Norfolk House Nursery - Norfolk Road

The nursery has yet again exceeded my expectations of what an early years setting should be like. From the detailed parent's evening meeting, (that clearly showed how well staff know the children in their rooms), to their support during difficult nap transitions. Norfolk House Nursery - Norfolk Road excels in their professional performance as well as excelling in their personal nature towards all children and parents. Thank you for your continued support in taking care of and academically developing my daughter.

My little girl has been at Norfolk House Nursery for 18 months now. I'm very happy to know that she spends her time in such a lovely setting with great staff. She takes part in many activities and is happy to play with her friends each day, it has been great watching those bonds emerge. Nursery holds regular stay and play sessions, which are a nice chance to see what she gets up to.

My little boy is so happy here. He loves the staff who are all so warm, welcoming and kind and look after him so well. He gets to do so many wonderful activities and has learnt so much during his time here.

We are very happy with Norfolk House Nursery - Norfolk Road. The staff go above and beyond for all the children and they really look after the children very well. My son absolutely loves the nursery. There is a variety of nutritious food served daily. Thank you for being a very caring and wonderful nursery.

The nursery has exceeded my expectations. My child has been there for two years now, and we have seen him flourish and build strong bonds with the nursery staff who clearly take pride in caring for our little one.

My niece is really happy At Norfolk House and she is developing really well. She talks about the nursery all of the time when I come to visit her or she comes to visit me, letting me know everything that goes off throughout the day.

Norfolk House is a lovely environment that involves family members in reading stories to the young ones. My niece attends Norfolk House and I was invited to read a story to the pre-school class. I was welcomed and thanked. Overall, a lovely experience and seemed a super place where my niece is very happy.

We had our twins attend Norfolk House for a year before they started school; our experience was very positive. The nursery has a great ethos and fantastic staff who really care for the children and provide a warm, welcoming and friendly environment. Staff at the nursery are what separate good nurseries from bad ones; the staff here are long-term and are all very experienced, and even the younger staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. The environment is a great mix of play and learning, with lots of outdoor activities such as forest school which introduces children to creatures and promotes outdoor learning and play. There are many activities and events which involve parents. In my opinion, this nursery is exceptional and I highly recommend it.

Little one is loving being at nursery. She has settled well since she started. She’s learning so much and making new friends. Learning all the skills she needs for the future. She is very happy. She loves the routine.

I have attended Norfolk House Nursery on a few occasions for my niece's performances and events. I attended her Halloween performance, Christmas Nativity and Easter service. We absolutely love attending these special moments and coming along to Norfolk House. The staff are always accommodating, polite, caring and happy. We have always felt so welcome and special when we’ve attended. The nursery itself is beautiful! The facilities are spotless, it always smells so clean and tidy. The outside forest school is one of the best I’ve seen and the children gain so much from playing outside in forest school and being offered so many different experiences outside. They offer so many fun activities for all the children of all ages, including special family-attended experiences like the car wash, fireworks, story reading and fates. The progress the children make at Norfolk House is a good representation of the staff, their expectations and Norfolk House as a whole. We cannot wait to be involved in all the fun again!

My son started Norfolk Road Nursery in January when he was 13 months old. At first, he had slight separation anxiety, however, he overcame it swiftly due to the warm nature of all the staff. He has been at nursery for 3 months and has developed in many aspects. He is gaining confidence each week and has become very outgoing. As parents, we are extremely delighted with how his character is developing and are grateful to all the nursery staff for their efforts and support. My son started nursery when his brother was only 4 weeks so there was a lot of change in his life; the nursery did their utmost best to welcome my son and create a comfortable environment for him which we are very grateful for, as a result, he has settled in exceptionally well and absolutely loves nursery! Staff are very friendly, you definitely won’t regret sending your child here!

We have been at the nursery for 3 years now and all I can say is the staff are fantastic! They are always arranging fun activities and thinking ahead of ways to keep little ones stimulated. They build great bonds with the children. I love the effort they put into the events also. The food is great, has an on-site personal chef. Nursery managers are also very approachable if you want to discuss any issues and are always quick to keep improving.

As a first-time mother, I was very nervous putting my son into full-time nursery having spent a wonderful year off on maternity leave. I can honestly say the support and communication I received through such a difficult transition period for both of us was exceptional! Presently my son is three months into his journey at nursery and it is so heartwarming to see the relationship he has built with staff members I want to thank three staff members in particular for playing such an integral part in his development. Staff from other rooms are very friendly it’s really nice to see how they know my son's name he isn’t just another child at the nursery this attention to detail and friendly nature of each staff member shows how I made the best decision in sending my son to Norfolk House Nursery. He has flourished through such a friendly, safe environment. He now looks forward to nursery and runs inside every morning I drop him off. One of the best feelings as a mother is knowing my son is settled and happy.

We started at the nursery this year and our child has been made very welcome. We feel all his needs have been accommodated for and our child is really enjoying going to nursery. Thank you to the staff for being so attentive and helpful.

In conclusion, I am delighted with the experience my daughter has had at Norfolk House Nursery. The excellent care, dedicated staff, comprehensive curriculum, and enriching activities have had a profound impact on her development. Seeing her happy and chatty about her day is a testament to Norfolk House's commitment to providing the best possible education.

The nursery is set within a welcoming environment and has small room sizes, sufficient staff cover and overlap with key workers. The hours of 7-7 suit well for working parents and the staff are very flexible with drop off and pick up times. Staff are caring, provide useful updates and progress throughout the year and are receptive to queries and concerns. The physical environment, food, facilities and access to clubs and activities are wide-ranging.

Clear to see why Ofsted is consistently rating this nursery as Oustanding. My 11-month-old son has been attending the nursery for the past month and the staff have been fantastic at helping him to settle in. The activities that he is doing daily, far exceed what me and my wife could do with him at home. I receive an in-depth handover each time we collect him and I can already see how much more developed he is than when he started (wasn't crawling before, but after 1 week of nursery has found his confidence and is now crawling confidently with numerous other development accomplishments noted).

What an amazing nursery! My son has become such a funny, confident little boy during his time at Norfolk House and I am constantly amazed at how much he has learnt. The staff are exceptionally caring and supportive. When his baby sister arrived just 3 months after he started, they had already created such a stable, happy environment for him at nursery which was invaluable in helping him adjust to this huge change in his life and I am incredibly grateful. Other standout features include the huge inspiring garden and the regular themed stay-and-plays where I get to witness first-hand the close bonds he has developed with the staff and other children. It’s funny because Norfolk House was not actually my first choice when viewing nurseries, but I am so very glad that we chose this nursery in the end as it is clear that my son has a great time every day surrounded by people who genuinely care about him. The only problem is getting him to leave at the end of the day! Thank you Norfolk House.
