Greengables Day Nursery, in Sandhurst, has been purpose-built to offer a spacious and comfortable learning environment for children. They have also obtained their Silver Eco-Schools Award.

All children get daily access to the well-resourced garden as the nursery recognises the positive impact that outdoor play has on a child's social, emotional and physical development.

Greengables Day Nursery also offer the extracurricular activity of Usports every Wednesday for the Preschool room.

The nursery is open from 7.30 to 6.30 and offers a fully inclusive package, helping to support busy parents through an exceptional service.

I'm so happy we found Greengables Day Nursery for our daughter, from the moment we visited for a tour I knew it was the right place for her. Everyone is always so friendly, welcoming and takes the time to get to know every child and parent really well. The space is calm and beautiful and the children
spend a lot of time outside in the lovely outdoor space which was really important to us. My daughter wears hearing aids and the Greengables staff have really gone above and beyond to support her and meet her needs, we have been so amazed by everything they've done to give her the best start possible, we couldn't ask for more! She absolutely loves going to nursery and loves all the staff in her room. The food is also great, it's good to see the updates on the app and they've been very accommodating with her dietary requirements. All the staff got to know my daughter so well right from day one, helping her have a smooth transition when she first started. We'd definitely recommend Greengables to everyone!

My daughter, started in September, in the baby room and has taken some time to find her stride, in her new environment. The staff have been absolutely amazing at helping her find her feet, while she goes at her own pace. The staff are all absolutely lovely. They always have time to chat things through,
if needed and are brilliant at keeping us, as parents, informed. Thank you so much.

All the staff at Greengables Day Nursery are very friendly and helpful. They really helped my child settle in when she moved due to the pandemic. She has flourished at this preschool with the help of the staff. They have encouraged her to do the things she loves and supported and guided her with things
she has found hard to learn. I would recommend this preschool to any parent who wants a safe, loving environment for their child to be happy and learn in, they have made sure my child is ready for reception and excited to move on. Thank you to all the staff for helping my child on her journey.

We have used the nursery for both our children as when we had our tour, there was no doubt that this was a place our children would love. Throughout their time at the nursery, the staff have been amazing and we are so grateful for their help and support in getting our children to flourish. We are sad
that it is now time for the second to leave but would highly recommend this setting to anyone!

I am so pleased I picked Greengables as the nursery for our daughter. She started when she was only 10-months-old and she loves it. The team are great at keeping me updated and letting me know how she’s got on every day. This week I had the opportunity to pick her up earlier than normal and I was able
to enter her room and watch her without her noticing. She was so content, happy and relaxed, listening to storytime, it was almost a shame to bring her home. Thank you in particular to the team in the Caterpillar room, you have really eased any initial worries I had about leaving my precious little one when I went back to work. Thank you Greengables, would recommend to anyone.

I think I am honestly Greengables Owlsmoor number one fan! This nursery is the best thing to have ever happened to my 17-month-old son. I have seen how he has developed as a direct result of the care and personal investment by the staff in ladybirds, all the teacher friends and Greengables staff. My
little one was welcomed from day one and he is always so happy to be at school. He has fond attachments with many of the staff at Greengables and that is reassuring for us as parents to know our little one is happy, independent and confident. I cannot express enough how thankful we are for the kindness and support they have shown towards his development and character building. Truly excellent school.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to all the staff at Greengables, they have been an absolute pleasure to deal with. But more importantly, our 2-year-old son has been made very welcome in his first few weeks of nursery. He has been a bit shy after not spending much time with other children during
the multiple lockdowns etc. and the staff have done a fantastic job at building his confidence and getting him involved in activities and mixing with the other kids. He always has a big smile on his face when we go to pick him up which is obviously lovely to see.

Constantly creating, endless nurturing and as ever professional! Examples for each have been consistent since our warm welcome and throughout. Given the current circumstances with a pandemic, we could not be happier with the response from the team in an environment that has been suitably adapted. Evidence
of our children's growth is often complemented by small gems we receive as updates throughout our day (telephone application). Safe to say our children are thriving in a great setting. It's easy to be biassed towards our key carers but our thanks are extended to all staff members. We really couldn't ask for more from Greengables.

Greengables has always been fantastic with our son, and we have always felt safe and confident leaving him the girls care. He always comes home smiling, talking about his teachers, which makes us feel at peace knowing he's had a good day. We get good updates through the app on what he's been up to.

Julia Grant

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2015

Julia is the Manager of Greengables Day Nursery in Owlsmoor and has a wealth of experience, having worked in the early years sector for over 20 years. Julia joined Childbase in 2015 as a Deputy Manager at Greengables and later transferred to West Downs to take on the role of Nursery Manager at another Childbase Nursery. Julia has now returned to Greengables as Manager.


What is your favourite feature of Greengables?
I love that Greengables is all on one level, with every room having its own access to its own decks and garden.


What are you most proud of about your nursery/team?
I love the team culture at Greengables; everyone looks out for each other.
