Little Pioneers Nursery & Pre-School, Newbiggin

This nursery has done wonders for my son. He loves the staff and is always buzzing to tell me what he has been up to. Staff are so approachable and make me, as a parent, feel at ease in any situation involving my child.

Since my daughter has started in the caterpillar room she has become more confident and has started using single and double words, rather than making noises to communicate. She has also been engaged all day in activities (meaningful) to her given next steps. I have enjoyed getting her pictures through the parent app weekly.

Excellent nursery, would highly recommend. All staff are fantastic with children and great at encouraging them to learn. The communication via parent zone is brilliant for parents to see their childs progress and meals etc.

Amazing nursery, super staff and child very well looked after. Gutted our little one is leaving to start school, we wish she could stay at this nursery forever.

My child has been at the nursery since he was ten months old up until he goes to reception. He has good bonds with all of the staff and will happily go to them when he needs them. He has learnt a lot while being there and I will be sad when he leaves.

The nursery was open and very inclusive wherein kids and keyworkers and staff mingle and are close to each other. My twin girls enjoy their time when they are here. They have been here since they were 9 months old and must say that they were taken care of properly. Teachers and main keyworkers are very caring and loving in which my girls would say 'I like (name of keyworker)'. I like this mobile access for childs care plan as I can easily access my twin daughters needs and development/improvements. Management/managers are very accommodating and emphatic with my situation. I must say they have been a big part of my twin daughters lives from 9 months old to 4 year old. Very grateful for everything. Keyworkers have been here for long time, my kids are familiar of them.

I am really happy with this nursery, they have helped my son come on loads with everything. They understand all his needs and cater through your help.

Both of my children have attended the nursery and I can't praise it enough. The staff are amazing. Can't recommend it enough.

I have found the entire team at The Co-operative Childcare Newbiggin absolutely brilliant in every element. I cannot recommend the team highly enough. Both my children have developed so fast during the short time they have been at Newbiggin which is entirely down to the exceptional care and effort provided by the team to go above and beyond their duties every time.

I have been using this nursery for now 4 years. With my daughter and now son. The team are fantastic, I have built strong relationships with the staff and the level of service they provide is second to none. The staff adore the children and watching my two over the years build relationships with their key workers and all the other staff has been fantastic. The manager and all the staff have really made it an outstanding nursery.

I am very likely to recommend this nursery to friends and to my family. Overall the standard is very good.

Fantastic nursery! Staff are friendly and helpful. My child loves coming to nursery and settled very quickly. She has been going since 10 month old. They nursery preschool is an excellent boost before big school and gets them ready.

How good this nursery is shown when my son now runs in to see his friends and key worker.

My son’s milestones are logged on the parent zone and also what he has been up too, eating and doing each day. This is invaluable.

I could not ask for a better place for my son to go, as he truly gets involved in all different activities and outdoor play too.

When it comes to potty training and moving my son into underpants it’s a shame this nursery does not provide pull-ups in the weekly costs? Currently, we are providing them.
