The recently refurbished Little Pioneers Nursery & Pre-School Newbiggin makes you feel like you've gained new family members when you meet their friendly, approachable team at their purpose-built, all-on-one level nursery.

Their ParentZone app keeps parents informed about life at nursery with photos from their day, assessments, meals are eaten and even toilet training progress! They are big on safety which is why all their staff are Paediatric first aid trained.

The nursery are Green Flag eco schools accredited, a programme that sees children lead the way in making little changes that deliver big environmental differences. They have areas for growing food (and eating it), regular visits to local care homes and take care of each other and the world.

They have 5 Little Pioneers to help share their core values with children, such as encouraging them to be independent to expressing their feelings.

The nursery has an outdoor play area that is surrounded by the remainder of the building, making it a safe and secure environment for children to play in. Staff and children take advantage of all of the local amenities which include two play areas, one at the entrance to nursery and one at the rear.

The nursery is brilliant all the staff are so supportive and have helped my son to settle and he has been very content.
My daughter can't stop talking about the nursery and has learnt a lot. She has settled really well and we don't have to worry thanks to you guys.

All staff are amazing and friendly. I was a nervous wreck when I finally bit the bullet and signed my little one up, but all staff are welcoming and knowledgeable, so all my worries were put at ease instantly. My little one is thriving and loves the socialising aspect of it. Also plenty of fun activities
throughout the year (Santa visits, animal visits etc.) Also an app you can download to keep an eye on your little one's adventures is brilliant. Love seeing my little chap's pics and progress.

My child's key worker is fabulous and is helping us through some behavioural issues with the "terrible twos". Her development and speech os amazing since coming to nursery and interacting with other children and adults. I would thoroughly recommend Co-operative Childcare.

A very professional and friendly nursery. My daughter is always happy coming and going. Her development has come on significantly since attending which is all down to an action-packed, interactive schedule led by brilliant staff. My daughter's mum particularly enjoys the interactive app that keeps her
updated while our daughter is at nursery.
We had our son in three different nurseries over 12 months as we were very disappointed with some of their standards. Wish we knew about this place then!

My son has come on great since he started here. All staff that I have met are absolutely fantastic.
They give really good advice when I need it.
My son's talking is fantastic now and his social interaction is getting so much better as he didn't really mix well with other children.

My daughter has settled really well at this nursery. All of the staff are really friendly and make time and get back to you if you have any queries.
My daughter has come on leaps and bounds. She has met lots of friends and talks about her teachers at home and calls them her friends. I viewed a few
nurseries before she started in April and I felt that the security and safeguarding here was the best. I also love getting updates of her lunches and how she is doing on the app.

My daughter's key worker and the other staff within the setting were brilliant, settling her back into nursery after some months away. They have kept my mind at ease when leaving my child in their care after having bad experiences in the past.
I highly recommend this nursery to every parent. Management

The staff at this nursery are amazing. Nothing is too much trouble and they have gone above and beyond to make our son feel safe and happy. He started out being quite shy and has turned into such a confident, happy boy. He is now ready to start primary school with all the skills needed to be successful

The Co-operative Childcare Newbiggin is simply amazing! When I walk through the door I get a lovely feeling, all the children are happy, the staff are all very welcoming and very knowledgeable in their jobs. My daughter has settled there great and gets upset when she has to leave. Her key worker in
the baby room is fantastic, I couldn't praise her enough.

I like this nursery very much. Everyone in there is cooperative and nice. I feel safe to leave my little one there under right hands. My little one loves the nursery she enjoys going there every day.
