Greengables Day Nursery (Owlsmoor)

Our daughter is currently in pre-school so is coming to the end of her stay at Greengables. She started in the youngest group as a baby so has been through each class. I have to say it’s a wonderful nursery. She absolutely loves it and is really missing it during these difficult times. Everything about the nursery is fantastic, all the staff, the rooms with all the games and things for the children to do. The outside space they have. All the games and educational things they get to do and learn and the wonderful fresh cooked food they have to eat. As I say our daughter has loved her time there and made lots of lovely friends. I would highly recommend.

We are so fortunate that our daughter is at this nursery and I would definitely recommend it to other parents.

I have 2 children at Greengables. Both have been there since 11 months and now we're in pre school. I had no idea at the time quite how important Greengables would be to us over the years. Being a parent is tough, it is so reassuring that Greengables are there to support and guide you. The staff are all so cheerful and friendly and, they always take time to talk and listen. They have been so helpful and professional through difficult times like potty training and challenging behaviours. We recently had 2 weeks away with self isolation where I truly appreciated what a stabilising effect they have for our children. The meal plan is excellent and it was quite a challenge trying to match it in our time away. They manage to get our kids to eat all kinds of things they won't at home! Finally, I think the great management team has such a positive effect. They have systems in place which are maintained and reviewed, I have always felt safe with them.

I would recommend Greengables nursery to everyone - they have been wonderful. Both of my children have attended here. From the baby room up until preschool - all the staff are fantastic here and take the time to get to know each child individually. My youngest took a little while to settle and the staff in the baby room went above and beyond with trying different techniques to help her settle/eat/sleep etc. The handover to each room move is brilliant. The children do a wide range of activities throughout the day and have access to a brilliant outside/garden area. The cost of the nursery covers everything so you don’t need to remember to pack everything in the morning. Please go and view this nursery if you are local and trying to find a nursery for your little ones.

My son started at Greengables when he had just turned 1. It was so daunting leaving my baby in the hands of what were effectively strangers! He starts school in September and we haven't had a single regret about our choice of nursery. We have always received regular updates, the communication has been exemplary. Whenever we have raised any questions or concerns the staff have been there straight away to answer us and help. Our son loves all of the staff there and has learnt many things. I would definately recommend!

Our daughter joined Greengables Nursery when she was 10 months old and we couldn't be happier with her experience. From our first initial visit, I was very impressed with Greengables. The teaching staff are fantastic and it shows in the happy faces of the children. We are regularly kept up-to-date on the latest news, updates and changes within the nursery and I love the updates I receive via the ParentZone app. Our daughter is very happy at Greengables and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is thinking about sending their children there.

We have always been happy with the incredible welcome and care that our son has received since joining the nursery in 2018, but I wanted to take a moment to thank all of the staff who are currently working during the covid 19 pandemic. Our son is not currently in attendance but we have received regular contact via emails, phone calls, and received home learning ideas for us which my wife has eagerly completed and shared on his parent zone app. He still asks when he will be going back which is testimony to the love and fun he has there, as we are now 6 weeks down the lockdown line. You are all fantastic and we can’t wait to get back through those doors. Keep up the incredible work you are doing!

Amazing nursery! From the minute I sent my son to Greengables I have always felt at ease that he was well looked after. He has grown and gained confidence away from us and is now always talking about going back to nursery the next week. Everyone is informative and nothing is ever too much bother (even throughout the current COVID19 pandemic they have been absolutely fantastic so that there’s no extra stress for us parents and especially me as a keyworker.) I cannot thank them enough for the care they have given our son and family unit and would have no problem in recommending Greengables, as I have done several times. Outstanding in our eyes.

Great nursery having sent two of my three boys there, lovely facilities and lots to do inside and out. My son loves going and it has encouraged him to try different foods, being a picky eater and is also helping his speech come along nicely.

My daughters move to the next room was seamless, and she is enjoying her time as much as her previous room. She has integrated well, made friends easily and seems to be developing well.

My daughter has been attending Greengables since June 2019. I couldn’t recommend this nursery enough, the staff are so lovely and welcoming, they give a full handover and make me feel welcome when I come to collect my daughter and they are able to tell me what my daughter has enjoyed and taken part in. They have built great relationships with both myself and family members which would collect my daughter. She is very happy going to any staff member.

When I first started to look for childcare for my daughter, I looked at a number of nurseries in the area and some near my work. I was so taken in by the general feel of Greengables that every time I came home and my partner said 'was it nice' I said 'yes' and he replied with 'but it's not Greengables' and I knew in my heart of hearts it was the place for her. Now she's gone to school I can see that my decision to send her there was the best I could have made. When she graduated in August 2019, I was so proud of the young lady she had become and her confidence had grown all thanks to the wonderful staff at Greengables. Each and every member of staff is truly dedicated to providing the children with the best possible experience and preparing them for what comes next. I would recommend any parent to consider Greengables for their childcare needs.

From the moment we walked through the doors at an open day at Greengables last year, we knew from the amazingly friendly staff and wonderful indoor and outdoor environments that we couldn't imagine a better place for our son to be when he is not with us. He started in April this year and Greengables has not only lived up to but exceeded all our expectations. Our son loves the time he spends at Greengables and all the fun things he gets to do and it has been amazing how much he has flourished in such a short period. We can't recommend Greengables highly enough.

All staff are very kind and helpful. My son absolutely loves being there full time. They have hot meals twice a day and plenty of fresh air time too. I am extremely satisfied all round and would recommend to anyone.

Our son has been going to Greengables since he was seven months old and has worked his way through three rooms. His care has always been fantastic, the staff genuinely care for the children and form amazing relationships, which really help to build confidence and encourage independence, there isn't any area of development that has not been enhanced by attending this nursery. Our son has made some great friends as children are encouraged to play, especially outside, which was a real selling point for us. Meals offer so much variety and go down well with our little boy who often wants more!

I am very happy with the care that my son gets from Greengables. As soon as we pull up in the carpark his face lights up. He has learnt so much there as well, he interacts with other children and is so outgoing. We would recommend the nursery to anyone who is looking. The staff are amazing and they are so caring.

I've been coming to Greengables with my son for over 2 years now and couldn't recommend the staff and the establishment enough.

This is a fantastic purpose-built facility with staff who all clearly care for the children. The admin needs improving as we often seem to owe you money, yet we pay by direct debit and you never owe us money? Outside space including car park is why facility score is low. Maybe no staff parking before 9am?
