Kids@BT9, first opened in March 2011 and offers a loving, homely environment for children.

The nursery was originally two large, detached houses which have been renovated, equipped and resourced to provide a bright and stimulating environment for children.

The baby unit provides care for from birth to two years old. Each room offers age appropriate activities and resources with separate sleeping facilities.

The pre-school and junior pre-school building offers a fun-filled busy day for all the children. The pre-school curriculum is complemented by weekly visits from Jo Jingles.

The garden is divided for each age group with plenty of room to run around, explore and climb on an adventure playground.

The children love to share a story on the large story-telling seat.

Learning through play and developing the six areas of learning, helps the team to ensure every child’s individual needs are met.

Kids@BT9 is an excellent nursery with dedicated and caring staff. My son has been attending this nursery for almost two years and is very happy here. He regularly doesn’t want to come home when we come to collect him!
The pre-school onsite has worked so well for us as our son could stay in a familiar
environment and the wrap around care is all in the same place, I would definitely recommend this to other parents.

Our experience with Kids@BT9 has been excellent. Our 4yr old son has been there for the last 2 years and has really been happy there. The staff in both the rooms he has been in are all very nice and the manager is also excellent. The facilities are great and the preschool better than what is available
in local schools with an 8:1 ratio. I also appreciate the trips and visits they organise (for which there is no extra charge) unlike some other nurseries. I cannot recommend it enough!

The whole team at Kids@BT9 do an excellent job overall. Naturally, a parent is very apprehensive about leaving their 1-year-old in someone else's care for the first time, but our minds were put at ease very quickly, as they provide a very safe and wholesome environment for the children. I would highly

The staff at Kids@BT9 are great. Very attentive to the kid's needs - always coming up with new innovative play activities to help them learn and grow. They really care about the kids and it’s truly a lovely place to drop your wee one into - you know they’ll be in good hands.


Also, the kids definitely

get great quality food and lots of it and the facilities are excellent.

There is nothing bad I could say about Kids@bt9! My child is in the preschool room, and she runs to the door every morning. She is greeted by the preschool team with enthusiasm and a smile and the care they give is second to none. I can see how well my wee one is developing and she is going to be well
prepared for heading off to primary one. Kids@bt9 have such a wide range of activities, for example, a visit from the police a few days ago, my child talked about it all evening when she got home! I couldn’t think of a better nursery for my child to attend and I would highly recommend it.
P.S loving the new iPad system, can’t wait for it to go live!

My son has been with Kids@BT9 since 6 months old and has moved through all the rooms and is now in pre-school. All the staff have shown care and attention to my child's needs. Each day I receive a comprehensive handover on what he has eaten, slept, toileted and the activities he has enjoyed. He cries
leaving as he wants to stay. It's brilliant and would recommend to any parent looking for first class childcare.

My child has been in Kids@BT9 since 2016 and they will be joining their pre-school this September. Every room has shown love and care towards my son and all of the girls are flawless between making me birthday cards, giving my son those extra cuddles and genuinely having a positive attitude towards
working. The manager herself is always welcoming me in the mornings with a big smile and her deputy couldn't be nicer. I couldn't be nicer. I couldn't recommend Kids@BT9 enough.

I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone in the Belfast area. The building is fresh and clean and the staff are so welcoming. All the staff show a high standard of care towards my daughter, throughout her day. She is given the opportunity to grow and develop her learning.

I was so nervous about dropping my child off to nursery as she had never been to any playgroups etc before and didn’t know how she would react. The girls in the Tweenie Room put me at such ease and everyone was so friendly! The manager talked me step by step through the settling in process and I was
able to leave knowing that my daughter was in safe hands. She now runs in through the door in the morning and it’s such a great feeling to know how much she enjoys nursery. I had previously looked around 5+ other nurseries but none compared to Kids@BT9.

I had the wonderful experience of seeing my son perform in his first nativity in preschool at Kids@BT9. The staff had clearly put in a lot of hard work and it was clear to see that the children thoroughly enjoyed themselves. I continue to be impressed by the units dedication, communication both face
to face and through regular newsletters, relevant themes each month to stimulate learning and enjoyment and day trips to local facilities. My son has made some close friends and forged close bonds with the staff also.

I have experience in numerous nursery settings in NI and abroad over the years. I've also tried in-house nannies. All have been good but I keep coming back to Kids@BT9. They've had all five of my kids now! Whilst the facilities cannot be bettered in South Belfast (large, new, clean, garden etc) it really
is all about the people, the staff are wonderful across the board. Leadership from the manageress is outstanding - the proof being in the retaining of staff (after a three-year hiatus all the same faces were still there!) Unheard of in an environment with usually such rapid staff turnover. Highly highly recommend.

Our son has been attending Kids@BT9 for nearly 2 years - he absolutely loves it. The staff are so friendly and approachable. Fantastic with the children. The nursery who provides a great education for kids in their developing years with relevant themes every month such as 'All about me' exploring each
child's individuality and cooks their own food on site, which is actually hard to find in nurseries. They provide excellent feedback in our son's development with a very informative rundown of his day, every day.

This is the second time we have used Kids@BT9 for our children. I haven't come across any other nursery that immediately satisfied all my initial needs in terms of comfort and security of the environment, visual appeal to decor to assist in sensory impact and a sense of a combined and happy team who
are proud and happy to be there for the children. Every aspect of Kids@BT9 is of the highest standard, driven by a strong management team who ensures everything is impeccable for the children. I have recommended it to others on multiple occasions and will continue to do so.

We have just relocated from Belfast to Glasgow, which meant we had to take our son out of this wonderful nursery. For me, it was actually the worst part of leaving. Our son was very well cared for by the lovely staff and management. He was in the baby room and then the wobblers room. The staff in
both are fantastic and took a real interest in our son's development and personality. Management is lovely to deal with and take the time to get to know the parents and their needs, as well as those of the child. Meals are great, and reporting at the end of each day is thorough. Our son really loved it here. I couldn't have wished for a better nursery - there's just one problem. I can't lift the nursery and bring it over to Glasgow!

My daughter is 14 months old and has been attending Kids@BT9 since she was 8 months old. She loves coming to nursery and seeing the girls who look after her - she beams from ear to ear and hardly notices when I leave! As she is happy, I am happy!

As our child leaves Kids@BT9 to move on to P1, I reflect on how wise a decision we made when selecting Kids@BT9 for our daughter's care. She began in the baby room at 9 months old and moved through the various rooms, including Kids@BT9's own Pre-school.


The nursery caters for 5 stages of development

in 5 rooms. The surroundings are very clean, bright, spacious, fun and stimulating. The outdoor play gardens are also very well equipped and designed. The thought of leaving our child in the care of anyone other than ourselves was daunting, but we were immediately impressed by the friendliness, commitment, professionalism and caring nature of all the staff. I was impressed by the availability of policies to view, with evidence that policies and best practice were being followed.


Kids@BT9 has been a very safe, happy, fun, stimulating and caring environment for our daughter to develop. The staff have all been wonderful and we've come to think of them as part of the family. Thank you!

Our little boy has been attending Kids @ BT9 since November 2014. He absolutely adores going there and chats about his wee friends and the staff when he comes home. The staff are very hard working and super with the children. The Manager is so accommodating and certainly knows her job inside out. We
will be sad when our son leaves in June 2018. He has learnt so much at nursery and wouldn't be the wee boy he is today. Thank you so much to all the staff at Kits @ BT9.
