Field House Day Nursery is a full-time day nursery in Kenilworth, offering a safe, caring and homely environment. With 30 places available for children aged six weeks to five years, children are supported individually and practitioners ensure each child’s time at the nursery is a happy one.

The nursery is filled with calming rooms that have been decorated in natural colours, each catering for different age groups. The outdoor play area provides children with the opportunity to develop through play and exploration.

My Daughter has recently left for school. She thrived whilst being at the setting and used to tell us how much she loved being there. Our son now attends in the baby room and the staff were amazing with settling him in. His speech has come on tremendously and he loves going in. The nursery has a home
from home feel and being a smaller nursery the staff know all the children individually. The garden is lovely and is a big space for them to enjoy. My Daughter also enjoyed the forest school sessions that are also offered at the setting

Our child started at Field House when he was around a year old. They really supported us through the settling process, despite some difficulty getting him eating. The manager is fantastic and has specifically asked for parent feedback to try to improve over time. We've already seen suggestions being
put in place. I really like that it is a small nursery, so the employees really get to know all the children. The specific baby garden area is great too! We look forward to seeing the regular pictures each day to see what he's been up to! It always seem very clean when we attend. I would definitely recommend to others.

My husband and I were not sure what we were looking for in a nursery but as we went around various ones it became clear that food & nutrition, engaging play and smaller group numbers were important to us. Field House just felt right when we were there and thankfully this feeling was proved correct when
our son started last September. The staff are attentive, patient and kind with all the little ones and it has been amazing to see how our son has developed since being there. He often does things at home that we will eventually figure out he is being taught at nursery (nursery rhymes, washing hands). They spend lots of time outdoors come rain or shine which is exactly what we wanted for him. The staff take the time to check in regularly about how his day has been and can be really helpful for how to manage certain things at home (we followed their example with sleep which helped hugely and also how to manage a bit of boisterous behaviour). They really care and I am so happy he is there.

We are so pleased with Field House Day Nursery and Pre School. Our child always leaves happy and can tell us activities they have done throughout the day. They eat well there, the staff post photos each day of what they have been up to, and there are additional activities too such as drama tots. There
is a great outdoor space where lots of play and exploring happens! All of the staff know all of the children and they are really caring. I really like that they promote independence from pouring their own cereal and milk to learning how to express themselves. They will phone if there are any problems and are very good with potential safeguarding concerns. They let one parent in at a time at drop off and collection and you are given some feedback of what your little one has been up to during the day. The manager, knows all of the children and spends time in the nursery with children and staff regularly, she also gets back to you very quickly with any concerns you may have.

My son has been at Fieldhouse for over four years now and although he's leaving my daughter is due to start soon, and we couldn't feel happier about where she will be spending her next few years. We are so grateful to all the staff at Fieldhouse for helping my son grow and flourish, they have always
been supportive, incredibly caring and kind, and we always are greeted by a friendly face when we drop him off and pick him up. He loves the staff and talks about them a lot at home. The manager is an excellent leader, her communications are prompt and helpful and she always has a smile on her face and genuinely loves the children. The nursery is small enough for the staff to know all the children and we know all the staff. The rooms have fabulous spaces and toys for play and the garden has many sections to explore and run around in. It has a safe, homely feel. We would thoroughly recommend Fieldhouse Nursery.

My daughter has been going to Field House for the last 3 and half years and they are amazing! I feel nothing is ever too much trouble. The staff are truly incredible and have been supportive throughout to us as first-time parents as well as my daughter. They have been there to offer advice through all
of the big changes like terrible twos, getting rid of the dummy, potty training and now school. The nursery manager cares so much, which you can tell, this shines through when my daughter talks about her and all the staff. I think the biggest endorsement of all is that my daughter comes out happy, and confident and has made lots of friends. The way she talks about the staff and her experiences at Field House with what they have done throughout the day makes me feel so at ease that she's having fun and feels comfortable there. There are honestly not enough words to say how much I would recommend them!

We moved our son from another nursery to Field House and have never looked back! It was really important to us that we found somewhere he'd finally feel safe and happy, and where I'd feel comfortable leaving him. The staff are simply amazing. They are so kind and they really do care about the children.
The communication is brilliant- handovers are always detailed and the updates and photos on the app are uploaded daily. Due to a previous experience elsewhere, I was nervous about leaving him but being allowed to be involved in the settling-in sessions was fantastic and he's absolutely thrived since being there. We honestly cannot thank the staff enough, they're a brilliant team and the manager is a real credit to the company. Our son has become so happy, relaxed, chatty and confident since starting there last year, our only regret is that we didn't move him to Field House sooner!

My daughter has been at Field House since she was one. She will start school in September but during her time at Field House, she has developed great social skills and gained confidence. She is benefitting from the structure in the preschool room which helps her adapt to school life. The nursery staff

We moved to the area late 2022 which meant my 2 year old had to change nursery after over a year at his previous one. He initially had issues settling in but the staff were really patient about it and had great suggestions as to how to make him feel more comfortable. He now really enjoys nursery and
walks in confidently with no tears. The staff have also been fantastic with his potty training, patient and kind throughout even on days he was struggling. My son loves the outdoor area, they go out most days which is really great to see. He also enjoys the food and the singing and dancing! They use an app which is great for seeing what he's been eating and how he's been sleeping, we even get a bunch of photos daily to show what they've been up to.

The staff at Field House have been looking after our children for the past 4 years - with only our youngest now left there. She loves attending and playing with the other children and staff and we never have a problem with her at drop-off. The staff have always kept us informed about our children's
progress at pick-ups, via their parent app and monthly updates. The staff are all friendly and approachable and I feel they really have the best interests of the children at heart.


Moreover, my son who left in September has gone to school with all the skills he needed to settle right in (dressing himself, lunch self-service, etc), and thanks to the Field House staff, he was one of the few who was able to consistently write his name correctly, write all the letters of the alphabet, and know his numbers. As a result, he is doing fantastically at school. The facilities at Field House are really amazing with a great outdoor space and an intimate indoor environment. Would highly recommend it.

The nursery is full of friendly staff who care really well for my daughter. She loves spending time here and it is great for her development. She is full time at the nursery and transitioned from being at home full time to nursery full time with no issues - testament to the quality of care.

My name is Jade and I’m the Nursery Manager here at Field House.


I started my childcare career in London, where I nannied for families in Central London. Since relocating to Warwickshire, I have worked at Tommies Childcare for more than five years. During my time at Tommies Childcare and Field House Day Nursery, I have progressed from the role of Nursery Practitioner to Nursery Manager.


In my time so far at Field House, I have become part of a warm and experienced team, and through parent partnerships, we have created an inviting and homely experience for the children in our care.

I’m Emma and I am proud to be Deputy Manager here at Field House Day Nursery.


I started out my childcare career just over 15 years ago by training as an apprentice in a preschool. Over the years, I’ve worked my way up from an Apprentice to Deputy Manager, working in various supervisory roles along the way. I’ve been here at Field House for nearly 2 years, starting initially in a Third in Charge role before recently being given the opportunity to step up as the nursery’s Deputy Manager.


I know first-hand what it is like as a parent to choose a nursery. I had my first child in September 2020 and felt many of the same things that all parents feel when it is time to return to work.
