Greengables Day Nursery (Owlsmoor)

Excellent experience. My son's development has been brilliant. The cleanliness, education, food, welcome-ness - everything has exceeded expectations. Thoroughly recommend and will be using for any future children :)

I am always impressed by the lovely things my son gets up to and the in-depth feedback I receive at the end of the day.

The team at Greengables is fantastic, they go above and beyond for the children and are always happy to help. They are great role models for the children. The atmosphere is positive and it provides a caring, welcoming and safe environment. I would definitely recommend Greengables to anyone, particularly if you value learning through play experiences and young children being treated respectfully as little people where their individual uniqueness is valued and encouraged. A great early years experience, helping to provide a solid foundation for very young children which is all so important for their future health and wellbeing.

Greengables has become a part of our family. All of the staff are friendly, professional and helpful. My sons key worker is wonderful and understands his little nuances and how he likes to learn and play. It's clear they have a solid relationship and that he trusts and respects the staff. He has learned so much, including very good table manners and a better ability to share with others. He has also made some wonderful friends whom we have enjoyed spending time with outside of nursery too. The facilities are excellent, the food is excellent, and the range of activities and toys are brilliant. Toys are regularly updated to maintain the children's interest and reflect what they are expressing a desire to play with. On the rare occasions where I was unwell and needed an extra session at very short notice the team were always incredibly supportive. We feel very grateful to have such a wonderful nursery available to us and we are thrilled that our son is so happy there.

At the end of each day, I see a very happy little girl. That says it all!

We have been using this nursery since Jan 2013. It has evolved, grown character and become a very busy (in a good way) environment for the attending children. The staff are great, the management take constructive feedback on board and action as appropriately. We are very happy with the progress year on year and value the support and path taking our daughter into school later this year. Good work by all the team. Thank you.

Our daughter has attended the Pre School room at Greengables since September 2015 and has loved every minute. She has made some lovely friends and her confidence has come on in leaps and bounds. She has loved the variety of activities and the facilities available to her. The staff are always welcoming and friendly, always making the transition and hand over from parent happy and positive. The children are all well behaved with lovely values. There is great communication from Greengables - you are always kept updated and informed. The food is outstanding, all freshly cooked and healthy. Our daughter has been happy, safe and well cared for in her time at Greengables and is now ready for her next adventure at school.

A really lovely place for your child to be raised, everyone is approachable and you know your child is in very safe hands.

Choosing a nursery is really hard to do, and coming to the end of a day of 4 different viewings where we weren't sure at all, it was such a sigh of relief to see Greengables. It's very clean, purpose built, but what really made it stand out was the staff. They were enthusiastic and very knowledgeable about child development and that first impression hasn't faltered 18 months on. There has been a few minor incidents where I was perhaps a little unsatisfied but what won me back was the responsiveness to the feedback and evident changes made. Five stars, Love Greengables!

My daughter, when I pick her up, carried on playing which is a big sign she is so very happy. She eats well and gets on well with all the staff and children. She rarely wants to go home with me and wants to stay! :) She likes strong (crazy) personalities and will lean towards the staff members who are playful and funny. The staff are very good and get to know their children and are very passionate about what they do. This is music to parents ears who leave their children at nursery.

Extremely pleasant staff and very easy to talk to. I don't pick up often but they always recognise me and make me feel welcome. My son loves it!

I am a member of staff at the nursery and my child started, as I did, in August. He is in the Ladybirds room and the staff were so caring to his individual needs which made him settle very easily. There is an excellent menu which offers a balanced and healthy diet which I love, as does my son! The outdoor space is wonderful, and the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum is met and evident through the children's play and development. I would definitely recommend this nursery to others who are looking for their child to grow up in a stimulating and healthy environment.

The opening hours are a massive bonus and make our work hours possible !

I loved Greengables the moment I walked in the door - a really friendly and happy environment, which is perfect for what I wanted for my son. They make sure that every child is catered for with whatever the requirement is - my son is cows milk protein intolerant - and this was never an issue from the start.

The girls in the nursery are absolutely fantastic, my son is so genuinely happy to go there. I feel they care and get to know each child so well and tell you exactly what you need to know when you drop off /collect and not just a generic 'they had a nice day'. The work with each child to progress them. I don't have one bad thing to point out. I am totally relaxed when I leave him there.

It is testament that we both work in the opposite direction and we like it so much we won't move him to another nursery.

My son is soon to move up and I know he will have just as much fun in Ladybirds.

I am a qualified nursery practitioner, working at Greengables Day Nursery, where my daughter attends pre-school. The staff are friendly and always welcome my child with a smile. She loves playing outside in the nursery, exploring the nature garden and riding the bikes. There are regular fitness activities, where she can play football. My daughter enjoys playing with her friends and sharing news during circle time. She is so happy and confident, learning in all developmental areas. My little girl will be well prepared for school.

Greengables have put on a graduation party for the pre-school leavers including food and a bouncy castle, motar board and gown. Their summer fete is this Saturday and they have been preparing for weeks, well done Greengables. Excellent parental curricular.
