Children 1st Meir Park Nursery School

My son has been at Children 1st for 9 months and he loves it. He has come on leaps and bounds and his speech is improving at remarkable speed. Like many parents, I didn't want to leave my son but I know the staff are amazing and he adores them as much as they adore him. The food is great, the outside area is great. I cannot thank them enough for all the support they give me to and my son.

Wonderful place for your children to play and learn. Caring staff, nice facilities and understanding from the management. Although put in the difficult conditions to accept all the children from another nursery, the staff did their best to keep on caring for the children the way they used to.

Children 1st @ Meir Park have always made myself as a parent know that my child is in safe hands and enjoying every second of the day spent there. I’m reassured that she is doing well with regular updates of her activities and learning journey via the app which is lovely to see. Their communication is excellent from reception to my child’s key learner. Every staff member knows and makes your child feel very welcome.

All staff are brilliant, friendly and welcoming. My child has come along so much since joining the nursery, the staff have really helped with him and always keep you updated on your child's day and progress. A-star.

As parents that work full time, we are reassured in the knowledge that our child's days are spent with friends playing games and learning as we receive regular updates and pictures through the app. The staff and management team are approachable and communicate regularly.

The staff are super helpful and compassionate. They take each child’s progression individually, allowing them all to progress at their own pace. My daughter loves going to nursery and has grown in confidence and intelligence hugely. Can’t thank the staff enough for the time and effort they put in.

Was so anxious to send my son to any nursery, we went and had a look around and I felt so welcome from the offset. Every single encounter I’ve had with any member of staff has been nothing but pleasant. You can tell they really care about each individual child. Extremely understanding and accommodating too! Best decision I’ve ever made. My son hass also come on leaps and bounds while being there. Also such a good variety of meals!

Best nursery in town. Great, friendly staff and great with children, my son absolutely loves going to the nursery, he has developed great skills since joining. Keep up the great work guys, you deserve more than five stars.

My daughter started at Children 1st Day Nursery back in September 2020 and I was distraught at the thought of leaving her. I shouldn't have worried though as every member of staff looks after each child as if they were their own. We are kept up to date on every aspect of our daughter's nursery life and the children have such a wide range of activities meaning they are constantly learning something new. They also get lots of time outside in the amazing play space they have. The menu is extremely varied meaning the children get to try things they perhaps wouldn't have at home. The staff all know each child individually, including the managers and everyone is very approachable. The staff are great at knowing when the children are off or upset and keep you updated on how they're doing. I truly cannot fault a thing at this nursery.

She gets time outside when possible and the staff work with us as parents to ensure what is best for her.

My little boy started at Children 1st Meir Park in September 2021. He has settled into the nursery really well, the staff are so friendly and welcoming. He is learning lots of new things and is enjoying himself. We are really happy that we chose this nursery.

My child loves nursery, she always establishes a positive relationship with her key adult who supports her. Her development is tracked and progress made is shared with us. My daughter is supported to develop her knowledge and social skills. Confidentiality is respected.

My son loves going to this nursery, he has so much fun there and always comes home talking about what he's been up to during the day. All the ladies there are lovely, and it feels like I'm leaving him with friends rather than at a nursery. Thank you for looking after him Meir Park.

My son has been attending Children First @ Meir Park since he was 12 months. He is now almost 3. The nursery is fantastic and he loves attending. He has settled in really well and has lots of friends. He has various dietary requirements and these are always catered for. He was off nursery for 5 months due to Covid and we were kept up to date with changes throughout this period. He returned to nursery without any issues and has settled back in happily.

My son has loved this nursery and all the staff since he started, and even the break this year didn’t phase him. All he had were good memories and as soon as he was ready to go back the staff were so welcoming it was like there had been no break. Starting my youngest at the same time was a worry as she hadn’t seen any adults for months since lockdown but the ladies are so fun and kind that she quickly grew in confidence and loves nursery play days. We’re really pleased with this nursery and lots of thought is put into looking after children in the best possible way.

Brilliant nursery, the staff are great. They are always on hand to help and ensure my little boy comes into nursery settled. The manager is absolutely great and is very helpful with everything! I have worked in nurseries myself so I was quite picky when deciding on where to send my son. I cannot fault Children 1st, never had a problem in the year my son has been attending!
