We really like this nursery. It's a safe and supportive environment for our son. It's reassuring to see how staff comfort and support him.
They are clearly knowledgeable, dedicated, and genuinely caring.
The office staff are equally friendly and professional. Communication is good.
One suggestion
would be to use the app more for sharing observations and the learning journey (although I believe they are heading this way with recent changes). Maybe consider using it for daily updates and handovers.
The premises are clean, inviting, and happy. I love the outside area!
It was clearly the right choice for us, and I recommend it :)

All staff are brilliant and friendly everytime !
I can definitely say Our Child is well looked after since she first started children's 1st. Our child has also made friends with other children. Good Vibes all the way!

Both our children attend the nursery and I think they love it. There is enough space for them to play in and outside, they have different activities all the time, they get support when needed. Our children have been in every room and we have great impression from all the staff, no matter which room
they were in.
The nursery has been so flexible with attendance too, which we really appreciate.
There are just a couple of things that I think can be improved from my point of view. One is the breakfast - I wish they had something else and not cornflakes, or shreddies every day. And it would be great if we get more updates in the app on what our kids did during the day/week, especially the older ones. I feel we don't get as much information on what they do on a daily basis, as we do for the little ones.
Other than that, the nursery is great and the staff is great, always willing to help!

The first thing that stands out is how happy my grand-daughter is, she's excited to go to every session. All the staff are very friendly and approachable, and if you have any queries, they always have time to answer.
This nursery has a very happy atmosphere and where learning is conducted in a fun
environment with lots of activities to improve upon all their basic skills from academic to well being, sharing and caring, building confidence and self esteem.
My grand-daughter loves this place, loves all the staff members, loves her friends she has made (many) with the only time she is saddened is when she is unwell and cannot attend.
I praise all the efforts the whole nursery make, working together as a team to make everyone feel welcome.

My Daughter has attended this nursery since she was 1 years old & will soon be going onto School in September - the staff here have helped with her development & confidence & she is always happy to attend - & most importantly I feel she is safe & looked after well in my absence which makes leaving her

Brilliant Nursery! They're so understanding, supporting & kind every single one of them, they've helped my Son Massively!! Since he started in September 2023, they've supported him so much & got him to eat fruit that he wouldn't eat at home he now does, they've got time & care for all the children!,
they managed to get him to play with other children & he now Join's in with all kind of activities, they update you with pretty much everything which is lovely even photos and reviews on your child and how there doing, I'm super Glad I've brought my Son Here! Best nursery Ever!!, they have the most amazing play area's aswell they have mini small one's and then a huge one in the middle, they learn so much! Super clean & tidy!! So Glad I choose this one for him to come to.

My daughter has been attending this nursery for a year now and she couldn't be happier. She enjoys coming each day and has built relationships with the staff there. All the staff are amazing in each of the different rooms so you never have to worry when your child moves up a room because the standard
of care they receive is consistent throughout the nursery. The setting is bright, colourful and clean and you instantly feel welcomed. The food menus are fantastic and the staff feedback each day is really appreciated. I have transitioned to working full time since my daughter started and the staff really helped me with the hours, fees and all of the details I was worried about. My daughter now attends every day from 8-5 and she is doing brilliantly thanks to the amazing staff. The staff are also great at helping my daughter with her confidence, her speech and potty training. My older 2 sons attended this nursery too and having looked at other nurseries in the area there is no comparison!

Our daughter started at Children's 1st Bilborough in September and absolutely loves it. They have great facilities with lots of outdoor space. All the staff are warm and caring. They are quick to address any issues that emerge.

As a parent of a slightly naughty and hyper active little boy, I am more than happy with how he is taken care of. A regular update of what he has done that day, what he ate, how was his mood etc. gives us a lot of assurance.
Along with that we are updated with the observations along with his pictures
twice a month.
That gives us an understanding on what he is learning etc.
All the staff know him by name and greet him with a smile. They take care of him very well. He learnt many rhymes there and tries to read books like he can already read.
What else can parent ask for?
I am very glad that I chose this nursery for my little one.

My child is going to children 1st since last year and I never had any complain regard all the staff is very kind and helpful my son really likes them all and very comfortable within few days when he first started.

I highly recommend this nursery; our daughter attended from 2023-2024 and from the exceptional experience she had within her time here, we also made the decision to put our son in this nursery too, since starting he is loving it and has fantastic staff looking after him who I can't speak highly enough
about them; they are friendly and very professional and are just brilliant at what they do! we always receive a handover of how our son as been in the day, it's so nice to hear rather than just generic answers that you may receive elsewhere. Our son absolutely loves it, and is thriving and the additional confidence he is growing since starting here is really showing, he looks forward to coming to nursery and is always eager to go in. From the moment you enter the nursery you find it very warming from reception staff, to nursery nurse staff right to the management team. Thank you all so much for being so fabulous at what you do!

My Son has attended Children's 1st Bilborough Since September 24.
It took him a while to settle in due to him being with me all the time previous to starting, however he's now finally found his feet and loves attending. The staff are amazing, welcoming and very friendly. He has so much fun playing
and meeting new friends. Thank you Children's 1st. Would highly recommend this nursery.

I love this nursery. Since my son started after his 1st birthday his development skills are amazing. He's able to talk and say a lot of words. He is so bright and happy when he's at nursery and he loves going. The staff are lovely and are so understanding.

My little boy started in September, he's normally really shy and really struggles with new places he goes to that he doesn't know, after a few weeks of starting here he'd walk in with a big smile on his face & I have no issues with taking him now. he even wants to go in days he's not in! He absolutely
loves all of the staff two staff in particular being his favourite! His speech has came on so much better since starting here also!

Our child has been at this nursery for just under a year. In that time all of the staff, from key workers to reception staff, have demonstrated a wonderful level of care and friendliness, and have helped our child to increase in confidence. They have truly taken the time to get to know our child as
an individual. Communication, activities and resources are all excellent, and they cater to our child's dietary requirements. We would recommend this nursery to anyone.

From the moment our son enrolled at Children 1st, we have been consistently impressed by the dedication, professionalism, and expertise demonstrated by the entire school staff. The positive learning environment and nurturing atmosphere have truly made a difference in our son's early years development.

I am writing to express our heartfelt appreciation for the outstanding education and support that our son, receives at Children 1st. There are several aspects of Children 1st, that we would like to highlight in this review:
1. The teachers are passionate about education and go above and beyond to support
their pupils. They provide meaningful feedback that inspires the children to reach their full potential.
2. The facilities and resources enhance the learning experience for children. From well-equipped classrooms and safe extracurricular facilities/outside space, the school provides children with mostly everything they need to succeed in further learning and socially.
3. The sense of community is truly remarkable. Teachers/administrators work together collaboratively to create a supportive and inclusive environment where every child feels valued and respected.
