Co-op Childcare Newburn Nursery is a purpose-built nursery that has been designed to a high standard taking the needs of the children into account. There are three main rooms within the nursery split into the following age groups: six weeks to 18 months, 18 months - two-years-old and two to five-year-olds.

They are big on safety which is why ALL their staff are paediatric first aid trained. They have 5 Little Pioneers who help share their core values to children from encouraging them to be independent to expressing their feelings.

They are big on happy children and they have areas for growing food (and eating it), regular visits to local care homes and a focus on taking care of each other and the world. They hold the Green Flag Status Award, an internationally recognised award in a programme that sees children lead the world in making little changes that deliver big environmental differences.

They have a ParentZone app which keeps parents/carers informed about life at nursery from photos of their day, assessments, meals eaten and even toilet training progress!

Co-op Childcare Newburn have a sensory room which is a beautiful indoor garden that includes forest music and sensory materials that your child can use as tools for imaginative play.

The nursery is fantastic and my nephew is thriving there. My nephew receives excellent care and I look forward to hearing what he has been doing each day. The staff are very approachable and friendly. My nephew enjoys the variety of activities at the nursery as well as the delicious food they serve
the children. The management are fantastic and overall, I would definitely recommend the nursery to others.

The nursery provides good care, they are all aware of child's needs and can adapt to suit him.
He always comes home talking about his friends, he loves the ladies.
His language/talking has come on fabulously, he is using longer sentences and is more clear.

My granddaughter attended this nursery from aged 2 to 4.5. She was always happy to go to nursery and had a fabulous time while she was there. She had lovely relationships with the staff, especially her keyworkers. My granddaughter felt she belonged there as did I whenever I was taking or collecting
her.
It was a very emotional day when she left to start her next journey in reception class. I know she has learnt a lot of skills and a good foundation for this next stage. I couldn't thank the staff enough.

This is a truly magnificent nursery. The number one priority of the staff and management is the welfare, well being and development of the children. My son attended the nursery full time from 10 months old to 4 1/2 years old when he left to attend his local school. I can safely say it was one of the
best decisions I have ever made. When my son joined the nursery it was like becoming a part of a family and I was welcomed in as well. My son has just started school and has taken it in his stride. He is a confident, imaginative, sensitive and caring child who makes me proud every day to be his Daddy. I have no doubt in my mind that the nursery and staff played a huge part in this and for that, I will always be grateful. They have helped give him the best possible start in life and I can't ask for much more than that. I would have no hesitation in recommending any parent to send their son or daughter to this nursery.

Our child was at The Co-operative Childcare Newburn for two years. He loved being there. We could tell that he felt safe and comfortable during his time. He was included as much or as little as he wanted with activities or games. He was given the opportunity to develop his ideas and supported with them
also. We were given guidance to support his learning as not to confuse learning techniques (singing from the same hymn sheet). It was an ideal choice for his early learning!

This nursery is amazing. The facilities are excellent. When I am in the North East I visit to either drop off or pick up my great nephew. The staff are so welcoming and caring. They treat my nephew with so much care and attention. It has such a lovely happy atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Both of my children went here from being babies until they started school. The staff were brilliant and each of their Key Workers were amazing. As a mother of a child I feel it's very important being able to know that your child is in a safe environment and being well looked after.
