Co-op Childcare Newburn Nursery is a purpose-built nursery that has been designed to a high standard taking the needs of the children into account. There are three main rooms within the nursery split into the following age groups: six weeks to 18 months, 18 months - two-years-old and two to five-year-olds.

They are big on safety which is why ALL their staff are paediatric first aid trained. They have 5 Little Pioneers who help share their core values to children from encouraging them to be independent to expressing their feelings.

They are big on happy children and they have areas for growing food (and eating it), regular visits to local care homes and a focus on taking care of each other and the world. They hold the Green Flag Status Award, an internationally recognised award in a programme that sees children lead the world in making little changes that deliver big environmental differences.

They have a ParentZone app which keeps parents/carers informed about life at nursery from photos of their day, assessments, meals eaten and even toilet training progress!

Co-op Childcare Newburn have a sensory room which is a beautiful indoor garden that includes forest music and sensory materials that your child can use as tools for imaginative play.

This nursery is a fantastic place. Our daughter has come on a long way since she first started. The staff are very caring and friendly and are attentive to the children's needs. The activities are fun and educational and the outside space is superb. I'd certainly recommend this nursery, thanks!

My daughter has been at the Co-operative Childcare Newburn for two years. She has received exceptional care. There are always lots of fun and fabulous activities available. The girls are all really friendly and go out of their way to share information and answer any queries I have.

My son has been at this nursery since he was 10 months old and has spent time in all of the areas. He absolutely loves coming to nursery and has made a lot of friends over the years. He has also built up great relationships with the staff who are all lovely and take great care of the children. His confidence
has grown so much in the time he has been here and they have prepared him well for his next step of going to school. Thank you to all the staff who have helped him through his journey.

The quality of care at this nursery is wonderful. Staff are approachable, friendly and caring. Choosing this nursery for my daughter is one of the best decisions I have made. I was initially attracted to the nursery because of facilities including a separate garden for the babies. However the staff are what make the nursery outstanding. They are all dedicated, committed, genuinely care for the
children and communicate well with parents so I feel connected with my daughter's day. There is a real sense of community. My daughter is happy, confident and curious and the staff at the nursery have made an enormous contribution to this. I cannot thank them enough. They allow children to explore their own interests and also take them on trips. My daughter loves the food made by the chef at the nursery. I know while at nursery she will be encouraged to eat healthily and she has developed an understanding of the food she needs to grow. My daughter has made lasting friendships at this nursery - and so have I. I would happily recommend this nursery to other parents.

Very good nursery, pleasant staff. They are very flexible in accommodating any extra sessions needed to help the parents. They are like family, especially the ladies from the office who are great.

I have found this nursery and the staff to be very pleasant, there have been a few staff changes but my grandson still seems settled and it has not bothered him. The garden is not great, it is so big and the space could be used better. Management are friendly and welcoming. The nursery is secure and
safe and I have had no concerns for my grandson's safety or wellbeing.

The staff at the nursery are amazing! They are not only tentative and genuinely a huge developmental factor to the children’s lives, but they are actually interested and become extended members of everyone’s family. I am generally very happy with the nursery and think my child is very happy with his friends, learning experiences and the team in general. There is consistency I'd like to see:


- Toilet facilities - ensure 'always' soap and towels. I need to stress 'always'.
- Ensure a consistent variety of food.

My child says they have pasta quite a lot.
- Didn't feel my child was given the same level of attention/stimulation during the Xmas/NY week. Was definitely not happy that all the kids were in the baby room. They need space and stimulation and the service needs to be consistent at this time also.


All in all, I am very happy with the nursery and the staff.

In my opinion, its the best nursery in the area. Family and friends recommended this nursery to me. I visited a few and this was the best by miles. The staff are lovely, great building and facilities and fab internal system allowing parents access to their child direct daily records.

The nursery has lovely staff and space for kids to learn and play with a large choice of toys, equipment and arty goods. Menus offer lots of choice and staff take into consideration what stage your baby is at with textures whilst weaning, giving each child a healthy meals matching their individual needs.

The staff are fantastic, very friendly and there to support you in any way. My daughter has come a very long way with the help of all the staff.
My daughter is always telling us different stories about what she has been learning and what activities she has been doing and their always different things.

I can’t recommend Newburn Nursery enough! The staff are fab and go above and beyond to make the kiddies settle in and to put parents/grandparents at ease. My grandson went here from being 9 months old and it brought him on massively confidence-wise and academically.

Co-operative Newburn Nursery is absolutely incredible. I am still to this day impressed with the level of knowledge my son comes out with. All because these are integrated into his day at nursery. His ability to socialise, recognise letters and numbers and his vocabulary has really improved because
the staff here take the time and make these task fun.


I do truly believe his brightness and social skills have improved because of the staff that I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone. Words can't express how impressed I am with this nursery. The feedback (though the app and verbal), the support, the facilities and my sons well being it truly met with above expectations.
Keep it up guys. Love all the staff here.
