Norfolk House Nursery - Norfolk Road

A really lovely, homely nursery where you feel like they really care about your child. We’ve been very happy here and our son loves it! Particularly like the additional activities they offer, e.g. forest school and toddler tennis.

The nursery has exceeded my expectations! The dedicated staff creates a safe and stimulating environment. My child loves going there, and I appreciate the thoughtful activities that support their development. Excellent communication and a truly caring atmosphere!

We couldn't praise this nursery enough. Our son was incredibly well supported in settling in and, though this was hard for him, we felt he was in great hands and he now practically runs in, excited to start his day. The staff have been brilliant. He engages in a wide range of activities and has clearly bonded well with staff members. Our son has some dietary needs and this has been no problem. The nursery has been very accommodating and he eats a great range of foods. The staff clearly care so much about all of the children and are exceptional in what they do.

Norfolk House Nursery, Norfolk Road is a fantastic nursery. The staff are friendly, hard-working, diligent and overall excellent at their jobs. My daughter started 2 months ago and has taken to the staff very well and I believe that is a reflection of the warm and friendly culture of the nursery.

A wonderful nursery that is incredibly well-run and the staff really care. My son gets so excited when we drop him off. He really enjoys his time here. He has gluten and dairy allergies and the chef caters no problem, and the staff are all aware and are so vigilant. When playing/cooking they also always ensure he is included and has safe options. Excellent safeguarding policies are in place and lots of stay and play activities and opportunities. The garden/outdoor space is absolutely incredible.

Great nursery - our daughter loves going there, the staff are very friendly and we as parents have high confidence in them. Facilities are good, with large outdoor space. Excellent range of activities, promoting child development.

Our son has been at Norfolk for nearly two years now and we have had a brilliant experience with them. He is well looked after and is learning so much and gaining so much confidence every week. The level of care, facilities and teaching is wonderful. Any issues or questions you may have are taken seriously and resolved as soon as possible. The staff are just lovely and so welcoming and friendly.

This nursery is brilliant. All staff are very pleasant and all children appear to enjoy their day. We always have a very thorough handover at the end of each day, which provides comfort to know our child has been cared after appropriately. This is a great nursery with great people running it.

Norfolk House is a fantastic nursery. It has a lovely atmosphere and the staff seem to work very well together as a team. They are kind and thoughtful. My daughter really enjoys the extra activities like Forest School.

Although the staff are lovely, I don’t believe they’re very consistent with their approach to providing care for my child or their approach with filling in my child’s daily book/medical paperwork etc. I find myself calling quite regularly to get further information on things I usually ask for on a daily basis as it’s not always the same person managing the room/my child.

I also find the technology is quite outdated when it comes to requesting pictures of my child throughout the day and the activities they’ve been involved in etc.

The parent app currently has not benefited me as a parent; it doesn’t have any real sufficient information about child’s development etc and all ‘news’ messages are emailed to parents anyway so it’s just a duplication of information but again, it’s not of all events taking place that impact my child as I’m asked about the adhoc event days either in person or given a letter about the event as it can require additional payments etc.

They show care and attention to the babies, and my little one loves baking with one member of staff. The room leaders always have plenty of messy activities to keep the babies entertained, which is fab!

They have thrived while being there and have become very fond of some of the teaching staff, especially in pre-school at Norfolk House.

The nursery was amazing when we settled our 11-month-old. They were so kind and thoughtful. They made his transition to nursery a happy experience with being so caring and supportive. He has settled really well into nursery, and I never have any concerns leaving him. They do lovely play sessions and lots of crafts/baking that he has really enjoyed. The staff are amazing.

My son transferred to Norfolk House from another nursery I wasn't happy with. The staff were incredibly nice and reassuring and they have looked after him incredibly well since he joined. The managers are always reliable and easy to contact.

Absolutely amazing nursery. The love and care that the staff show to the children is undeniable! My eldest son went to nursery here, followed by his younger brother (who still attends) and I must say it is one of the best decisions I have ever made for my boys. Keep doing what you are doing ladies.

Our child has been at the nursery for over two years since Babies 1, Now in pre-school who are doing an excellent job. She loved every room and the journey has helped her flourish in all the activities in nursery. Our child loves the daily meals provided. The team go out of its way to go above the usual requirements, providing regular stay and plays, and additional activities, all of which the children love. Thanks, to all of the team we really appreciate your hard work!

Norfolk House Nursery has been absolutely wonderful in nurturing my two children. My daughter attended between the age of 2-5 and my son has been there since the age of 2 also. They have both been in preschool for the duration of their time there. All the staff there are wonderful and know all their children personally. It's a joy to see the children having a great time through play and learning. I have always recommended this nursery to friends and family and will continue to do so. Thank you, Norfolk House Nursery.
