My child has been attending this nursery since Jan 2019. He has settled in very well thanks to the care and attention he has received. He enjoys the range of activities available. Since attending this nursery his confidence and social skills have come on.

My son has just started the nursery this year and he has settled in so well. The staff are excellent with him, very friendly and have made him feel safe. Being an ex nursery manager myself, I found it really hard to find a nursery I liked however, Playtime Nursery was the only one I found that made
me feel happy to leave my son.

My wife visited many nurseries in the area but after visiting Playtime she said it was the one! I then went in for a viewing the very next day and I was highly impressed. The staff are all very friendly and approachable. My child is developing many skills by attending the nursery. The staff always give
a detailed handover when I collect my child. They also provide suggestions on what to be doing at home to help with development. I definitely feel my child is in the best nursery.

My child is a year old and has been attending the nursery for the past three months. I visited many other nurseries in the area but Playtime nursery was the only place that felt right. We were offered lots of settling in sessions to help my child settle into the new surroundings. The staff would always
phone to let me know if everything was ok. I used to phone every day, in the beginning, to check how my child was doing and the nursery never minded but encouraged it.
Within the last three months, my child has gone from being very shy to a confident little person. The developments we see are so positive. The staff are very caring, friendly and approachable. The staff always give me detailed feedback of how my child's day has been including activities, naps, meals and nappy changes. I always go to work knowing my child is in safe hands and never feel I need to worry. I would highly recommend Playtime Nursery.

Absolutely the best. We have been to other nurseries in the area but this is the best in all aspects: hygiene, activities, care for the child, food. They really follow up with the parents to ensure the child meet the milestones. We get daily report and development report in the parents evenings.

Playtime Nursery in Staines has provided a very good care for my 2.5 years old son who is always happy and confident there! They do a lot of activities and always take the kids out to play in the garden unless it’s pouring down with rains. My son has learnt a lot of things at the nursery, such as counting,
sharing, playing nicely with other kids and has become more independent! Especially his speech has improved a lot since starting at Playtime about 6 months ago as he is trilingual and often mixes languages, so the staff would pay extra attention to his speech and even checked with me about some foreign words he said. Playtime has exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend it to any parents.

My son loves attending Playtime. He has recently moved rooms and I feel that this transition has been the best for him as his keyworker realised he needed more, she suggested moving rooms.

As a father, I always follow my wife's lead when it came to picking a nursery for our son. I feel very comfortable when leaving my son at nursery and feel we have made the correct decision in putting my son in Playtime Nursery.
The staff and management are very good at keeping us up to date with my

Current Review Score: 8.9 (8.901)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 8.9 (8.901) out of 10 for Partou The Thames Club Day Nursery & Pre-School is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.8 out of 5 from 5 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.1 out of 5 from 5 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.833 for Partou The Thames Club Day Nursery & Pre-School is calculated as follows: ( (50 Excellents x 5) + (10 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 60 Ratings = 4.833
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.068 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Partou The Thames Club Day Nursery & Pre-School is based on 5 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 = 3.5
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 44 number of registered child places is 8.8. 5 Positive Reviews ÷ 8.8 = 0.568
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
