Our children are 1 and 3 and are placed in separate ages groups, however, there are no restrictions in place that stop our children from interacting together or even joining other groups. For example, our 1-year-old Son has had the freedom to explore other groups and interact with older children, something
I feel is beneficial to building his character and learning.

The children enjoy going to nursery and our Daughter likes to describe her "teachers" as her best friends. When we suggest to her that her room leaders would be proud of her for eating her dinner she immediately does so, so there is obviously a level of trust and respect that has been built between the room leaders and the children.

All of the staff are polite and careful and we are starting to receive regular update reports on what the kids have been up to, what they are learning and how they are progressing.

My daughter loves going to the nursery, she is always so happy when getting to the door. She has learnt so much from going. The staff and manager are very helpful, caring and friendly. The manager of this nursery sends brilliant updates weekly and is always updating parents. Overall I am very pleased
with this nursery regarding everything they do there.

My son has been attending Playtime Staines for almost a year now and he loves it.
The staff are fabulous and so caring towards him, it's reassuring to know that they are supporting your child and helping them have fun whilst learning. They've also been very supportive to me as a parent.
We get
regular updates on his progress and other goings on in the nursery which makes us feel in the loop and reassured.
The facilities and activities are brilliant! I love seeing how creative the staff are with the little ones.
My little boy is learning so much and it's a joy to see how nursery life helps. He loves it and the staff so much that some days he doesn't want to leave!
It's a fab nursery - can't fault it!

My daughter started at this nursery in June 2015 and we love it. We have been through a change of staff but have always been kept updated. Lots of activities and she loves all the messy play activities.

I am happy with the service that the nursery provides. The manager is very helpful and staff are kind and caring.
My little one loves the outside play area which is like a mini forest.
The menu is very healthy and has a great variety. I would definitely recommend to friends and family.

What a lovely nursery, my son really enjoys his time here. Staff are really kind and look after my son well. He takes part in lots of activities and I have a fridge full of artwork. Thank you for a great start of nursery life and we look forward to more time to come.

This is generally a nice nursery and I think the staff there do the best they can. However, in the 1.5 years my son has been going there, the manager changed four times! With each managerial change, many of the other staff leave. There have been several mornings in the past couple of months where there
was nobody in the Preschool room to accept my son when we dropped him off. His favourite carer left because bizarrely, she was not offered lower hours, even though her leaving left the nursery clearly extremely understaffed.
The situation has improved somewhat after an excellent worker was employed again full-time in November and a younger member of staff has been moved from baby to preschool room.
The weekly newsletters are clearly well-meant but contain religious content, which personally, I find offensive. The newly implemented system 2Build a Profile is also clearly well-meant but the updates are on such a basic level that they can hardly be called informative.

My daughter fully enjoys her time at the nursery and is thriving in her learning and development. The staff are very friendly and helpful and cater to her needs, such as her wanting to wave us goodbye out the window when we drop her off. This is really comforting to her and allows her to settle the
for the rest of the day.

My Son loves going to the nursery. He is learning a lot from the nursery. Loves the toys and his friends.

The only downside in last the few months was there was a lot of changes in staff, which will impact the child as it takes time to build a good relationship and with the change in staff, it becomes

harder for the kids to adjust. Hence I feel the Management should do more to retain good staff.

Also a bit more emphasis on cleanliness especially in the kid's toilets.

It's lovely to be able to drop my daughter off at nursery and she runs in as she loves it there so much. On top of that the nursery has a great way of teaching her and makes everything enjoyable for her.

I had no doubts after visiting playtime nursery that my daughter would settle in and enjoy her time at pre-school, the staff are welcoming and always on hand to answer any questions, they are sympathetic to individual child's needs and treat the children as if they are there own, I can see her self
confidence and independence growing daily and that is due to the dedication of the staff here at playtime.

My daughter attends Playtime. She took a long time to settle into the setting but her key-worker worked really well with her and now she loves going to nursery. At the weekend she asks if it is a nursery day.
She has a group of friends which she talks about all the time. She eats really well at nursery
and she always tells me that her food was yummy.

My Granddaughter attends Playtime Nursery.
When I see her on Saturday I always get given some art work that she has done.
I have picked her up from nursery a few times, when every I have turned up, she is always playing and engaged with a group of children.
All the children seem to be happily playing
at the nursery. The staff always talk to me and tell me how her day has been and how much she has eaten.

Current Review Score: 8.9 (8.901)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 8.9 (8.901) out of 10 for Partou The Thames Club Day Nursery & Pre-School is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.8 out of 5 from 5 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.1 out of 5 from 5 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.833 for Partou The Thames Club Day Nursery & Pre-School is calculated as follows: ( (50 Excellents x 5) + (10 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 60 Ratings = 4.833
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.068 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Partou The Thames Club Day Nursery & Pre-School is based on 5 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 = 3.5
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 44 number of registered child places is 8.8. 5 Positive Reviews ÷ 8.8 = 0.568
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
