Co-op Childcare Newburn Nursery is a purpose-built nursery that has been designed to a high standard taking the needs of the children into account. There are three main rooms within the nursery split into the following age groups: six weeks to 18 months, 18 months - two-years-old and two to five-year-olds.

They are big on safety which is why ALL their staff are paediatric first aid trained. They have 5 Little Pioneers who help share their core values to children from encouraging them to be independent to expressing their feelings.

They are big on happy children and they have areas for growing food (and eating it), regular visits to local care homes and a focus on taking care of each other and the world. They hold the Green Flag Status Award, an internationally recognised award in a programme that sees children lead the world in making little changes that deliver big environmental differences.

They have a ParentZone app which keeps parents/carers informed about life at nursery from photos of their day, assessments, meals eaten and even toilet training progress!

Co-op Childcare Newburn have a sensory room which is a beautiful indoor garden that includes forest music and sensory materials that your child can use as tools for imaginative play.

Our child really enjoys nursery and has made lots of friends. He comes home singing a multi of nursery rhymes and sometimes teaches me and my husband a thing or two about them! The nursery staff are lovely and are so warm and friendly with the children. He gets lots of time outdoors and making crafts...the
nursery have also hosted a couple of themed days this year which have been lovely. Couldn't rate the nursery highly enough!

My little boy has been attending this nursery for almost a year and I am more than happy with the education and care he receives. The nursery has up-to-date resources and a lovely environment. I am always kept up to date with my child’s day via the online journal system and the staff in the room are
always available for verbal handovers and updates too. My favourite thing about Newburn nursery is the outdoor time they provide my son with, he is a very active little boy and he always has access to the outdoor space at this nursery no matter what the weather is like. He has the opportunity to play, explore, learn and develop in the way he loves to and we really appreciate this as a family.

We have always had a friendly reception, my son loves coming and seeing his 'teacher's' and friends. He loves the activities they do with him. Helpful staff, they have been very supportive to us during difficult times at home.

The school is brilliant for both kids and parents. They are perfectly trained to keep the children up to date with learning steps and are so supportive to help and advise what to do to help your little one. The amount of support I have personally received as a mother to a child is another reason why
my child attends this school. They are always open with happy smiles and faces, and you will always be greeted with a warm welcome. The different play areas are clean and tidy and the kids are always playing and having fun. Since attending this school my child is so advanced and happy in social situations.

Our son has attended from 9 months old. Through the initial settling in period and transition to the older rooms, he has been supported and looked after. He loves attending nursery now and has a great relationship with staff. They do lots of new activities with the children to keep them entertained
and have a lovely environment for him to thrive. He loves the large outdoor space and spends a lot of time outside. They also take the children out locally for walks.

Our boy started at the nursery when he was 10 months old. He is now 27 months and is really thriving and I think this is due to all the experiences he gets at nursery. He is always so happy to be there, from the start to the end of the day. The ladies are all really attentive and listen to anything
we want them to know about our child, for example, he went through a phase of bad eczema and they all followed his plan perfectly and it didn’t take long for his skin to improve. I recommend the nursery to everyone I know and I am so happy that my child attends here.

My son has been going to Little Pioneers Nursery for 4 days a week for nearly a year now, and we couldn't be happier. The staff, facilities and care have all been excellent, and I have seen my son thrive, developing skills and friendships. The learning goals are tailored to my son's interests and they
stretch his skills in fun ways and the staff are happy to accommodate, eg using cloth nappies. They even managed to get my contact napper to nap! We're completely happy with our choice to send our son here.

Fantastic nursery, my little boy loves going every week, he enjoys everything about it from the lovely friendly and caring staff to the fantastic fresh, healthy and diverse choice in meals. My daughter also enjoyed attending this nursery before she went into school, can't recommend it enough!

My nephew has developed very well and has turned into a lovely, happy little boy. I believe the nursery has encouraged this. The staff are always very caring and understanding. My nephew loves coming to nursery. He loves playing with the toy cars they have - especially. I'm very happy with this nursery

Excellent nursery. Our daughter enjoys and looks forward to the weekdays so that she can go to the nursery. Our daughter has also developed extensively and growing to be a very confident little toddler.

We've been using Co-op Childcare Newburn Day Nursery for over six years and couldn't ask for a better nursery. Both our children have loved coming here, the team are amazing, open and welcoming. The facilities are great and the children are encouraged to be independent and confident.

An amazing nursery. I am on to my 4th grandchild attending this nursery. I couldn’t recommend it enough. The staff are amazing, they are all caring, helpful and very friendly. The outdoor areas are great, the children have so much space to play and explore. The food is excellent with a good choice on

An amazing nursery, all the staff are lovely and always go out their way for each child. My little boy is autistic and each and every member of staff has helped him come on so much since he started. They have been such a blessing to both my kids that go there. Honestly couldn’t recommend this nursery

Amazing nursery, I was very apprehensive to send my daughter into a setting since she was born in lockdown so visits and settle ins have been very different but the staff were amazing and my daughter went in no problem. I always know what she is up to and how her day is going. It makes the process so
much easier when you can see your child has an attachment with the staff, so when I'm not there for mammy cuddles I know my little girl will get lots off her key worker.

My daughter has previously attended nursery and now attends holiday club. All staff are always welcoming and engaging, adapting to meet her needs and interests. Nursery is in a great location on the riverside where they feed horses etc and have great activities including May Day dancing etc linked to
local and national events.

My son has attended since he was about six months. Any mum can imagine the anxiety we had initially with dropping him off at such a young age. He is now two years and has grown into a confident and smart well rounded little boy largely due to the care he receives at nursery. He literally runs off to
start off his day because he enjoys nursery so much. As a parent the things that warm my heart about Co-op Childcare Newburn is how flexible they are every time. I can't praise them enough for their inclusivity in all aspects especially in their food menus. They are always preparing fresh and healthy meals, the great chef even going all the way to make Jollof rice for my Nigerian son. The app gives me peace of mind as I can follow up on my sons's activities throughout the day whilst at work. The excellent nursery manager is always keen to explore any concerns and I can't thank my son's key worker and all the nursery staff enough, they truly go above and beyond.

My daughter has been attending this nursery for nearly one year. The staff are extremely attentive to the needs of the children. I cannot praise them enough for their efforts throughout the Covid-19 pandemic. My daughter seems to enjoy going to nursery and it is very much based on exploring the world
around them and getting them to play outside as much as possible. My only issue is that quite often I have to contact to chase my daughters belongings or inform them that she has came home with someone else's. I also question the size of the food servings for the children as quite often they say she eats all their food but she refuses to touch the same things when at home.

My son started nursery last year as I went back to work from maternity leave. He settled really well and is always happy when it comes to drop off and collection. He continued throughout the lockdown periods and has continued to flourish and develop really well. He is always up to lots of different
activities and always seems to enjoy what he’s doing, this is shown by the regular photos of him completing these activities. He has has two key workers as he moved through the different aged rooms and both have been as excellent as each other. He has had great bonds with both his key workers and equally the familiar staff he comes in to contact with each week. Anything you ask of the staff is never too much and they and the management will do all they can to help within reason. We get daily updates via an app about his day and monthly observations and updates on his progress. I’m really happy with the nursery and would recommend it to all parents.
