Bright Horizons Teddies Day Nursery and Preschool

When I went for the show round the staff were professional and friendly. My daughter comes home happy and sleepy from her busy day at nursery. The little feedback sheet tells me what she's eaten, how she's slept, nappies and who's been looking after her, which is great as I don't get to collect her but still know how her days gone.

I couldn't recommend it more!

The staff take excellent care of all their children, they are very thorough and conscientious in their care and are also always pleasant, smiling and friendly. I like that they get the children ready for school with a variety of activities, my eldest child particular enjoys cooking club and gardening, he brought home a sunflower that he had planted and we grew it at home which he really enjoyed. My youngest has special needs and the staff have been excellent in making sure they know what his requirements are and that they can help him as much as possible.

We have used Teddies nursery for the past 3 years and have two children who attend. We are very happy with the care they receive and most of all our children are happy there. They spend lots of time outdoors. The range of toys and activities put on for the children indoors is excellent, encouraging development and interaction with other children. Each child has a learning story full of photos and observations of the child's development, which the family can keep when the book is finished. The staff interact with the children well and are very friendly and compassionate.

The standard of attention to my son's needs are second to none. They regularly liaise with both myself and my husband every day, giving us valuable feedback which allows us to know what he's been doing at nursery. We are very happy with the nursery and facilities and would recommend it to anyone.

My 3-year-old daughter has been at the nursery for over 2 years and is very happy there. The nursery is great with very friendly and helpful staff who offer clear communication. The facilities are excellent with food cooked on site. They were also very helpful when it comes to dealing with food allergies. I would definitely recommend the nursery to others.

I love that this nursery is relatively small so each room isn't too busy. There are only ever a maximum of 6 babies (up to around 1 year old) in the baby room. Staff turnover is low and they seem to care about the children and parents views. The staff are not all young girls with many having children of their own. The learning options are good. My little girl was learning to write before she was 3 at the nursery and loves learning letters and numbers as well. She is about to start school and will be one of the youngest in her year (July birthday) but is more than ready because of the hard work and time spent with all the staff at Bright Horizons Teddies. I think we made the right choice a few years ago when we decided to send our children to this nursery.

We are extremely happy with this nursery. Our child's transition to attend went so smoothly. We have every confidence in all the staff, who have been very accommodating with our child's routine. The staff are very welcoming, all very friendly and professional. Our child is very happy at Teddies, so we are too.

My son (now 3.5) has been at Teddies since he was 7 months old. The staff are warm, friendly and caring, and he feels completely at home there. He has made some lovely friends. The facilities are brilliant, particularly for little ones, and the children are often playing outside in the secure garden. Communication with parents is good, and the nursery is flexible when it comes to booking extra days or swapping days.

I have been very happy with this nursery. My child has attended for over two years. I find all of the staff very caring, friendly and supportive. I really like the way they take the children outside to play at every opportunity so they get lots of fresh air and activity. They take an interest in each child and communicate this well as the end of each day so I know what they have been up to. I always feel confident she will be well taken care of and have lots of play time fun throughout the day. I would definitely recommend Teddies Day Nursery .

Our eldest struggled to separate and settle at his previous nursery and had just started to enjoy it when the nursery closed suddenly. We were concerned that this might lead to a set back but Teddies have been really thoughtful and sensitive to his and our needs. As a result he and his little brother have settled there really well. All the staff have been friendly and welcoming and the manager and another have been especially helpful and flexible which has made the transition easy. We have already recommended Teddies to one of our friends who are going to start there next week.

Fabulous nursery, staff very friendly and energetic, lots going on all the time but plenty of time for cuddles! My 2 girls are very happy there, and like it even more than their first nursery which they were happy at too.

Our daughter has been at Teddies for almost 2 years. We are really happy with it, and she enjoys going there. The staff seem caring and friendly and are provide updates every day. They are always happy to discuss any issues.

Teddies is a fantastic nursery. The staff are so friendly and attentive and my daughter is really happy there. They have some great facilities for the children, including a nice outdoor space where they take the children daily. My daughter loves going to nursery and seems to be thriving under their care. Would definitely recommend.

My child has been extremely happy at this nursery for 2 years. The staff are amazing, very positive and helped put my mind at rest, knowing my little girl was being well looked after. They looked after her daily dietary requirements, medicine requirements and even disability requirements. The management were happy to help and often quite flexible when we had to swap my child’s days due to hospital appointments. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone and would like to thank all the staff for looking after my little one so well.

Both of my children attend / attended Teddies. It is a lovely, homely welcoming nursery where my children thrive. They look forward to going in a morning and do not want to leave in the evening. The food is really good and nutritional. My eldest went to School ready for the next challenge and has done so well. My youngest has made some lovely friends and really enjoys their outdoor garden area. Highly recommend.

I have recommended Teddies to several friends.

My child is very settled at Teddies and particularly enjoys the Noodles and French groups that are provided by outside agencies. She is always clean and well cared for when we collect her. The staff are mostly friendly - some very much so- and staff turnover is minimal.

I am thrilled with the nursery - both the facilities and the staff. The staff are attentive, thoughtful, and caring and are attuned to the needs of my child. I really appreciate the detailed feedback and updates on my child's development. They are always happy to talk if I have any concerns or questions.

Our children have attended teddies for the last 4 years and I have never felt in any way nervous about leaving them! The staff are amazing and really do go the extra mile to take care of your little ones. The positive and comfortable environment is obvious as soon as you walk through the door. I cannot recommend enough, in fact I feel it will be a sad day when both my kids eventually have to leave Teddies behind for school!
