Greengables Day Nursery, in Sandhurst, has been purpose-built to offer a spacious and comfortable learning environment for children. They have also obtained their Silver Eco-Schools Award.

All children get daily access to the well-resourced garden as the nursery recognises the positive impact that outdoor play has on a child's social, emotional and physical development.

Greengables Day Nursery also offer the extracurricular activity of Usports every Wednesday for the Preschool room.

The nursery is open from 7.30 to 6.30 and offers a fully inclusive package, helping to support busy parents through an exceptional service.

Cannot fault this nursery. Nothing is too much trouble! Being an anxious first-time mum they really supported me and continue to support me and my daughter while she’s at nursery. She loves coming here and asks in her days at home if she can go in! Thank you Greengables for all your hard work!

We looked at lots of nurseries and nothing seemed to tick all of the boxes for us, until we visited Greengables. We knew pretty much straight away that this was the one. The outside space is lovely; with lots of different activities and equipment, this was really important to us as our little one loves
to spend time outside. The health and safety aspect here is also great, our son has a nut/peanut allergy and I fully trust the precautions put in place for his safety. He's also recently had a medical procedure which requires some extra care and applications of medicine etc, and the team have been very supportive and reassuring. Our son has built strong relationships with all of the staff and his confidence has increased so much since starting here. He always has a lovely time, is learning loads, and the staff are brilliant!

We are very happy with Greengables Day Nursery, our daughter is thriving there. She has her key workers but interacts with all of the staff and is comfortable around them. We like that they greet the children directly, the team really care and it shows. We were nervous leaving her for the first time
but the staff were fantastic and helped her settle quickly. We notice changes in her development every week and the staff are encouraging with her. We enjoy getting development updates on the app and seeing the activities she gets up to. The food is nutritious with lots of variety and the rooms have so much for the children to play with. We did a lot of research and visited many nurseries but on our first visit to Greengables, we knew this was the nursery for us. The staff are providing a wonderful start to my daughter's learning journey. When we pick her up, she looks like she’s had the best time and always has a smile on her face. Thank you to all of the staff, you are amazing!

We did a lot of research and visited a lot of nurseries before we picked Greengables Day Nursery (Owlsmoor). Four years later both my boys go there and I'm so glad we chose them. The facilities are great, the daily routines are really good, with great meals and snacks, indoor and outdoor play, crafts,
singing, reading, drawing and tonnes more. But by far the most important thing is the people, the team at Greengables are fantastic, they really care about the children they look after and it shows.
Yesterday when I picked my youngest up I was talking to the staff about his day. He'd been really tired and slept much longer than usual at nap time. They said after an hour he'd woken up crying and they worried he'd had a nightmare. They cuddled him and he went straight back to sleep, and slept for another hour. That to me sums up everything that really makes Greengables great. When I can't be with my boys they are with people who care about them, play with them, teach them and give cuddles whenever they need them!

My son started at Greengables Day Nursery in the baby room and has moved to the toddler class and has settled in so well. The staff were so supportive and reassuring as a first-time mum, it can sometimes be tough leaving your little baby. His key worker keeps me updated on his progress, milestones and
always has time to talk at the end of the day. The app is updated regularly and provides up-to-date information about my son’s day including photos and videos demonstrating his development and daily activities. It gives me peace of mind to know that my son is well looked after and cared for throughout the day. He is fed a great variety of healthy meals and has the chance to be outdoors every day to explore and be creative. My son is always so happy and smiley to be at nursery, I would recommend Greengables to everyone.

My daughter has been at Greengables from the age of ten months up until starting school at the age of nearly 5. We could not be happier with the care and support that has been provided by Greengables over this time. My daughter has grown so much in confidence over her time here and we are very sad that

I’m so glad I was able to secure a place at Greengables Day Nursery for my daughter. She was a bit wary to start with, having never been away from me, but all of the staff really helped her to settle and were able to easily distract her with a range of activities. I love the outdoor area which is really

I started my daughter at Greengables Day Nursery in March and she has settled in so well, which is entirely thanks to the staff in the baby room. My daughter is well adjusted and loves her time at nursery. The staff have been fantastic and very supportive to me (first time worrying mum!) They have been
very reassuring and ensured really good communication with me to reassure me that my daughter is having a good day. The app is updated regularly and they always have time to talk about my child at the beginning and end of the day. I know that my daughter is well looked after and cared for throughout the day. She is also fed a great variety of healthy meals. I love that they have the opportunity to be outdoors every day and explore their surroundings. The management team were also great at finding us a space and fitting us in for reduced days to start with so that we had a gradual start to my daughter’s nursery life.

Our son started at Greengables Day Nursery a couple of years ago and our daughter started last year. We chose to travel to Sandhurst from Bracknell because the nursery has such a great friendly, professional and supportive feel. We have been very happy with the care here. The nursery manager has been
a real support, helping our son with overwhelming feelings at home and introduced us to the worry monster, who came for a home stay - which was a real success. They then went out of their way to support us with tips and tricks and helpful links and advice and we are very grateful. I recommend Greengables Day Nursery regularly and I am so pleased we found them. The staff there are amazing.

My daughter started in the Caterpillar room towards the end of last year and we couldn't be more thrilled that she is at Greengables Day Nursery! Her induction process and settling-in sessions were well organised and her key person and room leader took the time to really get to know our daughter. She
asked all about her developments and any areas we would like to focus on and they got started straight away on working on these. We felt immediately confident leaving our daughter with her and the team, everyone's confidence and commitment to care have been clear throughout. Everyone has made the effort to get to know our daughter and she is building some great relationships and is starting to really find her confidence and come out of her shell. We are kept up to date on all of her activities via the app, with pictures and information about naps and mealtimes.
We feel so lucky our daughter is at Greengables Day Nursery and can't wait to watch her flourish whilst under their exceptional care! Thank you!

Our son has been at Greengables since he was six months old and attends four days a week. He has been looked after in three separate rooms by a wide variety of practitioners and, frankly, we could not speak higher of all the staff at Greengables. We are delighted with the progress he has made in his
time there. They regularly update us with how he is doing against 0-3 criteria and the areas they are working on with him. There is always a variety of activities planned that appeal to a wide demographic and the children are always happy.
They go above and beyond. As a parent, I could ask for no more or recommend them highly enough.

My Daughter started in the Caterpillar room in July, and I am so happy with how well she has settled into the nursery! The staff have been great and are always there to give detailed feedback on her day and the app is always up to date for me to check on throughout the day. The morning drop-offs go
so smoothly and seeing my little one put her arms out to staff with a smile, is so lovely to know she has developed great relationships with her key worker and room-based staff. The nursery has really supported the weaning journey and given us great ideas to try at home, and now my daughter is a confident eater and loves meal times. It's been amazing to see the nursery environment change in just a few months my daughter has been at Greengables, and how new resources impact the children! My daughter loves walking with the push-along toys and will soon be off on her own. We couldn't be happier with our daughter's development and can't thank the staff enough for being so welcoming. We love Greengables!

I'm so happy we found Greengables Day Nursery for our daughter, from the moment we visited for a tour I knew it was the right place for her. Everyone is always so friendly, welcoming and takes the time to get to know every child and parent really well. The space is calm and beautiful and the children
spend a lot of time outside in the lovely outdoor space which was really important to us. My daughter wears hearing aids and the Greengables staff have really gone above and beyond to support her and meet her needs, we have been so amazed by everything they've done to give her the best start possible, we couldn't ask for more! She absolutely loves going to nursery and loves all the staff in her room. The food is also great, it's good to see the updates on the app and they've been very accommodating with her dietary requirements. All the staff got to know my daughter so well right from day one, helping her have a smooth transition when she first started. We'd definitely recommend Greengables to everyone!

Julia Grant

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2015

Julia is the Manager of Greengables Day Nursery in Owlsmoor and has a wealth of experience, having worked in the early years sector for over 20 years. Julia joined Childbase in 2015 as a Deputy Manager at Greengables and later transferred to West Downs to take on the role of Nursery Manager, at another Childbase Nursery. Julia has now returned to Greengables as Manager.


What is your favourite feature of Greengables?
I love that Greengables is all on one level with every room having its own access to its own decks and garden.


What are you most proud of about your nursery/team?
I love the team culture at Greengables, everyone looks out for each other.
