My son attends and has really settled in, the staff are brilliant and welcoming! Have done some lovely activities, they have put us as parents at ease that our child is happy when at nursery. Only down side is the menu as this is something our son doesn't enjoy so much, seems as though it is too
complex and nothing he would eat usually at home. Overall this nursery has been fab and our son loves to go!

My son has flourished since joining Children 1st Meir Park, and I couldn't be more grateful for the incredible care he receives in the Jemima Puddleducks baby room. From the moment we walk through the door, the team create such a warm, welcoming, and nurturing atmosphere that he settles instantly
and leaves each day full of smiles.
He absolutely loves spending his days with Lilly and Maisy, who have been nothing short of amazing with him. Their patience, kindness, and genuine affection shine through in everything they do. It's clear how much they care about the children, and the bond they've built with my son means the world to us. Knowing he is so happy and secure with them gives me complete peace of mind.
The progress he's made since starting has been wonderful to see. His confidence has grown, he's becoming more curious and independent, and he's always excited to explore the activities they plan.

My daughter joined the nursery at 3 years old, she had never been to nursery before so she found it a bit daunting but the staff were absolutely amazing with her. They were so caring and they supported her during the transition, now she absolutely loves nursery and she has made so much progress with
her development since joining.

Our daughter attends childrens 1st at Meir Park, she has been there for a little over 12 months and they have been nothing other than brilliant, my daughter loves going and has built great relationships with the staff, she is thriving being there and the support from her nursery teachers is utterly
amazing, my daughter is behind with her speech due a few potential factors and the staff have always supported her and all of us as a family and have worked with others professionals to help our daughter get the best support. We have no complaints with the care our daughter receives!
Anyone who is looking at sending there child to nursery should 100% consider childrens 1st!

The new system doesn't feed as much information to parents than it previously did. Such as activities and meal that child has eaten or not.
I would love to see more activities but understand the weather has been awful.
Overall I love the progress my child has made and now he now loves going to
nursery (like a new child) x

My child has attended Meir Park nursery for a year and a half now. Whilst staff continue to be friendly and welcoming, I do feel standards have dropped recently. There seems to be lots of inconsistencies with staffing, my child has had around 4 new key workers over the last 4/5 months which I
believe plays a part in why she no longer wants to go to nursery. Children need this consistency to feel safe and as parents, we need that too, knowing we're leaving our child with someone who knows them and they're comfortable with. Another change we're not happy about is the new menu introduced last year, this really isn't a child friendly menu and staff have commented numerous times on how most of the children don't eat it, I don't think many children do want tofu, organic beans or a mushroom stroganoff. My child now says she doesn't want nursery tea every day before going to nursery. I'm hoping this will be reviewed and a normal menu put back in.

My daughter has attended this nursery for 3 years and my youngest daughter will be starting soon. The nursery is such a lovely setting for the children. The staff are friendly and caring and my daughter loves them.
They nurture the children and help them to develop into their own little characters

My daughter has attended Children's 1st Nursery for the last year and has enjoyed every single moment. She was 3 years old when she joined and the team have made her feel welcome and cared for ever since. She has made life long friends, which includes her teachers! Every single member of staff is
polite and cheerful with a smile on their face whenever you cross paths. The team have helped my little girl develop into a confident, independent little person in preparation for her starting "big school"! We will miss the nursery team and all they have to offer, but will be back again soon when my second little girl starts nursery in a year or so, a testament to how truly wonderful the place is. Thank you!

Our Daughters Graduation Ceremony this month was extremely emotional.
A huge event in her life to date and she was always practising her songs at home, the preparation for the children to be front and centre on the stage had taken weeks and clearly a serious commitment from the Nursery team to
deliver something extra special for the parents. The songs, the actions, the slideshow of her and her friends over the last few years made our hearts melt.
My daughter has attended this Nursery for 4 years now and its going to be an emotional day when we walk out of those doors for the last time on the 1st September. We both have known nothing else.
Our daughter is so well adjusted after attending Meir Park Nursery that her school transition days were a breeze, no fuss, no trepidation, they have been prepping her to become a 'schoolie' for months now and she walked into the school head held high and excited to see what the next chapter of her life looks like.

Our Daughter has loved the last 4 years at your nursery. I've always found the nursery to be very clean, staff are really nice and when collecting they always give an honest feedback on how she was that day.
Dropping her off i always felt secure in knowing she would be kept safe and learn lots
of fun new things daily.
She will miss Nursery and the staff, but she has been prepared for reception in the best possible way. She's confident around other children now, made lots of new friends and has a willingness to learn new things.

A wonderful nursery with caring, nurturing staff. Our little boy has thrived here. Communication with parents is fantastic and the children are cared for so well and given so many lovely opportunities.

I can't explain how amazing Childrens 1st have been for me and my daughter. My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes while at the nursery and the staff have been phenomenal managing my daughter's condition on a daily basis, which is a lot of extra work for them, and attending training etc and
I've not once had to worry about her there.
Aside from this, the nursery is fabulous and my daughter has loved every room she has been in and all of her key workers. She's made so much progress since being there, made lots of friends and loves all of the activities they do.
I'm having another baby in August and wouldn't dream of sending them anywhere else.

My daughter has had a really good experience at Children 1st @ Meir Park. Everyday she has entered the room and left the door with a smile, always talking about how much she has enjoyed her day.

We love everything about Children 1st @ Meir Park! My son first attended in January 2020 and my daughter still attends. The staff are incredible and the kids absolutely love them. What is amazing, is there is not a high turnover of staff, which is great for the children for continuity and I think
that says a lot about the environment and the company. The food and facilities are amazing. The staff are so attentive and supportive to parents. I couldn't ask for a better nursery for my children to attend and have recommended to many parents!

My son has been coming to this nursery for 2 years and we couldn't wish for a more perfect nursery, we are expecting our second child in May and have already popped their name down to start too as we cannot think of anywhere better than here to look after our children.
The staff are amazing,
friendly and so helpful with any requests we have had, skin allergies, sleep requests etc they are happy to help with anything.
The toys, books, activities the staff do with my son are amazing and we always get updated on the app with pictures and developments he has reached which is fantastic to see.
Would recommend Children 1st Meir Park to anybody looking at a nursery for their children.

I am incredibly grateful for Children First Nursery at Meir Park. My son was born 8 weeks premature and has faced some developmental challenges. In the 5 months he's been at the nursery, the progress I've seen has been amazing.
As a parent with anxiety about leaving him in care, I've been reassured
by the support of the staff. They've worked closely with me to ensure his development is on track and have been proactive in addressing his unique needs.
His key worker has been exceptional, always checking in for updates and asking how they can best help him.
My son has thrived in the nursery's creative and engaging activities. e.g. they brought snow inside for the children to touch and feel. He also eats and sleeps well there, which gives me peace of mind.
I truly believe my son is getting the best start, and I'm so happy I chose Children First at Meir Park. The team has gone above and beyond to ensure he's happy, safe, and developing in the best way possible. I can't recommend this nursery enough!

Amazing staff always willing to help and listen to parent concerns. My child is always excited to go to nursery and see what's in store for him. My child always tells me about his fun day and how he loved all his activities and messy play!

My son has been attending Meir Park Nursery since he was 12 months old and all the staff that I've had interactions with and all of his key workers/apprentice girls have been fab. When he first started the nursery he was having some trouble with his sleep and they were understanding, supportive, and
reassuring and did everything they could to help which made the transition so much easier for us as a family. My only improvement would be to keep parents up to date daily via an app with more pictures/observations of the little ones. I do ring and check in every day in the afternoon to see how he has done with his sleep and his lunch, and it would be a lot easier if I could see it all updated on an app. I know he does some great activities during his time there and I'd love to see more photographs of him with his friends and partaking in the fun activities more.

My son has just finished Children 1st @ Meir Park and I couldn't have asked for a better experience for him! He's attended since he was 10 months old and is now 3 and a half and the entire team have set him up brilliantly to continue his journey in education. They are all so kind and caring, plan
lovely activities and give individuals the room to grow. Going to miss the nursery a lot!
