Greengables Day Nursery (Owlsmoor)

My son attended this nursery prior to attending school. During his time, he was always eager to attend and excited to go. He has started this school and has taken to it very well. He has taken the whole transition in his stride, and I am in no doubt that this is down to the amazing staff that cared for him. I highly recommend this nursery.

Our daughter started here two years ago after moving into the area. I can't praise this nursery enough. They are supportive and encouraging. Each child is treated as an individual. The staff and management are excellent. Communication is fantastic. The events held really give parents an opportunity to be a part of nursery life. The use of the app to see photos and reports is really useful. The staff are really engaging and you get the impression that they genuinely enjoy their jobs. Staff turnover is not high, a testament to the company. If I had more children, I would send them here in a heartbeat.

My son has been attending Greengables since May 2017 and has thrived there. The team are very attentive, positive, engaging and focus on play as well as developing the children with their language, writing and knowledge on all sorts of things, including the fact that you can’t burp in space or at least that’s what my son has told me! Their activities are great and always changing, he loves the outside space and the food is varied, very healthy and tasty - he loves it!

The staff care. Genuinely want to connect with each child, get to know them. We had worried about my daughter moving from her previous childcare setting and she had a history of finding it difficult to settle. Best part of 2 years on and she's confident and she is completely prepared for big school next week. She can write well (for a 4-year-old) and is so excited to learn. When she has had a quiet or sad day, they look after her like I would want on a down day. When she's crazy/excited they bounce off her energy. I think they have gotten the mix of staff just right here to be adaptable to any situation or mood. COVID times have been rubbish but my daughter certainly hasn't felt it. Sad to be leaving but my youngest will definitely be making an appearance when the time comes.

I cannot praise Greengables enough for the great work they do. The premises is always sparkling clean which must be so tough to do with so many sticky hands around. The food they have is exceptional and the chefs are as caring as the room staff. My son went from 9 months until he left for school and was in every room. The staff made him feel comfortable, he thoroughly enjoyed his time and learnt so much. My daughter is there now and wow what a difference in child since she’s been there. Her confidence is through the roof. The fees I think are exceptional for the amount of love and care the children get. The parents app is top class and I can see what she is up to all day long from nappy changes to the videos of the activities she does. The smile on her face at the end of every day just shows the kind of place it is. Would recommend to anyone and pro actively do so.

My son started with Greengables in July and has settled in so well. I have seen a massive change in his development which is fantastic. My daughter also previously attended and so I have always had such a positive experience. All the staff are amazing and go above and beyond and treat my children like their own. 5 star and highly recommended.

He is really going to miss Greengables and all the staff when he leaves to start school in September.

My son has been attending Greengables since he was 4-months-old and he has loved it from the very beginning. Greengables has always met ours and our son's needs but during this pandemic the have been extraordinary. They have adapted so much to ensure the environment is a safe place to enter and everything has been so smooth and well organised. I couldn't fault Greengables in any aspect of their care and learning for our son. They have helped him to develop into the little man he is today. I would 100% recommend Greengables to anyone looking for childcare. The outside space is phenomenal which our son absolutely loves.

I would highly recommend Greengables to any prospective parent as the staff here are driven to make the children thrive.

I can't thank or praise the team at Greengables enough. My two children have recently started back and I have been reassured every step of the way. They have both settled back in brilliantly and this is thanks to the wonderful team. They have always been on hand to answer any questions - no matter how small. The team are so welcoming and have been great at communicating to parents during these very uncertain times.

I would highly recommend this nursery. The staff are exceptional, and my two boys (aged 1 & 3) really enjoy going. The staff really take the time to help settle children in and genuinely care about their development. All staff are very friendly and approachable. The outside space is great and the inside is well thought out. We have also been highly impressed with the management and communication throughout the Coronavirus pandemic.

My daughter has been attending this nursery for the last 4 months and absolutely loves it. I was quite concerned when she first started that she wouldn’t settle as she is quite a clingy baby but I was delighted at how quickly she took to it and all the staff. The staff are so friendly and caring and you can tell they genuinely love their job and all the children. Would recommend this nursery in a heartbeat. Thanks for all your hard work and support!

Greengables was actually the only nursery we looked at because we didn't need to look at any more, Greengables felt like a great place to send our daughter. From the beginning we've felt very happy and confident sending her there. This comes from the great staff, their creativity, communication and overall approach. I'll be sad to say goodbye when she moves to school, but also really pleased that she went there. It's a lovely local community and we made the right choice.

My daughter loves attending Greenables and looks forward to attending. I am always impressed with the variety of activities available. Also the outside space is great, which for us was very important as my little one loves being outdoors. Staff are lovely and always warm and welcoming when we arrive.

Where do I start? This nursery is absolutely fantastic and I recommend it to everyone I meet. It is so well run, and the staff are so caring, thoughtful, professional, encouraging with my children and they really treat them like their own family. Both of my children have been at this nursery since 12 months old, and they have developed so much during this time. The staff really take a genuine interest in what your child is learning, and you work together with them on this. There is so much variety in each room, and the outside space is absolutely fantastic. If you are looking for a place for your child to have a home from home, you should definitely choose this nursery. You won't be disappointed.

I have been very impressed with the care and support my son has received during this difficult period and dealing with Covid-19. Staff care of my son has remained at a high level and staff always continue to welcome us with a smile and are very friendly. I have been satisfied with the measures the nursery has taken to during Covid-19 and felt they prioritised the health and well-being of my son and his friends. Thank you to all staff for all that you have done to support our family during this challenging time.

Since viewing Greengables, I couldn’t have felt more welcome and comfortable to place my daughter in their care. My daughter loves it there, I find she is so sociable and learns a lot from the days she attends. Greengables always keep me updated on her progress, milestones, meal information and just general communications. I have absolutely no reservations in recommending Greengables and have already signed my newborn son up to attend in the future. My daughter started in the caterpillars room in March 2020. The team are incredibly flexible, willing to keep to her routine which was so important to us. She built bonds so quickly with a number of the team and settled in far more quickly than I could have ever imagined. All the staff at Greengables are so warm and friendly, all willing to go above and beyond for the children and their families. The hours of drop off and collection are very flexible, in fact more flexible than any other nursery in the area when we were viewing. We are also so impressed with how Greengables prepares the older children for school and this is one of the main reasons why we chose them, we were absolutely right in our decision.
