Field House Day Nursery & Pre-school

There are lots of engaging activities, the food is excellent, and we are really pleased with how happy and settled she is. We would highly recommend Field House Nursery to other parents.

His key worker Beatrice is incredible, she give an amazing handover at the end of the day so I know how he had been and what he had been up to and she really listeners if you have any concerns at all.

Field House has been excellent - they were super accommodating when we were moving to the area and had to keep changing start dates. Our little one settled in super quickly thanks to the brilliant staff. The garden area is amazing - she loves getting out for fresh air and play in the garden every day. All the staff are so friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend!

An amazing team and a really fantastic nursery that our son has enjoyed over the past almost three years! Couldn't recommend highly enough, a caring and enthusiastic team with a real passion for baby and toddler development and learning.

The team at Field House are so skilled, warm, caring and considerate not only of the children their care but also of parents experiencing the same separation angst as their child who might be attending nursery for the first time.

My daughter certainly struggled initially but the team were so patient and kind with us both as she settled.

In a matter of weeks I'm seeing brilliant photos of her playing with others, she sleeps far better at nursery than she does for me and the breadth of foods she's trying and enjoying is beyond anything I could do at home.

I'm truly very impressed and would recommend to anyone. The facilities are of course very good but it's the team you need to trust in.

My Daughter has recently left for school. She thrived whilst being at the setting and used to tell us how much she loved being there. Our son now attends in the baby room and the staff were amazing with settling him in. His speech has come on tremendously and he loves going in. The nursery has a home from home feel and being a smaller nursery the staff know all the children individually. The garden is lovely and is a big space for them to enjoy. My Daughter also enjoyed the forest school sessions that are also offered at the setting

Our child started at Field House when he was around a year old. They really supported us through the settling process, despite some difficulty getting him eating. The manager is fantastic and has specifically asked for parent feedback to try to improve over time. We've already seen suggestions being put in place. I really like that it is a small nursery, so the employees really get to know all the children. The specific baby garden area is great too! We look forward to seeing the regular pictures each day to see what he's been up to! It always seem very clean when we attend. I would definitely recommend to others.

My husband and I were not sure what we were looking for in a nursery but as we went around various ones it became clear that food & nutrition, engaging play and smaller group numbers were important to us. Field House just felt right when we were there and thankfully this feeling was proved correct when our son started last September. The staff are attentive, patient and kind with all the little ones and it has been amazing to see how our son has developed since being there. He often does things at home that we will eventually figure out he is being taught at nursery (nursery rhymes, washing hands). They spend lots of time outdoors come rain or shine which is exactly what we wanted for him. The staff take the time to check in regularly about how his day has been and can be really helpful for how to manage certain things at home (we followed their example with sleep which helped hugely and also how to manage a bit of boisterous behaviour). They really care and I am so happy he is there.

We have had a fantastic experience with this nursery. From the very beginning, the staff provided incredible support to help my son settle in, making the transition smooth and reassuring for both him and us as parents. The team is highly involved, caring, and attentive, and it's clear that they know him well and genuinely care about his well-being. Their supportive approach has helped him grow in confidence and enjoy his time at nursery. We're highly recommend this nursery to other parents.

Field House Nursery has been fantastic for my daughter! She's learning so much and comes home happy every day. The staff are so warm and caring, especially her key worker, Patience, who has been wonderful. The activities are fun and engaging, and it's lovely to see her growing in confidence. We are so pleased with Field House Day Nursery and Pre School. Our child always leaves happy and can tell us activities they have done throughout the day. They eat well there, the staff post photos each day of what they have been up to, and there are additional activities too such as drama tots. There is a great outdoor space where lots of play and exploring happens! All of the staff know all of the children and they are really caring. I really like that they promote independence from pouring their own cereal and milk to learning how to express themselves. They will phone if there are any problems and are very good with potential safeguarding concerns. They let one parent in at a time at drop off and collection and you are given some feedback of what your little one has been up to during the day. The manager, knows all of the children and spends time in the nursery with children and staff regularly, she also gets back to you very quickly with any concerns you may have.

My son has attended Field House since he was 9 months old and is due to leave to start school. The place on the whole is just fantastic. Lovely facilities in each of the rooms, and genuinely warm and friendly staff. Made the nursery part of life a joy!

My son has been at Fieldhouse for over four years now and although he's leaving my daughter is due to start soon, and we couldn't feel happier about where she will be spending her next few years. We are so grateful to all the staff at Fieldhouse for helping my son grow and flourish, they have always been supportive, incredibly caring and kind, and we always are greeted by a friendly face when we drop him off and pick him up. He loves the staff and talks about them a lot at home. The manager is an excellent leader, her communications are prompt and helpful and she always has a smile on her face and genuinely loves the children. The nursery is small enough for the staff to know all the children and we know all the staff. The rooms have fabulous spaces and toys for play and the garden has many sections to explore and run around in. It has a safe, homely feel. We would thoroughly recommend Fieldhouse Nursery.

Fieldhouse Nursery is absolutely amazing! Our son started here in April and he has settled in so well. Staff are very caring and professional, communication is great via daily updates on the app. Our son is learning so much and he is encouraged to learn new skills. He spends a lot of time outdoors which he loves! We can't thank Field House Nursery enough! The staff are always very friendly.

My daughter has been going to Field House for the last 3 and half years and they are amazing! I feel nothing is ever too much trouble. The staff are truly incredible and have been supportive throughout to us as first-time parents as well as my daughter. They have been there to offer advice through all of the big changes like terrible twos, getting rid of the dummy, potty training and now school. The nursery manager cares so much, which you can tell, this shines through when my daughter talks about her and all the staff. I think the biggest endorsement of all is that my daughter comes out happy, and confident and has made lots of friends. The way she talks about the staff and her experiences at Field House with what they have done throughout the day makes me feel so at ease that she's having fun and feels comfortable there. There are honestly not enough words to say how much I would recommend them!

We moved our son from another nursery to Field House and have never looked back! It was really important to us that we found somewhere he'd finally feel safe and happy, and where I'd feel comfortable leaving him. The staff are simply amazing. They are so kind and they really do care about the children. The communication is brilliant- handovers are always detailed and the updates and photos on the app are uploaded daily. Due to a previous experience elsewhere, I was nervous about leaving him but being allowed to be involved in the settling-in sessions was fantastic and he's absolutely thrived since being there. We honestly cannot thank the staff enough, they're a brilliant team and the manager is a real credit to the company. Our son has become so happy, relaxed, chatty and confident since starting there last year, our only regret is that we didn't move him to Field House sooner!

My daughter has been at Field House since she was one. She will start school in September but during her time at Field House, she has developed great social skills and gained confidence. She is benefitting from the structure in the preschool room which helps her adapt to school life. The nursery staff and environment now definitely helped to create her confidence in social interactions and physical development. Thank you.
