Little Pioneers Nursery & Pre-School, Newburn

My son started nursery last year as I went back to work from maternity leave. He settled really well and is always happy when it comes to drop off and collection. He continued throughout the lockdown periods and has continued to flourish and develop really well. He is always up to lots of different activities and always seems to enjoy what he’s doing, this is shown by the regular photos of him completing these activities. He has has two key workers as he moved through the different aged rooms and both have been as excellent as each other. He has had great bonds with both his key workers and equally the familiar staff he comes in to contact with each week. Anything you ask of the staff is never too much and they and the management will do all they can to help within reason. We get daily updates via an app about his day and monthly observations and updates on his progress. I’m really happy with the nursery and would recommend it to all parents.

My daughter has been going to Co-op Childcare Newburn for approximately six weeks. I am very impressed with the nursery. I looked at many nurseries before choosing and this was by far the best. I was really impressed with the nursery manager, on the visit she gave us all the information necessary and answered all our questions. One thing we liked in particular is the cleanliness and they have a cleaner three times a day, this was very important to us especially with Covid-19. The nursery use an app to update all the things your child is doing, such as eating. This is updated throughout the day also with pictures, the food is great and the outdoor area is great. We liked everything about the nursery. Would highly recommend.

My daughter attends this nursery and absolutely loves it. She is always made to feel welcome, tells me about how much fun she has had while she is there. She has taken to her key worker amazingly due to how much love and care they show towards her. The management at this nursery are very supportive towards families and always go above and beyond to help out wherever they possibly can. If you are anxious about sending your child to a nursery, I couldn’t recommend this one enough, everyone makes you feel like a friend rather than just a parent.

My son started at Co-op Childcare Newburn nursery in April last year. Since that time the staff have been extremely friendly, helpful and caring. I feel at ease going to work knowing that my son is happy and well looked after. I am really keen on the parent app which gives regular updates to show what he has been up to through the day. The app also allows me to check his development. I am extremely thankful to all of the staff for their hard work and dedication during what has been a really difficult time. Thank you.

Such an amazing nursery. My daughter loves going three days a week, a little bit more expensive than others but you get what you pay for. The nursery has some fantastic and supportive staff and they were really supportive to me as I was very apprehensive going back to work due to Covid-19.

Since the lockdown last year, I can't thank the staff of Co-op Childcare Newburn nursery enough. It's been testing times for all but I am pleased that my child and other parents' children have been able to keep in a routine whilst I have been at work. They have made every effort to keep everyone informed of the new procedures from dropping off, to picking your child up. This puts parents' minds at ease when working through these uncertain times with Covid-19. Well done everyone and keep up your excellent work. Will keep recommending to others. Thank you all again.

Although my son has only been there a few weeks everyone does such a lovely job and makes him feel at home and takes good care of him.

Lovely nursery with wonderful staff. My little one started in the Ladybirds at ten months old and is now in the Preschool at three. She loves it and recently had come on so well with her letters and numbers. She bounces in every day. Great menus and variety in day to day activities. Good feedback from staff, daily for meals and monthly for progress and activity reports.

The nursery has been brilliant with my son. They have been very supportive in all areas. I have seen his confidence with letters and numbers grow week on week.

The staff are extremely kind and caring towards my daughter who has been attending the past 6 months. They are patient, and have brought her confidence and skills along magnificently. I would always recommend for any parent to attend to see for themselves.

Staff are wonderful, always friendly, polite, creative and hard working. I feel like my son is very well looked cared for and trust the staff fully.

Our son has come a long way since starting at the nursery. All the staff are great with him. Its a lovely space for children to learn and play together.

The nursery has really helped my son to play with other children and I feel like it has helped his speech a lot too.

He loves going to nursery and looks forward to going! :)

Amazing nursery. Wonderful, dedicated staff who treat every child as an individual and help them develop in many different ways. Excellent indoor and outdoor facilities. My child is very happy here and I am so pleased I chose this nursery.

The nursery is wonderful. I can leave my son and go to work knowing that he is happy and in a safe comfortable environment. The staff are amazing with him and he looks forward to going. He has developed in leaps and bounds since starting and he is only 20 months. I couldn't recommend any more!

Overall standard of care is great. Only frustration is flexibility with dates and still being charged for bank holidays but the nursery has a fantastic environment for all children and caters to individual needs. Staff are extremely polite, caring and approachable

Very good nursery staff are really friendly and really have my son's interest at heart. Only Downside is that if you need to cancel a day you are still charged regardless of how much notice is given. Other than that it's an excellent nursery.

Both my son and daughter attend this nursery I couldn’t recommend it enough. Both of their workers are brilliant I feel so at ease leaving them there knowing they are in good hands. The outdoor area is a massive positive point my son loves playing in the garden exploring and playing with his friends.

This is a wonderful nursery, the staff are all welcoming and friendly and have supported me, as well as my daughter throughout her settling in.
