My daughter started at Nature Trails in October 2020, I was worried about how she would settle into a new nursery, especially given all of the current issues related to COVID. All of the staff have been brilliant and could not have been more helpful, she has been very well cared for, and the transition
to a new setting was very smooth. The procedures and policies in place to ensure everyone's well-being work very well, and the communications I receive via the app and the newsletters really give me peace of mind that she's happy and that they are doing their utmost for the children, staff and parents in these really challenging times.

Nature Trails is such an excellent nursery. My little girl went here from 18 months up until she left to go to school, and my little boy started going 6 months ago now.
Myself, my husband and the grandparents all rate this nursery.
Both children have always developed strong bonds with their key persons.
They always welcome them with a big smile, and you can visibly see how much they enjoy being around them. My little girl was a little later in walking than some of the children, and the staff worked really hard with her to encourage her with her walking and help her to transition from room to room.
Staff always keep us really well informed on what the children have been up to throughout the day both verbally and through the app. They also incorporate Forest school for the children and encourage them to be outside, whatever the weather!
I would thoroughly recommend this nursery to any parents. So happy we chose Nature Trails for both children.

I couldn’t be happier with Nature Trails. My daughters have both settled in so well. The activities they partake in look fabulous, and the range of meals they eat are brilliant. We have had lovely experiences with the staff we have seen and met at handover. Would highly recommend!

My son visited the nursery for a preschool year and we were very happy. He loved his teachers, he made new friends. They have a lot of space for outside play, which was very important to us. The only drawback was lacking communication between nursery staff themselves and with parents. But they were
always easy to get in touch with and trying to accommodate any requests. The difficult time after pandemic lockdown I think they withstood very well. They were very accommodating to parents and as diligent as they possibly could in nursery settings of groups of 4-year-olds.

My eldest daughter has attended Nature Trails since she was fourteen months old. She is now due to start school in September. I can not praise the staff at Nature Trails enough! I have seen my daughter grow through the years at Nature Trails, her confidence has increased, she has made lovely friendships
with other children and the staff and ultimately I now see her as a little girl ready for school - thanks to the hard work and dedication of the staff. It’s an all-round team effort, with lovely nutritious meals cooked by on-site kitchen staff. I’m always told that my children ask for seconds! Management are always on hand to answer any questions that may arise. All in all sending my daughter to Nature Trails was the best decision we made! Keep up the excellent work Nature Trails!!

My daughter settled really well in Nature Trails at 1-year-old. She loves going every morning and gets excited when she sees her keyworker.

I can’t recommend Nature Trails enough. I had never left my 10-month-old twins with anyone before and the staff reassured me so much. The girls were initially apprehensive but straight away they were joining in with the other children. The staff have got to know them individually and understand their
specific needs, likes and dislikes. They send me regular updates and photos so I feel involved in their day to day activities and know what they have been up to. They have both developed to much since joining the nursery over the last month, one even smiles and waves me off every morning, so happy to be left with her key worker! The other is still slightly unsure about being left, but gets lots of cuddles and comfort from her key worker and within minutes is enjoying her time with the adults and her peers. I feel so assured they are in the best care and will enjoy themselves to the max.

I moved my daughter to Nature Trails from another nursery as the nursery here had so much more to offer and with a huge outdoor space for the children to play out in all weathers. The activities they had to offer were so much better than her old nursery and they always seem to be active.
My daughter
has loved every minute of being at Nature Trails and had developed so much in herself and her learning.
The staff are very friendly and have a lot of time for the children and their development needs too.
The only downside is the parking which was very hard to park during the busy drop off times but this seems to have improved a lot this year and always seem to get a space now.
I would definitely recommend this nursery to anyone looking.

My son has recently returned to nursery after the lockdown period and has settled in really well. He loves going to nursery and is always excited when we drop him off. At home he loves telling us about what he’s done and who he’s played with. It’s a superb nursery and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending
it to anyone. We’ll never use anywhere else for our children.

I have used Nature Trails since 2014, firstly for my son, and now for my daughter. I have always been incredibly impressed with the care, support, attention and affection given to my children by all the staff across the whole nursery.
Both my children flourished with the individual support and guidance
offered with their development. I was, and continue to be very pleased with the daily/weekly feedback about progress as well as enjoying the regular pictures about the daily activities offered. The variety of opportunities offered daily provide lots of choices, chances to develop interests, opportunities for learning and personal development.
In recent months, my daughter continued to attend nursery as I am a key worker. The extra information about delivery of care at such a difficult time was excellent, and clearly communicated at all times and I felt very reassured at all times about her wellbeing under difficult circumstances.
An excellent nursery, which I highly recommend.

My son has been attending this nursery since he was 9-months-old. He is now almost 3 and loves going in every time. Every day different activities are organised for the children. They have a super outside space and often go down the lane for outside trips to the woods and to see the animals. They have
an on-site chef cooking up healthy nutritious meals each day. The staff are lovely and very caring. I wouldn't send him anywhere else.

I have always been very impressed with the care, the facilities and the activities available to my twins. A really great location surrounded by countryside and with woodland walks to the rear. My children have always been very happy there.

Fantastic Nursery in a great setting and great staff. Always approachable and friendly. Both our children attend and they love going to Nursery to see their key workers and friends. The way the Nursery have handled the recent Covid-19 situation has been exceptional with constant updates and fairness.
They
make the process from induction to daily drop off and pickups easy and straight forward with lots of information given of the days activities. Most places rely on good staff who build a good rapport with the parents, and rapport and friendliness come in abundance at Nature Trails. Nothing is ever too much to ask and its always a friendly approach. Recommend anyone to visit this Nursery if you are in the process of choosing. It was an easy choice once we had visited.

I have been extremely happy with Nature Trails, and I now have both of my children there. My eldest is due to start preschool next month, and my youngest has just gone into his second room there.
All the staff are super friendly and helpful, and they offer you all the reassurance that you need.
They
have always been extremely accommodating, and work with you to suit the needs of your child.

I have two boys aged 1 and 3 that attend Nature Trails. They have only just started this month but already I can see the benefits. My 3-year-old especially is expressing how much he loves learning and playing within the setting.
Both children go with their key workers happily, so I can be at work
knowing they are comfortable and settled.

I have visited several nurseries and this one is the best by far! The minute I saw the facilities and outside space, I knew my daughter would be coming here. The staff are very friendly and professional and made sure that my daughter settled in well. After a few weeks, I’ve noticed my daughter’s vocabulary
expanded and she started showing more interest in the natural world, which I think is very important in our technological era.
Overall, she absolutely loves it here (even asks if she can come to nursery on weekends) and we are very happy with the choice we’ve made. Highly recommend!

I can’t recommend Nature Trails enough, the setting is beautiful, so much space and lovely garden space for the children, all of my little one's teachers have been incredible, so welcoming and friendly and wonderfully supportive and caring to both my child and me as a mum. The activities are varied
and really interesting and the food is diverse and offers my little one lots of different flavours to what she would have at home. If you are looking for high quality, special nursery you have found it in Nature Trails.

Vicky Stancer

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2006

Vicky is the Manager of Nature Trails Day Nursery in Cawston and has a wealth of experience, having worked in the early years sector since 1997. Vicky has a number of qualifications, including a BA (Hons) in Early Years and Early Years Professional Status. Nature Trails has been part of Childbase Partnership since 2018, yet Vicky has worked at the setting since 2006.


What is your favourite feature of Nature Trails?
My favourite features of the nursery are not only the extensive outdoor space we have to offer but also that we have been able to maintain the personal touch and family feel that Nature Trails has always had.


What are you most proud of about your nursery/team?
I am most proud of how the nursery has grown and become a part of the Childbase family and that our colleagues take such pride in their work and the company ethos.
