Kids@BT9

The setting adopts a wide range of sound educational pedagogies and uses recent research to inform planning and learning. Their policies on outdoor play, messy and risky play and personal and social development, in particular, were really welcomed, and everything is so child-centred to allow every child to flourish.

Our daughter has been attending kids@BT9 since she was 9 months old up to the preschool setting she is currently in. I don’t have enough good words to convey how highly we think of the entire staff and each of the rooms. She is delighted to leave us each morning and we know she couldn’t be in better hands or as safe in the knowledge we are that she will thrive in P1 come September. We are just as sad that our time at BT9 will be over.

Kids@BT9 is wonderful daycare. My children have attended since they were 14 months old, they now attend the Preschool. The staff and managers throughout the facility are kind and caring, my children love going each morning and come home with stories full of the fun activities they participated in. Plenty of facilities both indoor and outdoor. They thoroughly enjoy all the day trips they go on as well. I feel confident my children are well taken care of and their development has come on massively since they started Preschool.

Very happy with the help for my daughter. She arrived in Belfast from a country with another language without knowing English, I entered the nursery 4 days after arriving and the gesture of the caregivers to use the translator to understand a girl of only 26 months and help her in the process of her adaption meant a lot to me.

My little girl started here in November and honestly it is the best daycare ever. All the girls/staff are amazing and they are amazing with all the kids. So much activities the kids all do everyday. My daughter loves coming here, the smile on her face when I bring her here. The place is amazing and all the girls are amazing.

Can't speak highly enough of Kids@BT9. Our daughter is quite shy and has some dietary requirements which we were nervous about. But all the staff are amazing. The kitchen staff make sure everything is perfect. They take such good care of her and she has a brilliant time. We get regular updates though the app and she is always doing lots of fun looking activities such as painting, messy play and external music classes. Lots of outdoor activities too. Would recommend them to anyone.

My son loves going into nursery every morning, he's grown up so much especially from his time in the preschool room. He has made lots of friends since he joined the baby room in 2018, the staff are all lovely and caring towards him and they have their hands full with him. The outdoor play facilities are great and music class visits have always been a favourite of his. He loved his graduation day and he will really miss nursery and his friends at Kids@BT9 when he heads to his big sisters' school in September. Thanks very much.

My daughter is in preschool at Kids@BT9. She likes the school and the teachers, and she has friends here. She has learned a lot and she has improved in language and communication. She enjoys everything here. The teachers and professional and patient. The environment here is beautiful and well equipped. The school activities are interesting. We all like this school.

Being the parent of a 'lockdown baby' has presented a unique set of challenges. Leaving my little boy to go back to work full time was one of the hardest things I have ever done. However, the managers and their team @BT9 have given me such support. My boy loves going in to see all his buddies and the staff do a wonderful job of nurturing him. The setting is safe, stimulating, and caring and there is nothing like getting a gorgeous photo on the app to brighten the day! Their outdoor facilities are second to none in the South Belfast area and the kids get loads of outdoor experiences. We are only at the start of our journey with Kids@BT9 and I look forward to all they have to offer in the coming years.

Kids@BT9 is a great nursery. My son has been going there since he was two years old and he loves it. The teachers are lovely, caring and really good. It's wonderful seeing our son get excited about going to daycare here. The management is really committed to providing a safe and fun environment. Highly recommend sending your children here.

I have twins that attended this nursery. They have grown so much in their confidence, speaking and listening skills, gross motor skills, fine motor skills and emotional intelligence. They have made friendships and are very happy going into pre-school and will ask to go during holidays. The staff promote kindness, show understanding and always take on board any concerns and are very reassuring. It is a warm, happy, safe environment, and I am very happy to recommend Kids@BT9. My children are more prepared for going up to P1 in September.

My child loves pre-school at Kids@BT9. He is always so happy to go in and always has lots to tell me about what he has been doing. The staff are so friendly and approachable and have a real enthusiasm for all the children. He has really come on since starting pre-school, and I can see how much he is learning in terms of number and letter recognition. He is flying with his learning, and we are super grateful to all the staff.

I feel so happy to have taken my daughter to Kids@BT9. The school is always tidy and clean. The staff are amazing, dedicated and lovely. They know how to care for the children. My daughter absolutely loves the school and never cease to talk about her friends and teacher.

My girls joined Kids@BT9 when they were 12 months old, and are now approaching 3. I feel very fortunate to have chosen this nursery, as my experience of the standard of care has been second to none. The staff have offered the girls a loving caring home from home environment, which they are delighted to arrive to each morning, as well as smiling each evening after a fun filled day. The children are the real reviewers, and their experience shines through in how confidently and securely they have attached to the staff members that have cared for them at the different stages. Staff are very approachable regarding any query, and keep me updated daily with photographs etc. Significant transitions (eg from room to room or potty training) have been managed so thoughtfully and respectfully. The activities that are planned for them are so very creative, and the setting has really helped them with social confidence.

We are able to access the app anytime and see what she's been up to that day, lunch/toilet/nap etc. They get a variety of food and snacks. They provide entertainment for the kids by Jo Jingles and other musicians. We highly recommend it. Thank you!

My son has been attending for nearly a year and we only have good words for the nursery. Excellent staff who really care about the children. Lots of activities. Varied menu. Good communication with parents.

Our daughter has attended Kids@BT9 since I returned to work when she was nine months old. I'm thrilled with the care she has received there from the baby room, right up to the junior preschool she's in now. All the staff clearly care for the children under their charge, and the best compliment I can give is that my daughter can't wait to get there and doesn't look back when I drop her off!

My son recently joined the nursery and I have to say the standard of care is excellent. The staff are all great and very helpful. Extra care and measures put in place because of Covid in order to keep everyone safe. As a parent, I am kept informed daily through handovers and newsletters. I am able to see pictures of my son and his activities.

Kids@BT9 is a brilliant nursery. The care they provide is outstanding and they are always stimulating the children with fun activities. The 'My NurseryPal' is updated regularly which gives peace of mind and it's great seeing pictures of my child having so much fun. The staff are so friendly and caring. In my opinion, they give the best care and support. I could not wish to send my child to a better nursery.

My 3-month-old baby boy has been attending Kids@BT9 for the past month and has settled in very well. As a first-time mum, I was very worried about leaving my child in this current climate, although the staff within the baby room reassured me and I was able to put a lot of trust in them. The nursery app is brilliant as the staff are always keeping me updated every day about my child's day as well as sharing photos of the activities. I would recommend this nursery to anyone as it offers high-quality care.
