Co-op Childcare Newburn Nursery is a purpose-built nursery that has been designed to a high standard taking the needs of the children into account. There are three main rooms within the nursery split into the following age groups: six weeks to 18 months, 18 months - two-years-old and two to five-year-olds.

They are big on safety which is why ALL their staff are paediatric first aid trained. They have 5 Little Pioneers who help share their core values to children from encouraging them to be independent to expressing their feelings.

They are big on happy children and they have areas for growing food (and eating it), regular visits to local care homes and a focus on taking care of each other and the world. They hold the Green Flag Status Award, an internationally recognised award in a programme that sees children lead the world in making little changes that deliver big environmental differences.

They have a ParentZone app which keeps parents/carers informed about life at nursery from photos of their day, assessments, meals eaten and even toilet training progress!

Co-op Childcare Newburn have a sensory room which is a beautiful indoor garden that includes forest music and sensory materials that your child can use as tools for imaginative play.

The staff are exceptional. They have provided excellent support to both myself and my daughter during this transition period. She comes home happy and chatty. She is involved in wonderful activities and is happy to see the staff.

My child loves coming and runs in every morning.

When I collect my nephew, I love hearing about the day he has had at nursery. He is always enthusiastic telling me about all the lovely things he has done that day.
The staff are always very friendly and always smiling as I come in. I would definitely recommend this nursery.

My daughter attended for a year before school and my son who is now 2 1/2 has attended since he was 10 months old and will likely continue until school. My Daughter thoroughly enjoyed her time at nursery and made lots of friends, her confidence grew and really helped her get ready for school. There
have been quite a few staff changes recently so I am currently not familiar with a few of the staff with my son only attending 2 days a week, however, this hasn't caused any problems and everyone I know is lovely, it's also nice to see a male member of staff. I have always found the staff to be very friendly and have always trusted our children are safe and eating a variety of food. I like the parent zone app and being able to see photos now and again, although I feel there is less than the old files! My favourite part of the nursery is the garden, my kids love the outdoors, playing on bikes and in the sand, it is a great size. It's a great location for us and plenty of parking and away from busy roads.

Our granddaughter is shy and reserved. The staff have been a great help in bringing her out of her shell. She has been given homework to do which has helped educate her and mature as a child. We believe that ALL the staff have been instrumental in giving her a good start in her education. We believe
she has been given the best start she could have to go to primary school.

Excellent nursery, our daughters loves coming here and never wants to leave. The management, to all the staff, are all so friendly, approachable, she really likes them all and they are an asset to the Co-operative group. It has been the best experience of our little one's time at this nursery, and will

Absolutely recommend this nursery, our son has been here for almost 4 years and is extremely happy. It has installed great values in him, his development has been fantastic and especially in his social skills. Sad to be leaving to go to reception.

Our daughter joined the nursery when she was one year old and she is now just about to leave pre-school. She has been well cared for by all the staff and everyone shows a genuine interest in the children. There are some fab learning activities (especially Isla bikes) and parents are updated on progress
regularly. We have loved our daughter being here and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.
