The recently refurbished Little Pioneers Nursery & Pre-School Newbiggin makes you feel like you've gained new family members when you meet their friendly, approachable team at their purpose-built, all-on-one level nursery.

Their ParentZone app keeps parents informed about life at nursery with photos from their day, assessments, meals are eaten and even toilet training progress! They are big on safety which is why all their staff are Paediatric first aid trained.

The nursery are Green Flag eco schools accredited, a programme that sees children lead the way in making little changes that deliver big environmental differences. They have areas for growing food (and eating it), regular visits to local care homes and take care of each other and the world.

They have 5 Little Pioneers to help share their core values with children, such as encouraging them to be independent to expressing their feelings.

The nursery has an outdoor play area that is surrounded by the remainder of the building, making it a safe and secure environment for children to play in. Staff and children take advantage of all of the local amenities which include two play areas, one at the entrance to nursery and one at the rear.

I've used this nursery for 2 of my children who have received excellent care always. The activities are creative and inclusive. Meals are nutritious and the children are encouraged to be independent. I would recommend the nursery to family and friends.

My daughter started this nursery in December and is just enjoying every day she attends there. They have an amazing wet room where she quite often comes home and tells us about all the messy things she has done but most of all the staff are friendly and professional and have helped her settle in just

My grandchild attends this nursery and over the past few weeks she has struggled to settle, the girls have all helped make us feel reassured and give us lots of confidence in them that she will settle. This is one of the best nurseries I have come across, the staff are all a pleasure, they're always on the ball.
Never had any problems since my son has been here (April 2017).
My son loves going to nursery and I am updated daily on his progress, new things he may be doing and also changes to the
nursery.
Overall it's an Excellent nursery and I wouldn't let my child go anywhere else.

The staff here are fantastic. They made sure my son was at ease and got the most out of his day at nursery. He has so fun here and learns loads. The staff make sure I am kept up to date with all events and goings on around the nursery, though I connect and with their Facebook. I have done and will continue
to recommend this nursery, it makes it easy going to work knowing your child is well looked after and cared for.

My daughter has been attending this nursery for 2 years. She has learnt to speak and behave very nicely. The key worker is very good and my daughter wanted to go even on weekends. The best thing about it is the Parentzone where I can see her progress and what she is learning and eating.
