Greengables Day Nursery (Owlsmoor)

Greengables has always been fantastic with our son, and we have always felt safe and confident leaving him the girls care. He always comes home smiling, talking about his teachers, which makes us feel at peace knowing he's had a good day. We get good updates through the app on what he's been up to. Definitely would recommend this nursery.

Had such a lovely experience with Greengables! Everyone is so friendly and caring. My child settled in so well, and we're constantly updated and informed on progress and daily activities.

I wouldn't have gone back to work without the help and support from Greengables Day Nursery (Owlsmoor). The staff are kind, professional and address each and every query with care. It is always assuring to see my child happy at the end of every day. She settled very well and I can't thank the staffs at Greengables Day Nursery (Owlsmoor) enough. Highly recommend this nursery.

My 2-year-old son has been attending Greengables for 4 months now and is thoroughly enjoying his time there. It's taking a while for him to settle at drop off, we still have tears but the staff are very patient and understanding and he calms very quickly once in the room. In the months he has been attending, I've seen him learn new words and start to learn actions to songs, and develop his ways of communication. The covid protocols at the nursery are excellent and the communication to and from the nursery is very good. I would highly recommend Greengables to anyone.

This is an amazing nursery and my daughter loves it. The staff are amazing and have been so helpful over the last few months. I love that they make healthy food on-site for all the kids and are always changing the toys and learning so there's always something new for my daughter to play with and learn. The app is great, it's the highlight to my day when I get photos and updates whilst at work which show what she is getting up to with her friends!

Greengables is a great nursery. Our daughter has been going since she was 13 months old and is now nearly 3. The way they have handled the Covid pandemic has been brilliant with excellent communication throughout. Thank you to all the staff and especially those in Bumblebees! Couldn’t recommend the nursery highly enough.

Amazing place and fantastic people. My daughter started in the baby room, now she's in pre-school. All rooms are great and support the child's development - from speech and building up confidence to potty training. Would highly recommend. Our little boy will be starting soon too.

A lovely well run nursery who care for each and every child individually. Always there to help and I feel more than happy that my twins have had the best start with the help of the wonderful staff. Could not recommend more.

Throughout the changes that have been enforced due to covid, what could have been a scary time for the children, has been dealt with brilliantly at every turn, and I never have any doubts about her wellbeing when I drop her off and look forward to her telling me about all the exciting things she has achieved when I pick her up! Well done to the manager and team and a special mention to one of the girls in pre-school!

I’m so glad I chose Greengables Day Nursery.

My son started at Greengables in June 2020 and has come on so well in the last 4-months. This has been due to the lovely staff who have helped him settle in and provided a caring and supportive environment. His speaking and vocabulary have improved dramatically along with his social skills, and it is such a delight to see. Particularly as he lost a lot of his confidence during lockdown when it came to interacting with other children. The staff communication is excellent with daily handovers and a weekly newsletter, which tells you all the learning activities they have been doing during the week. Drop off and pick up is well organised as well with social distancing measures in place. There is a nutritious tasty menu, and since going to Greengables, my son has become much more adventurous with his food. My son really enjoys going to nursery and returns home very happy, full of new words and eager to try new things and learn.

We are very happy with this nursery and fortunate that our child can be cared for by this nursery. Keyworkers and carers are brilliant and very helpful for our child's development. They are very approachable if we need to discuss our child's strengths and weaknesses; they are happy to listen and adjust his development plan if we feel that we need extra help with a weakness area. Some of the carers are very informative at pick up time in terms of giving you daily feedback on your child's day. The nursery is always open to feedback and suggestions, and we know they take seriously the parents' observations, recommendations, complaints etc. All in all, we are very happy here.

After looking at what seemed like a million nurseries over a period of about 2-months, Greengables was the last nursery I looked at and was by far the best! Honestly, nothing I saw could even slightly compare. The whole atmosphere of the nursery is perfect for children of all ages and abilities. When my little one started here, he couldn't walk or talk and was scared of everything, but Greengables has completely transformed him and has helped him develop in so many ways. They care about each individual child, and their needs and everything is so personal. I couldn't recommend Greengables enough!

I would highly recommend Greengables to any parents looking for a potential nursery. We have two children who both attend and it is an excellent nursery that really cares about the well-being and development of our boys. All the staff are very friendly and take time to update us on what they have been doing each day.

Our daughter started at Greengables back in August, and even though we are not allowed into the building, the amazing staff have made us feel so reassured and comfortable. The staff have been so kind, welcoming and friendly and are always updating us. I highly recommend this nursery.

Great purpose-built nursery and good garden space for the children to explore. They have been great with the current pandemic giving out activities weekly for children to do at home. Staff all friendly and caring.

Super nursery. My daughter attended during the lockdown, and she has been so happy from her first day and has stayed despite our lengthy round trip. The manager and team do a fantastic job, and the quality of the activities, education and planning to the quality and variety in the meals provided (hats off to a probably under-appreciated chef) has been superb. The staff have coped and managed the children so well with the new world and rules, and the administrative team have been very supportive in our transition to funding at 3-years, and I anticipate will be with our future move up to ‘big school’.
