoming and friendly and wonderfully supportive and caring to both my child and me as a mum. The activities are varied
and really interesting and the food is diverse and offers my little one lots of different flavours to what she would have at home. If you are looking for high quality, special nursery you have found it in Nature Trails.

This is a brilliant nursery. My son wasn't settled in the first nursery and we transferred him to the childminder first followed by Nature Trails. Obviously we were a little bit apprehensive. The staff at the nursery and his key person were absolutely instrumental in him settling in and having a fantastic
time. It has been over a year since we joined Nature Trails and I wouldn’t look for a better place. The staff at the nursery are extremely professional and truly care about children. You always get a warm welcome From the nursery manager or deputy manager and the reception and you can always be sure children are busy and learning every day with some fantastic extracurricular opportunities such as going down the farm or yoga classes. The staff get constant training which is important for me as a parent. The food quality is fantastic and healthy and the location of the nursery away from busy roads and noise is excellent.

A wonderful nursery, that makes your child's happiness and development their number one priority.
The outdoor space is truly inspiring, with regular outings to the woods, taking the path past fields with cows or sheep in, the setting really is idyllic. I couldn't wish for somewhere better for my daughter
to be making friends, and starting out her early years education.

Nature Trails Day Nursery, Cawston is simply fantastic. Our daughter has been attending since she was 13-months-old and she is now 2 and a half. Her key workers are so caring and we feel reassured leaving her in their care. All of the staff are friendly and go out of their way to cater for her allergies.
I can't recommend it highly enough. An absolutely magical place with a real family orientation.

The nursery is always clean and well presented. Staff are always friendly and helpful. My daughter has progressed extremely well with her writing, letter sounds and numbers since attending. Their efforts throughout COVID-19 were flawless and I couldn't be happier with my choice of nursery.

Nature Trails is absolutely fantastic. I could not think of a better nursery to send my daughter. My son went to the same nursery and we have never had any problems. I go to work knowing she is safe and well looked after. She is so happy and the staff do not just look after her, they care about each
child in their care. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, they have acted completely responsibly and appropriately to ensure the staff, children and parents are safe whilst maintaining their incredibly high standards of care.

Nature Trails and all of the staff members could not have been better over the last few months. They have gone out of their way to assist my family in my son's transition to nursery. My son loves his key person, in the mornings when we ask him if he's going to play, he smiles back at us. The activities
that he does at nursery are brilliant and he's so much more confident having attended nature trails. I couldn't recommend them enough.

Our son started when he turned one. He is now about to leave preschool to start his next chapter in life. A total of four years at the nursery.
I cannot recommend Nature Trails highly enough!!
Every single staff member had been like a friend and treated our son with compassion, kindness and love
that has seen his early years develop into the amazing boy he is today.
The building is wonderful, the food is 1st class (I wish I could eat there) and the facilities are excellent.
A very well run and structured nursery that we have thanked our lucky stars for every day that we made the decision to take him there.
We will miss you all.

I absolutely recommend Nature Trails as a day nursery. Our daughter has gone from strength to strength, since she joined over 2 years ago. Our daughter loves going to nursery and is always excited to share with us the great things she has been up to that day.
The staff are amazing, nothing is ever
too much for them. The care and attention they give to all the children is incredible.
The setting is fantastic, with lots of open outside space and access to the woodland. The communication is great, as parents, we are always kept informed and asked for our opinions and feedback.
We are very pleased to have found such an amazing nursery!

Nature Trails is a fantastic nursery set in a great location close to woods where the children can explore and understand nature.
The staff are fantastic with the children and every day there are new activities. I am able to keep up with what my child has been doing throughout the day on a parent zone
app which shows pictures of them at play and interacting with their friends.
Every child is treated as special and looked after in the best possible way.

We have put both our children through Nature Trails now, and couldn’t be happier with the care and attention they’ve received. Nothing has been too much trouble, especially during the recent easing of restrictions. Staff and management are well trained and hugely approachable, always putting the children
first. Facilities and resources are second to none, creating a great environment for the children. The nursery has fully embraced hygiene and safeguarding guidelines set out during the pandemic, and we’ve been very impressed with how this has worked.
Would wholly recommend sending your child here.

I cannot recommend Nature Trails enough.
The staff are so welcoming and friendly, my son loves going to nursery. With the COVID-19 virus still here, the staff have made the nursery very safe by following the government guidelines and putting all measurements in place to make the nursery safe for parents
and children. My daughter is starting Nature Trails in September too, I would not put my children into a different nursery.

The nursery itself is a fun and bright environment. Since my daughter joined the nursery she has developed in so many ways. She is more confident and looks forward to going into nursery every day.

This is a fantastic, professional and very caring nursery, management keep families involved and in the loop. My little boy has always enjoyed coming to see his friends and having a great time playing and learning: the staff put so much effort in to tailoring the experience for each individual child
and setting up fun and rich learning activities for them every day. Highly recommend this nursery for your little one!

I could not be happier with the Nature Trails, our son has attended since he turned one, I cannot fault the key workers the reception staff - everything is seamless and we have had no issues at all. If we go on to have more children this is the only place I’d want them to attend. The handling of the
COVID crisis has also been great and the communication during this time has been consistent and we have been clear all along on what is happening and will be happening.

My daughter loves nursery. She cannot wait to go in the mornings. They do a range of activities every day from drawing, dancing and role play to cooking and try to have the children outside as much as possible. Since we have returned after lockdown, Nature Trails have been amazing. Their policies and
procedures relating to COVID-19 are extremely robust and I feel very safe sending my daughter there.

Nature Trails has first-class facilities, well-equipped rooms, outdoor play spaces and a fantastic kitchen team, who provide a great variety of tasty healthy food. Every member of staff knows every child, even in different rooms from the one they primarily work in which makes all the children feel safe
and cared for. The staff and management are clearly highly qualified and take great pride in the development and care of each individual child. As we have no family close by so it was vital to us to find a place for our child to develop social skills prior to starting school, and under the care of the staff our child is blossoming into an intelligent, caring and well-rounded individual. I cannot recommend Nature Trails enough!!

Vicky Stancer

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2006

Vicky is the Manager of Nature Trails Day Nursery in Cawston and has a wealth of experience, having worked in the early years sector since 1997. Vicky has a number of qualifications, including a BA (Hons) in Early Years and Early Years Professional Status. Nature Trails has been part of Childbase Partnership since 2018, yet Vicky has worked at the setting since 2006.


What is your favourite feature of Nature Trails?
My favourite features of the nursery are not only the extensive outdoor space we have to offer but also that we have been able to maintain the personal touch and family feel that Nature Trails has always had.


What are you most proud of about your nursery/team?
I am most proud of how the nursery has grown and become a part of the Childbase family and that our colleagues take such pride in their work and the company ethos.
